A friendly day at Hogwarts
Chapter 508 The Half-Blood Prince Arrives
Looking at the package in Bill's hand, Mrs. Weasley, who was smiling just a second ago, suddenly turned pale.
"What did you just say, dear?" After a long silence, she asked with some difficulty.
Bill seemed to be afraid of irritating her too much, so he pursed his lips and silently handed the package to her.
Mrs. Weasley looked down at the obviously unopened package in her hand, and then looked up at everyone, with a hint of embarrassment in her eyes.
"How about... let's stop crowding here..." Glenn said, "I remember that Charles hid a bottle of good wine in the kitchen. I need everyone to help me find it!"
"I think I've seen it before, could it be behind the fireplace?"
Several people, including Fleur, hurriedly agreed, bypassing Mrs. Weasley and hurried into the kitchen.
The moment he closed the door, Glenn clearly saw Mrs. Weasley's back shaking violently.
"what happens?"
Mr. Weasley and Lupine were chatting over coffee at the dining table. He seemed to vaguely hear crying coming from outside the door. He looked back at Glenn and the others and asked.
"It's Percy, Dad," Bill sighed, "He sent Mommy's Christmas sweater back."
George said angrily: "There is no note, this guy didn't even open the package!"
"I guess he has something to hide..." Mr. Weasley's hand holding the coffee visibly trembled, but he had to say as if to comfort himself, "As you know, he is with Fudge now. At work, there are so many people around him watching his every move..."
"At this time, I'm afraid you are the only one who will still defend him, Dad..." Bill was obviously very angry, "You clearly know that it was Percy's own choice."
Mr. Weasley was speechless for a moment.
"We have to comfort mom." Fred sat at the dining table for a while, getting angrier and angrier as he thought about it, and couldn't help but say, "She doesn't deserve to be angry for someone like Percy, he's just a piece of rat shit, he's broken. This is a great pot of soup at our house!"
"Don't say that about him, Fred, he is your brother after all." Mr. Weasley sighed, "He just... lost his mind for a moment."
Glenn patted Fred on the shoulder and advised: "I know you are angry, but please don't be angry yet..."
"Do you want to listen to what you are saying?" Fred almost laughed angrily and glared at him.
"I know, it's just a joke." Glenn smiled at him, "Actually, Percy is not bad at heart, he just yearns too much for power and the life of the so-called "upper class."Give him some time, and when he sees clearly the hypocrisy of those people, he will understand. "
"What Glenn said makes sense." Lupine put down the coffee cup and agreed, "And to be honest, I don't think your comfort can make Molly feel better, it may even make it worse..."
"That's right." Mr. Weasley stood up, "I'd better go..."
He sighed and left the kitchen.
"Okay..." George said helplessly, "We'd better go upstairs and tell Ron and the others the news, lest they come down later and get into mother's trouble."
By the time Mrs. Weasley finally calmed down, it was already approaching noon. Fortunately, Glenn and Charles had already worked together to prepare lunch, so that the entire Order of the Phoenix family would not go hungry through Christmas noon.
As it was approaching dinner time, a man whom Harry didn't like came to Ollivander's old house.
"You're here just in time, Severus, we're about to start dinner." Mad-Eye greeted him with a smile as he walked in.
In fact, except for Dumbledore and Glenn, most members of the Order of the Phoenix did not know that Professor Snape had returned to Voldemort and acted as the Dark Lord's henchman as a double agent.
He obviously didn't plan to attend the Order of the Phoenix's luncheon, and presumably the Death Eaters would also hold a party or something like that today.
"Sorry, Alastor, I'm just passing by. I'm afraid I won't be able to stay too long... I have news for Potter." He said standing in the hall.
"Looking for me?" Harry looked shocked, "What's the matter?"
The Half-Blood Prince glanced at Sirius, who was frowning, and then looked at him coldly, not hiding the disgust in his eyes.
"I came here on the orders of the principal," he said solemnly. "To be honest, I don't want to take on this job to clean up the mess left by some incompetent person."
"You'd better say what you have to say, Snotlout," Sirius said.
"Occlumency, Black, is a magic you have been teaching for several years without any improvement." Snape said contemptuously.
Sirius was momentarily speechless.
Although the problem actually lies with Harry himself, Professor Snape is right. Under Sirius's guidance, Harry has indeed made no improvement in this aspect after more than a year.
"I've almost learned it!" Harry said firmly, "Sirius is a very good teacher..."
"Ha." The Half-Blood Prince sneered, with a tone that was partly sarcastic and partly cool. "I think you know best whether it has any effect. But that's not important. The question is...do you think I'm very cool?" Would you like to have private lessons with you, Potter?"
This weird way of communication would make no one comfortable. Even Mad-Eye and Glenn who were watching could not help but frown.
"Why didn't Dumbledore teach him himself?" Sirius asked coldly, "Why you?"
Snape curled up his lips and said calmly: "Let me think about it... probably because the principal doesn't want to waste time on such a brainless student..."
"you..."
Sirius was so angry that he almost rushed to punch him, but luckily he was stopped by Glenn.
"Well, I don't have much time to lose." Professor Snape looked at his hands and said, "Monday night, at six o'clock, start your first class in my office. If anyone asks, just say It's for tutoring in Potions, which makes sense based on your performance in class."
After he finished speaking, he ignored Harry's reaction and turned around and strode away, his black robes and cloak flying behind him.
Sirius wanted to say something more, but Glenn stopped him again, because he was familiar with the original work and knew that if the two of them were allowed to continue arguing, it would be difficult to end the situation.
"If you don't want him to cause trouble for Harry during class, it's best not to argue with him." He whispered.
"He must have done it on purpose... He chose this time to cause trouble for people during the big festival..." Sirius said reluctantly, "I'm sorry, Harry, if I could teach you Occlumency earlier, you would You don’t have to deal with him anymore..."
"It's not your fault, Sirius, it's just that I'm too stupid to learn..."
"What did you just say, dear?" After a long silence, she asked with some difficulty.
