“Okay, I agree.” Lena nodded. “Let’s set off now.”

They packed their things and continued towards their destination. Under the moonlight, the river flowed gently, reflecting their silhouettes. Along the way, they carefully avoided potential traps and obstacles, remaining vigilant. However, just as they rounded a bend, a dense forest suddenly appeared ahead, with several abandoned wooden cabins faintly visible.

“There’s a cabin there,” Aiden said in a low voice. “I don’t know what’s inside, but we can go in and take a look. Maybe we can find some useful supplies.”

“Alright, let’s go in and check things out.” Su Ting nodded, signaling everyone to slow down and approach the wooden house.

They quietly entered the cabin and found it filled with old furniture and tattered clothes, with some food cans and tools scattered in the corner. Kevin and Aiden quickly searched the area and found some usable items, which they put in their backpacks.

“There’s food and water here,” Kevin said in a low voice, “enough for our journey ahead.”

“Very good,” Su Ting said approvingly, “but we can’t stay here too long, let’s leave quickly.”

Just as they were about to leave, they suddenly heard footsteps outside the door. Everyone immediately became alert, drawing their weapons and preparing to deal with any potential danger. Su Ting gently opened the door a crack and peeked out, only to see several people dressed in black walking towards the wooden house.

"It's a hostile force!" Su Ting whispered. "Quickly, we retreat from the rear!"

“Wait,” Lena pulled Su Ting back, “let’s hear what they have to say first.”

The group of people outside stopped. One of them, dressed in black, said, "We've heard there's been some new activity in Renault City. We need to get back and report quickly."

Chapter 918 Don't Get Discovered

“Yes, the boss will be very happy,” another man in black chimed in.

"Reno City? They know about Reno City?" Lena said in surprise. "Perhaps we can use this opportunity to sneak in with them."

“That’s a good idea.” Su Ting thought for a moment and nodded in agreement. “We’ll follow them, but we need to keep a safe distance and not be discovered.”

They quietly followed the men in black, keeping a short distance behind. In the darkness, several figures moved through the woods, occasionally stopping to exchange a few words, clearly unaware they were being followed. Su Ting and his teammates cautiously followed behind, trying to make as little noise as possible.

“If we can get into Reno City smoothly, we might find more useful information,” Kevin said in a low voice. “But we need to be careful; these guys don’t look like good guys either.”

“I know,” Su Ting said firmly, “as long as we stay vigilant, everything will be fine.”

They followed the men in black through groves of trees and over several small hills, finally coming into view of the city of Renault. The towering city walls stood majestically in the night. The city gates were tightly shut, and all was quiet; it seemed no one had noticed their arrival.

"We've arrived," Su Ting said in a low voice. "Let's find a place to hide and wait for our opportunity."

"Okay." Everyone nodded in agreement and found a secluded spot to hide. They waited quietly, their hearts filled with anticipation and nervousness.

"We will definitely succeed," Lena said softly, her eyes shining with determination.

“Of course,” Su Ting said firmly, “this is our common goal.”

"No matter what, we must complete the mission," Kevin said. "Go for it!"

“Let’s go,” Su Ting stood up, “Let’s face the new challenges together.”

"Alright!" everyone responded in unison, shouldered their backpacks again, and embarked on the final journey to Renault.

They moved silently through the darkness, their hearts filled with determination and hope. Su Ting led the way, occasionally turning back to signal everyone to maintain formation. Suddenly, Kevin stopped and gently patted Su Ting on the shoulder.

“Su Ting, listen,” Kevin said in a low voice.

Su Ting stopped and listened intently. A low murmur of conversation drifted from afar, indicating that someone was patrolling near the city gate.

“It’s the city guards,” Su Ting said in a low voice. “We need to be careful.”

Lena frowned: "What if they find us?"

“Don’t worry, I’ll try to avoid contact,” Su Ting replied. “But we need to find a way into the city quickly.”

Leah glanced at the map and said softly, "There's an abandoned path in the south of the city; we can try it."

“Then it’s settled.” Su Ting nodded in agreement. “We’ll follow that path.”

They carefully bypassed the patrolling city guards and proceeded along a hidden path. The path was almost invisible, obscured by weeds, but Su Ting, with his keen intuition, found the right direction. They moved forward silently until they saw a dilapidated wooden door, from which a faint light shone through the shadows.

“This should be the entrance you were talking about, Leah,” Suting said. “Let’s go in and take a look.”

Chapter 919 This place is really eerie

Aiden pushed open the door, and a dusty smell hit them. They entered a dark tunnel, with only a faint light ahead. Su Ting led the way, a short knife in his hand, cautiously moving forward.

"This place is really eerie," Lena whispered, following closely behind Su Ting.

