He just so happened to have some documents that he planned to discuss with Jian Yiling. And thus, Li Zhuojia brought them along today.

Jian Yiling took the documents from Li Zhuojia’s hands before she began to have a quiet discussion with him.

It appeared as though the two people were very familiar with each other.

In fact, it even seemed as though Li Zhuojia’s attitude towards Jian Yiling was quite respectful.

The seemingly normal conversation between these two individuals was shocking to everyone else.

Lahaisen Hospital became world-renowned in the past two years. This institution was recognized to have the most advanced medical technology in the world.

And thus, Lahaisen Hospital was considered to be at a much higher level than that of the Huiling Medical Research Institution.

Originally, everyone assumed that Jian Yiling’s future prospects were dashed. Instead, somehow, she turned the tides around and ended up at an even better institution.

Professor Xu was so surprised that he couldn’t speak for quite some time. After a long while, he finally came back to his sense. He asked Cheng Yi who was beside him:

“Cheng Yi, am I hallucinating? Does that spot belong to Lahaisen Hospital?”

Cheng Yi gave an affirmative answer: “Yep, that spot belongs to Lahaisen Hospital. Yiling is representing Lahaisen Hospital for this conference.”

Professor Xu: “Then… Yiling and Lahaisen Hospital… I…”

Cheng Yi also took some time to digest this information: “I mean, she’s incredibly talented in the first place. Therefore, it’s totally reasonable for Lahaisen Hospital to hire her. I guess, our institution just doesn’t deserve this kind of talent.”

Cheng Yi did not have the ability to simply leave his job like Luo Xiuen.

However, in his heart, he was on Jian Yiling’s side.

Upon hearing this, Professor Xu let out a long sigh: “Ahhh, you’re right.”
