“And what if they’re a good person?” Luo Xiuen continued to ask.

“I would wish her good luck,” Jian Yiling replied.

“Wish… Wish her good luck?” Luo Xiuen repeated. She paused for a moment before she asked again: “What if she’s usually a good person but she does a bad thing once in a while?”

“What bad thing?”

“For example… She bullied your brother.”

“How did she bully my brother?”

When it came to these things, Jian Yiling needed more details to analyze the situation. Her judgment would depend on the extent of the matter.

As Luo Xiuen said things in a general manner, Jian Yiling could not give an accurate answer.

“Ahh, about the bullying… Actually, let’s not look too much into the situation. It’s just that she bullied… Your brother…” Luo Xiuen said. By now, Luo Xiuen was almost stuttering.

How could she explain the situation to her darling!

On the other hand, Jian Yumin had an upset expression on his face.

This made his own brother, Jian Yujie incredibly worried.

“Brother… What happened?” Jian Yujie asked with a confused expression on his face.

It seemed as though something happened to his brother…

“Oh right, today I’m going to a dessert shop with Yiling. Do you want to come as well?”

After the surgery, Jian Yiling brought Luo Xiuen along with her. On the other hand, Jian Yujie brought Jian Yumin along.

The four of them appeared together at a dessert shop.

As soon as Luo Xiuen saw Jian Yumin, she felt like dying.

Jian Yumin was still frowning. He was still upset about what happened in the morning.

However, Jian Yujie and Jian Yiling did not notice the expressions of the other two people. Instead, they concentrated on trying out different desserts and sweets.

Because of the limited space in her stomach, Jian Yiling could only try out a limited number of desserts. Therefore, every time Jian Yujie accompanied Jian Yiling, he wanted to make sure that she could eat more of what she liked.

“Yiling, try this one! It’s delicious. It’s not overly sweet!”

Jian Yiling went to try the dessert that was recommended by Jian Yujie.

Then, Jian Yujie added: “This one is good as well. It’s sweet yet a bit sour at the same time.”

“Mhmm.”

“Ahh, this one doesn’t taste that great! It’s a bit too sweet!”

“Mhmm.”

And thus, Jian Yiling avoided that dessert.

On the other hand, Luo Xiuen lowered her head for the entire time.

Suddenly, Jian Yumin asked: “Yujie, Yiling, do you think people should be responsible for what they have done? Isn’t it bad if a person doesn’t take responsibility for his or her actions?”

“Yeah,” Jian Yujie replied. He had no idea what Jian Yumin was talking about. However, he expressed his point of view to Jian Yumin’s question.

“Mhmm,” Jian Yiling said as well.

“No, no,” Luo Xiuen hurriedly defended herself. “No one is a saint. Everyone makes mistakes. If you make a mistake accidentally and realize your mistake, you should still be forgiven, right?”
