094 The monster is out!

On one side of a long, dimly lit room, many owners were engraved with entangled snakes, towering up to support the ceiling that melted into the darkness above, casting a shadow over the entire room filled with green and mysterious mist. A long, eerie black shadow.

"Ginny, you are such a silly girl." The handsome boy knelt on one knee and gently stroked Ginny's face lying on the ground.

"Unfortunately, that guy Rufus's body was so injured that most of his life energy could not be absorbed by me, so I could only barely get rid of the shackles of the diary." The boy said softly.

He slowly raised his head. If Dumbledore were here, he would be able to recognize at a glance that this boy was Tom Marvolo Riddle 50 years ago, the guy who would later be called Voldemort.

Tom stood up slowly, facing a statue as tall as the room itself, which clung to the dark wall behind.

Tom raised his neck high and stared at the huge face above - it was an old monkey-like face, with a sparse long beard that almost reached the hem of the wizard's robe carved in stone. A gray bigfoot stood on the smooth floor of the room.

"Speak to me, Slytherin—the greatest of the Hogwarts Four."

Tom said in hissing snake language, which seemed even more terrifying in the dark room.

Slytherin's huge stone face moved, and its mouth opened wider and wider, eventually forming a huge black hole.

Something seemed to be moving in the mouth of the statue, and something was sliding upwards from the depths of the statue.

A huge thing suddenly fell on the stone ground, and the whole secret room was shaken.

A giant snake was unfolding its coiled body from Slytherin's mouth, and then Riddle hissed: "Come out and clean this castle of the bastards who are not worthy of learning magic."

The huge basilisk stood upright and nodded slightly to Riddle. It was green all over, glowing with the bright light unique to poisonous snakes. Its body was as thick as the trunk of an oak tree. It stretched its upper body high into the air, and its big flat head darted randomly between the stone pillars.

"Miss Weasley, we look forward to our next meeting." Riddle finally left Ginny lying on the ground, and then showed a bright smile, "Pray that they can find you."

Riddle was very grateful to Ginny. Who could be better deceived than a young and ignorant little wizard in first grade? !

If Ginny hadn't been scared about Harry being petrified and handed the diary to Scrimgeour, I'm afraid Riddle wouldn't have had a body so quickly.

When it comes to Scrimgeour, Riddle has to admit that he is indeed a qualified Gryffindor - reckless and brainless. Even though he knows that the diary is a dangerous dark magic alchemy product, he still communicates with Riddle quite confidently. .

The strong will win and the weak will die, but you can't survive just by being strong.

Riddle put on his hood and hurried along another path down the room.

Ginny is pure blood, and although the Weasley family is against Voldemort, Riddle does not want to attack them unless there is no other way.

Dumbledore was sitting behind his desk in the office on the eighth floor. Not long after Snape left, a violent shaking and vibration swept through the entire room instantly.

"What?" Dumbledore's expression suddenly changed. He couldn't care about anything for a moment. He picked up his wand and rushed out from behind the desk without even having time to call Edward.

The terrifying sound almost swept through the entire castle, and the stairs were shaking violently. Dumbledore had to use a lightening spell to make himself directly across the stairs and slowly float down from the eighth floor.

The stairs on the first and second floors had been completely destroyed, and a terrifying creature half the width of the corridor was running towards the upper floors.

Fortunately, it is already curfew time, and most of the students have returned to the common room, with only a few students still in the library.

"The basilisk," Dumbledore said gloomily, "I should have thought of it."

"Principal Dumbledore, you are here." Professor McGonagall trotted over from the other end of the corridor, her expression extremely ugly, "The spell has no effect on this monster at all."

"Yes." Dumbledore nodded solemnly, "This is a basilisk, a terrifying creature that is immune to magic."

"The monster in the Chamber of Secrets?" Professor McGonagall's face tightened, "I thought it was just a legend."

Dumbledore frowned and murmured, "I think we need a little help now."

Then, with Professor McGonagall's surprised look on his face, Dumbledore suddenly raised his hands above his head and put his hands together. A dazzling golden flash suddenly appeared behind Dumbledore, followed by a cannon-like sound. There was a loud noise and the floor shook.

The flash of light headed straight for the basilisk, with Dumbledore protecting Professor McGonagall behind him.

Golden flashes exploded, and several portraits in the hallway shouted.

"That's—" Professor McGonagall looked at the golden flash with lingering fear.

"Fawkes." Dumbledore said calmly. He turned to look at Professor McGonagall and smiled softly: "You don't think it's just a stupid bird eating and drinking in the office, do you?"

"I'm afraid it will never happen again." Professor McGonagall pursed her lips together tightly, and she asked tentatively: "That monster... is he dead?"

"Death? I don't think it's that simple." Dumble shook his head gently, "But I think this must have caused great harm to it."

Fox's attack did cause great damage to the basilisk, but it also undoubtedly angered it. Its tail as thick as a tree trunk whipped wildly in the corridor, making a mess on the floor and walls.

"What should we do?" Professor McGonagall asked, holding up her wand.

At this time, more professors ran down the stairs.

"Let's confine it to the corridor on the second floor as much as possible to prevent it from escaping," Dumbledore assigned the tasks to the professors, "Filius, you are responsible for the feint attack and attract the basilisk's attention; Mi Leva, you assisted Filius with the sex change technique; Professor Sprout, you are responsible for..."

"Pay attention, pay attention to its eyes. The eyes of the basilisk have instant death, which is irreversible."

The professors nodded. This was the first time they had faced such a terrifying monster - this was a basilisk that had lived for thousands of years!

Just as he finished explaining the battle plan, Dumbledore vaguely felt as if someone had passed through the barrier of Hogwarts.

But he can't care about that much now. He must solve the basilisk's trouble as soon as possible.