"Don't be afraid, follow me," Su Ting comforted him. "We'll definitely find a way out."

They slowly made their way through the tunnel until they finally saw a glimmer of light. Su Ting cautiously peeked out and discovered a small courtyard with a back door leading to the city streets.

"We did it!" Kevin exclaimed excitedly. "What's next?"

“Let’s find a safe place first,” Su Ting said, “and then we’ll figure out how to gather intelligence.”

They crossed the courtyard and came to a narrow alley. It was quiet all around, with only a few dim streetlights flickering. Su Ting carefully observed the surroundings and decided to lead everyone to a secluded place to stay.

“There’s an abandoned warehouse over there,” Su Ting pointed to a building not far away. “We’ll hide there for now.”

They entered the warehouse and found it filled with broken furniture and miscellaneous items. Aiden lit a candle with a flint, its faint light illuminating the surrounding space. They put their backpacks on the ground, sat down together, and began to discuss their next plan.

“We’re in Reno now,” Kevin said, “but we need more intelligence before we can move.”

“I’ve heard of a place in town called ‘Shadow Tavern,’” Lena said. “There are a lot of wanderers and bounty hunters there; maybe we can find the information we need.”

“Good idea,” Su Ting nodded and said, “We’ll go there tomorrow and ask around.”

Leah leaned against the wall and closed her eyes to rest: "Let's rest in the warehouse tonight and make plans for tomorrow."

"Everyone's tired, let's get some rest," Su Ting said. "I'll take turns keeping watch to ensure safety."

Everyone nodded in agreement and found a corner to lie down. Aiden volunteered to be on the first watch, and Su Ting patted him on the shoulder to express his gratitude.

"You take a rest, I'll take care of things from behind," Su Ting said.

“Okay,” Aiden smiled, “Remember to call me.”

Night deepened, and the warehouse fell silent. Su Ting leaned against the wall, gazing into the darkness outside the door. He was filled with anticipation; he knew a new challenge was about to begin.

"Everything will be fine," Su Ting murmured to himself.

Suddenly, a faint sound of footsteps came from outside. Su Ting immediately became alert, stood up quietly, and walked to the door. He peeked through the crack in the door and saw several men in black walking towards the warehouse.

“Someone’s coming,” Su Ting said in a low voice. “Prepare for battle.”

Aiden and Kevin quickly stood up, drew their weapons, and Lena and Lia also got ready.

"Who is it?" Aiden asked in a low voice.

“I don’t know, but they don’t seem like good people,” Su Ting replied.

The men in black outside stopped, and one of them whispered, "This should be a good hiding place. Let's go in and take a look."

“Okay, go in and search,” another man in black chimed in.

"Should we make a move?" Lena asked nervously.

"Let's wait until they come in," Su Ting said calmly. "We'll take a good position and not let them gain any advantage."

Chapter 920 Who are you people?

The group of men tacitly dispersed, hiding in different corners and keeping a close watch on the door. The men in black outside pushed open the door and entered. The torches they carried illuminated the interior of the warehouse, but also revealed their positions.

Su Ting launched the first attack, leaping from behind and stabbing a man in black in the throat with his knife. At the same time, Aiden and Kevin also quickly moved in, subduing the other two men in black.

"Who are you?" a man in black asked loudly.

“That’s not important,” Su Ting said coldly. “What are you doing here?”

"We...we were just passing by," the man in black said somewhat flustered.

“Lying won’t do you any good,” Kevin threatened.

Suddenly, Lena noticed that one of them was holding a piece of paper. She quickly stepped forward and snatched it from him.

"What is this?" Lena asked curiously.

It was a map with many locations marked on it, along with some strange symbols.

“This is a secret map of Reno City,” the man in black said in a low voice. “Our mission is to protect it.”

“It seems we’ve obtained something of value,” Su Ting said. “This map will be very useful to us.”

“What should we do?” Lena asked.

“Tie them up first, then study this map carefully,” Su Ting said. “We need to figure out the secrets here as soon as possible.”

The group acted swiftly, tying up the man in black. Su Ting took out a map, spread it out on the table, and began to study it carefully.

“There are some strange markings here,” Kevin said, pointing to a spot on the map. “They probably indicate some important locations.”

“We need to act quickly,” Su Ting said. “Time waits for no one.”

"So where do we begin?" Lena asked.

“From here,” Su Ting pointed to a mark on the map, “this is the ‘Dark Temple,’ which is said to hold some important secrets.”

“Alright, let’s start here,” Aiden said. “Let’s work together.”

"No matter what, we must complete the mission," Lena said firmly. "Let's go."

"Let's go!" Su Ting shouted, and the group shouldered their backpacks and embarked on a new journey.
