Green Snake World.

Fahai, who was diligently practicing in Jinshan Temple, inadvertently caught a glimpse of this scene.

His originally serious face was now filled with astonishment; at this moment, the Yellow Wind Monster was exceptionally heroic.

Even though it was a rat demon, Fahai still held it in high regard!

"So the demon race has such benevolent demons... They can also subdue demons and bring blessings to all living beings..."

Fahai had always held the belief that humans and demons could not coexist, but the righteous actions of the Yellow Wind Monster made his deep-seated perception of the demon race waver.

No matter where you are, the distinction between good and evil does not lie in race, but in the choices you make in your heart.

Perhaps his extreme ideas have always been wrong!

The Yellow Wind Monster quelled the plague of the Fububac, and the king greatly respected him, appointing him as the royal advisor. Whether it was a major political matter or a minor issue concerning the people's livelihood, the king would always seek his opinion first.

At the suggestion of the Yellow Wind Monster, the king issued a decree to honor rats, and rat spirits from all around migrated to the city.

The eldest and third princes were very dissatisfied with this, resulting in the eldest prince being imprisoned and the third prince running away in anger.

[After an unknown amount of time, one day, the eldest prince waited in vain for his meal, but the prison door opened by itself, and the eldest prince walked out.]

But to everyone's surprise, the guards and ministers scurrying around outside were not respectable at all; they were all rats dressed in robes.

There was also a short, ugly mouse who called him by his father's name.

The eldest prince, thinking it must be an imposter, dodged the guards' swords and slashed at them. But then he inadvertently glanced at the bronze mirror beside the throne. In the mirror, there was no valiant general, but an enormous, fat rat. And not only him, but the entire nation's inhabitants had turned into rats!

However, by this time, the Yellow Wind Monster had already taken the Rat Spirit and the Rat Monster to Yellow Wind Ridge for cultivation.

[Later, the Yellow Wind Monster encountered the pilgrimage team and was defeated and subdued by Bodhisattva Lingji using the Wind-Fixing Pearl.]

Afterwards, the Golden Kingdom declined, and Yellow Wind Ridge turned into a desolate desert.

The Yellow Wind Monster returned to Yellow Wind Ridge once more, and the mountain spirits, including the king who had turned into a rat, all went to seek refuge with him.

...

When the people of the heavens saw the tragic state of the Quicksand Kingdom, where rats were everywhere and had all been transformed into humans, they couldn't help but gasp and feel a chill run down their spines.

"How could this be? Could it really be the work of the Yellow Wind Monster?"

"That's not right. The fact that the Rat King went to join the Yellow Wind Monster means that the Rat King and the Yellow Wind Monster never had any conflict. So it can only be the Buddhist sect. The Buddhist sect has the most motive for committing the crime."

"The feud between the Kingdom of Quicksand and Buddhism is profound, and there is only one truth!"

The gazes of the crowd seemed to pierce through the sky, locking onto the usually revered Bodhisattva Lingji, and seeds of suspicion quickly took root in their hearts.

The world of Journey to the West, Mount Ling.

Manjushri Bodhisattva clasped his hands together and, upon seeing this scene, was almost certain that it was the work of the Buddhist sect.

However, he didn't seem to care and calmly said:

"It is clear that the Kingdom of Quicksand was at fault first. Our Buddha is merciful and had the good intention of helping you, but you have been treated like this in return. This is the punishment."

The voice of Manjushri Bodhisattva echoed in the ears of all the Arhats.

The Arhats didn't think there was anything wrong with it.

"Yes, Buddha saved the people of the Shifting Sands from turmoil, yet the King of the Shifting Sands takes such actions!"

"That monster Fufeng didn't make these guys realize their mistake. Instead, some Yellow Wind Monster appeared and ruined our Buddhist sect's good deed!"

"The Flowing Sand Kingdom has brought this upon itself!"

...

The scene changes.

The Chosen One and the Yellow Wind Monster started fighting.

[And in the hands of the Yellow Wind Monster, there was also a Buddha head. If you looked closely, you would find that the Buddha head on the back of the Fubub was exactly the same as this one.]

"Where there are saints, there are thieves; where there are high mountains, there are deep abysses; where there is a vast difference between heaven and earth, there will be bloodshed; I cannot escape, and neither can you..."

[The Yellow Wind Monster uttered some cryptic words, clearly showing a change in his mind from before. However, the Chosen One had also become stronger, now on par with the Yellow Wind Monster, and the two fought evenly.]

