“That’s so boring,” Benny said from the side. “Drinking needs an atmosphere.”

As they spoke, the group arrived at the bar and sat down in turn. Levi slammed her hand on the wooden bar and shouted, "Three whiskeys, on the rocks, and nothing else weird."

Then she asked Shen Ye and Okajima Rokuro, "What about you? What would you like to drink? Order whatever you like, it's on me."

Shen Ye wasn't very knowledgeable about foreign liquors and didn't like drinking them. He did want to order a cup of green tea, but they didn't have any. After thinking for a moment, he said, "I'll have whiskey on the rocks too."

“Me too,” Rokuro Okajima said, raising his hand.

“Very good, a wise choice.” Levi slammed her hand on the bar again: “Five whiskeys on the rocks.”

Soon, five glasses of whiskey with ice were placed in front of them.

Levi picked up her glass and downed it in one gulp with great gusto.

She let out a long breath, wiped her mouth with her sleeve, and exclaimed, "That's refreshing! On a hot day like this, we should drink something that makes us feel good."

Shen Ye took a small sip, savoring the unique flavor unlike that of baijiu, shook his head slightly, and then swallowed the wine.

“But aren’t you partners?” Okajima Rokuro asked.

“He is indeed a partner, and we’ve known each other for several years.” Benny swirled the wine in his glass. “But all I know about him is that he’s strong, knowledgeable, and a very strange person.”

“However, I’ve already decided to give up on getting to know him,” Benny continued.

"I see." Okajima Rokuro nodded, carefully examining the blond man before him, and suddenly asked, "By the way, you give me a different feeling than the others. What did you do before?"

“That’s more like it, let’s drink.” Levi joined in, clinked glasses with them, and then downed her drink in one gulp.

"Drink it all, don't act like a little woman." Levi touched her mouth without any regard for her image and complained when she saw that Shen Ye and Okajima Rokuro had only taken a small sip.

Shen Ye and Okajima Rokuro gave a wry smile and did as he was told.

Levi glanced at Okajima and pursed her lips: "Forget it, it's a waste to give it to him."

Just then, Dutch's voice came through: "Levi, are you alright?"

"I'm still alive!" Levi took another sip of her drink.

“Benny,” Dutch called out the name of another companion.

“Me too, Shen helped me,” Benny cried out, clutching her head as well.

"And what about Locke?"

“He’s fine, just a little emotionally unstable,” Shen Ye answered for Okajima Rokuro.

Chapter 62! A Stunning Performance

"That's alright, as long as the person is still alive," Dutch said, relieved.

"What do you mean 'just being alive'? What's going on? I finally graduated from university and haven't even been working for a few years, and now this has happened!" Okajima Rokuro cried out in despair, overwhelmed by Dutch's words, "Why is this happening? Why are we fighting like this? Isn't it better to just live a good life?"
