I Am the Swarm

The book The Swarm has been written one after another for a year, and now it is finally finished.

This book is Quantum's first full-length novel. At the beginning, I wrote a book about survival in the last days, but I didn't sign a contract. Later, Qidian opened a science fiction essay call, so I cut that book and wrote the swarm.

But as a newcomer, writing impulsively to challenge the swarm is really a little overwhelmed. It is too difficult to write about this subject more realistically, especially if you want to touch science fiction.

Originally, the bug swarm should have had at least two books as a base, but it was too rash to start, resulting in poor writing skills. I had some ideas in my mind, and when they fell into the document, I often didn’t know how to express them. The vastness of the starry sky, billions of bugs The confrontation between the swarm and the mechanical battleship is boring.

Coupled with insufficient knowledge reserves and overloaded pig brains, although I tried my best to read some materials, I still couldn't imagine the scene of a battle in a higher civilization. It is estimated that if it continues to be written, it will still be bombarded by various cannonballs, and everyone does not like to watch it, so it will be over by the end of the year.

I originally planned to never touch science fiction again, and write an urban or fantasy one in my next book. But in the new year, Qidian opened another science fiction essay call.

Although the level is limited and you won't get any awards, the focus is on participation. In an instant, Quantum felt that he was doing well again. So, these days, take advantage of the Chinese New Year, draw up an outline, recharge some batteries, and then fight science fiction again.
