Pokemon Dragon Rides the Clouds

Chapter 210 Blessed Candy

In the end, Mo Hen and Lillie found a dessert shop in the bustling memorial ceremony.

It only took a few days to build a dessert shop that was almost the same as an ordinary shop.

The two chose a seat by the window. Mo Hen supported his chin with one hand and watched the girl holding a spoon and eating a box of exquisite tiramisu in small bites, and then looked out the window.

The weather was about to enter winter, but it was only seven o'clock in the evening, and the moon was already hanging high with few stars. People were coming and going outside with smiles on their faces.

In the dessert shop, the seats were also packed and the business was full.

The shop assistants were all very busy, customers kept coming, and there were many people queuing up.

Most of the people who come to this dessert shop are young couples, one man and one woman, similar to Lillie.

While the girls were queuing up, they were excitedly talking to their male companions about what flavors of cakes and ice cream they wanted to eat, while the boys were all perfunctory with helpless expressions.

"Ahen, Ahen, this tiramisu is super delicious, do you want to take a bite?"

The blond girl, who looked as delicate as a porcelain doll, scooped up a spoonful with a small spoon, then stretched it out in front of Mo Hen, with anticipation in her eyes.

"No."

Drinking a glass of light coconut juice, Mo Hen glanced at the girl sideways and then refused without hesitation.

Why do I always feel that this scene has a familiar feeling?

"Hey, even though tiramisu is so delicious, you really don't want to take a bite..."

Some disappointed girls did not give up and still tried to persuade.

"I'm pretty sure no."

After drinking the coconut juice in one gulp, Mo Hen looked at the girl opposite her puffing out her cheeks and eating tiramisu angrily. The corners of her mouth were slightly raised, and she turned to look at the big clock specially hung in the store:

"It's almost 07:30, and you can watch the float parade from this location for a while."

Mo Hen used the corner of his eye to look at the girl whose delicate little ears moved but was still angry and didn't say anything, and then continued:

"During the parade, people on the floats throw a special candy to both sides of the road."

"I heard from the doctor that this kind of candy is made with a unique secret recipe and is delicious. Moreover, this kind of candy was blessed by Kapu Mingming, the island patron saint of Melemele Island. It is said that eating this kind of candy is very delicious. If you give me candy, you will get Kapu Mingming’s blessing.”

"Really? Really? Is this candy really delicious?"

The girl held a small plastic spoon in her mouth, staring at Mo Hen with shining eyes, pursed her pink lips, and her green eyes were filled with eagerness and yearning for the candy in Mo Hen's mouth.

Lillie grew up in Aetherland since she was a child and almost never left.

In Etherland, although the Aloha Festival is also held, there is no large-scale program like the float parade in Hauale City.

Therefore, the girl who loves sweets is full of expectations for the candies that Mo Hen described as being blessed by the patron saint.

"This is what the doctor said. I have never eaten it, so I don't know if it is true or not."

"Hey, it turns out you lied to me again..."

While the two were talking, there was a sudden noise outside the store, and people who were originally on the road retreated to both sides.

"Hey, the float parade has started. I want to know if the candy is delicious. I'll try it later and I'll find out."

Seeing that the girl had just put the last bite of tiramisu into her mouth, Mo Hen motioned her to look out the window, and then

Then he sat up from his seat and looked around:

"Go out after eating, otherwise you will be squeezed in the back soon and won't be able to grab the candy."

Lillie took Pachlitz, who was sitting next to her with a round belly, into her arms, and then looked around the store.

The couples in the dessert shop were all speeding up to finish the desserts in their hands, and then ran out of the dessert shop in a hurry, trying to occupy a favorable terrain to ensure that they could get the candies thrown from the floats.

Letting Pachlitz climb onto her shoulders, Lillie carried her small bag containing Little Nebula, and then she and Mo Hen walked out of the dessert shop, found a place to stand, and looked towards the other side of the beach street.

It was a fleet of cars that looked very dazzling at night, with colorful LED lights decorated with various beautiful pendants, stickers and faces and other exquisite decorations.

The floats are made entirely of wood. Each float is very large, with enough space inside to accommodate more than a dozen people, lining up in a row and driving neatly on the streets.

The sound made by the gravel, combined with the music played by the people in the floats, and the various lights, made the motorcade look so majestic and brilliantly lit.

Standing on top of the first float in the lead is a man, a man dressed in exquisite ancient prince costumes. It is Ilima who won the ring and assumed the role of "Conch Prince".

Ilima was holding an orange conch in his hand, which looked very similar to Kapu, the patron saint of Melemele Island. He was playing a wonderful music as he passed by.

"That conch..."

Mo Hen pushed up his glasses and looked at the conch in Ilima's hand. Listening to the music, he always felt a strange feeling on his body.

"Ahen Ahen, the conch held by Captain Ilima is called Kapu's Flute. I have seen it in the book. It is said that there are four Kapu's Flute in total, representing the four major islands in the Alola region. The patron saint is an artifact with the power of the patron saint."

Seeing Mo Hen looking at the conch with some confusion, Lillie quickly said as if offering a treasure, and then looked at him with a look of waiting for praise.

However, Mo Hen didn't pay attention to him at all, but looked at the convoy of floats that was about to pass by his side.

There were two people tossing candies, and they both stayed on the first float like Ilima, each throwing candies to one side.

As the motorcade approached, Ilima on the float seemed to have discovered the ink marks among the crowd, but instead of giving him a good look, his face became slightly ugly.

Mo Hen noticed the change in Ilima. He didn't know what caused Ilima to have such an attitude towards him, and he didn't care.

What he cares about now are the candies that have been thrown into the air, drawing beautiful arcs like a meteor shower.

He let go of the hand that he had been holding because he was afraid that the girl would get lost. Then he spotted the fallen candy, jumped up, and reached out to grab it.

Among the people standing in this area, most of them jumped up at the same time as Mo Hen. They were crowded and the scene was slightly chaotic.

Two boys who were aiming for the same candy were unable to change directions because they were in the air, so they collided directly, and then several people around them suffered as well.

"Ahen"

Lillie saw that Mo Hen was also hit, and quickly squeezed through the crowd, helped Mo Hen who fell to the ground, and asked worriedly:

"Ahen, are you okay?"

"It's okay, it's just a fall. It's just this eye that was broken again."

Having lost his glasses, Mo Hen opened his slightly hollow eyes and stretched out his hand.

Inside, there are three candies wrapped in colorful candy wrappers.
