I'm a Master in India

Chapter 54 The slide that you must never touch!

Xiangtu's Indian hostel was in the Colaba district. When Ron arrived, he was leaning in the lobby, looking around.

"Wow, Ron! So glad to see you!" He gritted his teeth, his eyes showing tension, his thin face serious with worry.

"What's going on?" Ron walked over quickly.

"There's trouble ahead, come with me!"

He led Ron and Anand upstairs to a room facing the main corridor, with a waiter guarding the door.

Xiangtu didn't speak, he just waved his hand, and only after the waiter left did he walk over and knock on the door.

A girl's vague response came from inside the room, sounding like German.

After waiting a few seconds, the girl came to open the door. She looked flustered, her clothes slung over her shoulder, exposing a large area of skin.

Ron glanced at her. Her hair was disheveled, with fluff and a pasty substance like food on it.

Judging from the ribs visible under her thin nightgown, the girl's health was worrying, which was also evidenced by the dazed, almost sleepy expression on her face.

But even though she was very impatient, she still gestured for Ron and the others to come into the room with a pleading look and a hint of numbness and fear.

A young man was lying on the bed, limbs sprawled out, one leg hanging off the side. He was naked from the waist up, the zipper of his pants was open, and he hadn't had time to take off the boots on one foot.

He looked about twenty-seven or eight years old, with no rise or fall of his chest, no pulse, no heartbeat, no breathing.

"Is he dead, Ron?" Xiangtu's face looked terrible.

Ron didn't speak. He walked over and flipped open the man's eyelids. His pupils had already constricted to pinpoints.

This symptom is common in people who have overdosed on marijuana. Obviously, drug addiction had plunged his body into a dark abyss, and his face was as blue as the winter dawn sky.

"Drag him onto the bed and put a sheet behind his neck," Ron instructed Anand to start working.

"Losing business, Ron," Xiangtu said briefly, standing behind the door, leaning against it, preventing anyone else from entering.

Ron didn't have time to chat with him. He climbed onto the bed, knelt beside the man, and began to perform CPR.

Although this was the first time he had encountered such a situation, Ron was not unfamiliar with it. When he saw marijuana everywhere in India, he realized this day would come.

Ron had previously read many emergency manuals, the Indian version, which included how to deal with this situation.

"Blow air into his mouth!" Ron ordered.

"What?" Anand was stunned.

"Blow air!" Ron kept compressing the man's heart to restore its beating.

"But isn't he a man?" Anand shook his head wildly.

"Stop talking nonsense, hurry up and blow!" Xiangtu cursed from behind.

"Afterwards, you have to find me a girl to relax me!"

"Okay!" Xiangtu agreed.

With Anand constantly pumping air into the man's lungs, and Ron pressing for more than ten minutes, his chest rumbled deep inside, and then he began to cough.

Ron lay down and listened carefully to see if he was able to breathe on his own.

The sound was very light, his breathing was slow, and then it became even slower. Then, after a hollow sigh, he stopped breathing.

"Ron..." Xiangtu's face was terribly dark.

Ron didn't stop, he continued the CPR. It was very strenuous, but he couldn't stop, only in this way could he drag the man's limp body out of the long abyss.

During his rescue, the girl fainted twice. Xiangtu slapped her, shook her awake, and after some questioning, learned that the two were in a relationship.

Half an hour later, the coughing sound appeared again. After listening, Ron got off the bed tiredly.

"Give him some water, preferably hot water."

"Saints be praised!" Xiangtu prayed with his hands clasped together.

"Mother F*ck, who woke me up?" After a series of coughs, the man on the bed slowly opened his eyes.

He was very unhappy, thinking that Ron and the others had ruined his dream in paradise.

Anand grabbed his collar and slapped him twice.

Completely disregarding the weak man who had just stepped back from the brink of death.

Ron didn't want to stay in this room. He and Anand were covered in sweat, their shirts as wet as if they had been caught in a downpour on the streets during the rainy season.

After Xiangtu warned the German couple a few words, he followed Ron and the others out the door.

"Talk about it, what's going on?" Ron took a bottle of Indian cola from the waiter.

"Just like you saw, they took their fun too far," Xiangtu said with a gloomy face.

"That doesn't look like marijuana," Ron deduced. "Marijuana doesn't have that kind of effect."

Anand and Xiangtu exchanged glances and said nothing.

"Wait, are they our guests?" Ron suddenly reacted.

"They used to be," Anand explained, "They came to Mumbai two weeks ago, but our contract only lasted for a week. You know, some people kick us away after they get familiar."

"But they haven't moved out because they can't find a cheaper hotel," Xiangtu added.

"What about those 'fun'? Were they also introduced by our people?" Ron continued to ask.

"Uh, Ron, you know, there's this kind of business all over the streets of Mumbai. Every time a deal is made, the guests and street vendors give us some kickbacks, which are very generous."

"Listen, Anand. I don't care if you find other fun for the guests, but not marijuana, especially the white stuff, absolutely not! People will die!"

"OK! OK!" Anand repeatedly shook his head, "We didn't participate in it, we just revealed some information to them and charged an information fee."

"Emphasize it again to the people below, anyone who does this kind of business will be kicked out of our territory!"

Although Ron often wandered in the gray area, there was one thing he would never touch, that thing would cause endless harm.

"Xiangtu, that German couple just now..."

"I know, I'll kick them out this afternoon."

On this point, Xiangtu and Ron's views were surprisingly consistent. They both knew that one day, this couple would disappear in some corner of the city.

Each time they fall into the abyss, it is deeper than the previous time. Therefore, it is even more difficult to pull them up.

"Ron, no matter what, I owe you a favor," Xiangtu shook his neck with lingering fear.

It was troublesome for people to die in the hotel, especially foreigners. It would cost him a lot of money to bribe those policemen to suppress the matter.

That's why Xiangtu just said it was a losing business, he didn't like it.

"Save the thanks for later, find me a clean room first, I need to take a shower."

Sweat slowly evaporated, Ron couldn't stand the sticky feeling, this damn weather in Mumbai was only suitable for lying under a tree and not moving.

When he came out of the Indian hostel again, he was completely refreshed, including the clothes on his body.

This was newly bought by Xiangtu, and Ron politely accepted his little gesture.

"Ron, remember to go to the slums the day after tomorrow, what we talked about," Anand trotted over.

"Got it, do I need to bring anything?"

"No, no, you just need to come."

Ron rolled his eyes, it was that sentence again.
