I finally finished writing this long and smelly book.

2.89 million words.

You won’t see it on the shelves anyway.

There is almost no story, just like a running account. It is full of encyclopedias and information, and it is not interesting at all.

There are few redeeming qualities.

In the end, the only reason that made me insist on finishing this book was that I wanted to write about the history of game development that I know, back to the era of PS2 and motion sensing, and about WOW, a game that influenced the MMORPG game genre. The game comes out and then it's all over.

Many people have said that from the PS2 era until now, games have always been continuously improved in resolution and AI.

What will games of the future look like?

Although this book is terrible, I still admire myself. When I first wrote it, I didn’t think I could finish it.

Excluding the last chapter, I continued to write this book for 522 days. Starting from August 28, 2014, to January 31, 2016, I stopped updating for 2 days. On average, I updated more than 5,500 words per day, which may be a lot.