Then the Yellow Wind Monster unleashed the Samadhi Divine Wind, instantly filling the sky with yellow sand. Even the Great Sage Equaling Heaven, Sun Wukong, feared this divine wind; how much more so would a person destined for greatness?

But as the chosen one pulled a pale blue bead from his robes, the raging wind seemed to lose its power, vanishing instantly, and the world returned to calm.

With the Wind-Stabilizing Pearl, the Chosen One was no longer afraid of the Yellow Wind Monster and quickly defeated it, causing the Buddha's head to roll to the side.

At this moment, a familiar figure appeared; this was none other than the headless monk from before, the Song God of Huangfeng Ridge.

"You wicked disciple! You stole Erlang Shen's inner cultivation technique, seized the Great Sage's innate talent, and even wanted your master's head, all for a moment of pleasure in this Yellow Wind Valley?"

The headless monk cast a slight spell, transforming his short frame into a figure several meters tall. He picked up the head from the ground and reattached it to the severed limbs. In an instant, he regained his original appearance, and his demeanor underwent a complete transformation.

 …

This person is none other than Lingji Bodhisattva of the Lesser Western Paradise!

"I was originally the guardian of this rat demon. After the Great Sage's fall, his six senses remained, scattered throughout the world. This thieving rat secretly found one of them, but because his own cultivation was leisurely, he found it difficult to refine. Thus, he harbored evil intentions. I was ambushed by him and even had my head cut off, which he used as a container to store my root and cultivate evil techniques. As a result, Yellow Wind Ridge was once again devastated. This is my sin..."

...

Now the truth is clear.

No matter how much Lingji Bodhisattva tried to argue, it all seemed so pale and powerless.

The crowd in the heavens immediately erupted in chaos, shouting and cursing.

"It really was Lingji Bodhisattva! This is so amazing! (Physics)"

"You're still pretending to be guilty? Your crimes are far more serious than anyone else's!"

"It's disgusting! Turning living people into rats, causing fathers and sons to kill each other—this is the hypocrisy of Buddhism!"

The crowd was filled with righteous indignation and began to deeply question the so-called "compassion" of Buddhism.

Such cruel acts are completely at odds with the image of Buddhism that they hold in their hearts.

In an instant, criticisms of Buddhism rose and fell.

The world of food gods, temples.

Stephen Chow was playing cards with the Eighteen Ocean's Eighteen when he witnessed this horrifying scene. He was so frightened that he lost his mind and his legs went weak.

He remembered that he had offended the temple abbot, and now he was filled with even greater fear, his voice trembling as he said:

"If even the Bodhisattvas in Buddhism are so heartless, I've offended the abbot, and I'll never be able to leave here in this lifetime."

I originally thought it was a compassionate Buddhist sect.

It now appears that this is the lowest point in the human body that is being shackled!

The entire temple seemed shrouded in a sinister mist, sending chills down his spine.

...

The World of Ji Gong.

Ji Gong, fanning himself with a tattered palm-leaf fan, slowly shook his head with a sorrowful expression, his eyes filled with disappointment, and muttered to himself:

"I never imagined that the Bodhisattva Lingji, whom I respected so much, would be such a vengeful person. It seems that not only ordinary people need to be converted, but even those of us who practice Buddhism need to be converted."

Ji Gong had always been committed to helping the world and firmly believed that all Buddhists should be compassionate. This scene made him waver in his long-held beliefs.

Even if the people of the Quicksand Kingdom were at fault, they should not be allowed to suffer such an undeserved calamity!

This is not in line with the Buddhist principle of compassion!

...

The world of Journey to the West, Huangfeng Ridge.

Lingji Bodhisattva and Sun Wukong together subdued the Yellow Wind Monster.

He initially saw that the Yellow Powder Monster was quite strong and planned to take the Yellow Wind Monster as his disciple.

Now, however, he witnessed the scene of his head being chopped off by the Yellow Wind Monster.

Lingji Pu's blood rushed to his head, and his anger flared up instantly.

His eyes widened, and he instantly became agitated!

"You beast! How dare you disrespect Buddhism! Die!"

The voice of Lingji Bodhisattva was like rolling thunder.

Whether it's true or not, the Yellow Wind Monster has ruined his reputation, reduced him to the song of Yellow Wind Ridge, and brought shame to Buddhism!

I will not rest until this demon is eliminated!

Lingji Bodhisattva's body surged with magical power, and his signature flying dragon staff instantly appeared in his hand.

With a single strike of his staff, he crushed the defenseless Yellow Wind Monster to death! Ding.
