Chapter 744: I Am too Rich for You

“Really?” Luosang raised her head, looking at Nian Junting with watery eyes. “Junting, she said. “You have helped me so much. You’re going to clear my father’s name, and you’re going to find my mother for me, but I never did anything for you…”

“You’re going to have my baby, and you’re here with me. These are important to me.” Nian Junting gently kissed her on the forehead.

Before, he never thought this much.

Only until he fell in love with Luosang, did he learn that as a man, there was one thing he must never do, make his woman sad or cry.

Luosang slightly moved her lips. Nian Junting then pressed his lips against hers until she stopped trying to talk. Nian Junting then said with a deep voice, “Luo, don’t thank me. “But… I think my mom is pretty powerful, and rich. Otherwise, Yi Jingxi wouldn’t keep her away from me.” Luosang abruptly tilted her head and continued, “I remember my mom being a strong-minded person. What if she doesn’t like you?”

Nian Junting eyes widened. “How can it be possible? I’ll be a perfect son-in-law! If she doesn’t want me, who else would she like?”

Luosang clicked her tongue and said, “Maybe she’ll think that your family isn’t rich enough.”

Nian Junting didn’t know how to respond.

Was she serious? Could anyone in the world possibly think that his family wasn’t rich enough?

“Hm, what should I do?” Seeing the stunned look in Nian Junting’s face, Luosang sighed and said, “It would be troublesome if my mother thought that your family isn’t rich enough and that I’m too rich for you.”

“Do you want me to spank you?” Nian Junting said. He found her words both funny and annoying. He raised her hip and gently patted it twice. After that, he still unsatisfied, so he gave it two kisses.

“Bad boy!” The red-faced Luosang slapped him, while nervously glancing at the living room. Thankfully, Lu Kang had not seen.

“Luo, don’t worry. There’s no reason for your mother to not like a perfect son-in-law like me.” Nian Junting lifted her, saying, “Get rid of those unnecessary thoughts. Let’s go and have some lunch. Don’t starve our little princess.”

“Hm,” Luosang said as she put her arms around his neck as he carried her to the VIP room.

Yi Jingxi didn’t show up at lunch.

After three rounds of drinking, Nian Junting and Luosang sat in the car and had a tour in the film and television base. When they came back, they learned that Yi Jingxi left that afternoon.

Without Yi Jingxi, Luosang had so much fun at the base.

The next day, the couple flew back to Xia City.

After the two-day trip, Luosang was exhausted. She didn’t go to school that afternoon but went straight to her apartment to sleep and didn’t wake up until she heard someone knock on the door.

Luosang opened the door, seeing Nian Xi standing outside.

Nian Xi walked in, took off her police cap and said, “Thankfully, you’re at home. I came here to have some dinner.”
