Nian Junting sped to Nian Qingyun’s office building. After notifying the security guard, he barged into his father’s office without waiting for the secretary to go fetch him.

Nian Qingyun was still at the door seeing his superiors out. When he saw Nian Junting walk towards him, his face was dark with anger. “Who said you could barge in here without permission? You don’t think I will ask the guards to arrest you?”

“Old Nian, don’t hold it against your own son,” one of his old colleagues said with a light chuckle. “Junting has done remarkably well since he left the army. I’ve asked my grandsons to look up to him as their role model.”

“What kind of role model is he? He doesn’t obey rules…” Before he could finish, Nian Junting had already pulled him into the office and shut the door with a loud bang.

“Nian Junting, aren’t you being a little brazen?” Nian Qingyun was furious with his son’s impudent behavior.

Nian Junting looked at him harshly. “My manners and teachings all went out the window when you decided to threaten my girlfriend.”

“Me…? I threatened your girlfriend? Are you talking about Xu Luosang?” Nian Qingyun was astounded by the sudden accusation.

No normal woman would ever want to break up with me.” Nian Junting gave him a smirk. “You’re looking for all sorts of ways to break us apart, to force me to marry Leng Shuangwei. You want to be in-laws with Jiang Qifei. You still have delusions for her!”

Nian Qingyun clutched his chest. His whole body was shaking. He would definitely die of a heart attack because of his son. “When did I ever want to be in-laws with Jiang Qifei? After fighting with your mother since that time, I haven’t mentioned it at all. Even when Jiang Qifei came to talk to me, I didn’t agree to her requests.”

Nian Qingyun sighed. “I’m telling you, you’re narcissistic, foul-tempered, arrogant, and spoiled. I can’t believe you make your woman peel prawns for you.
