Ada went straight into the detention cell and found Ben Bertolucci lying on the floor, covered in blood, with an empty M1911 in his hand. But clearly, this classic old gun had not been able to keep him safe.

"What is that?" Ada was stunned by the sight. Even though she had received rigorous training, she could hardly bear it and watched helplessly as the large worm darted out of the detention center.

Shen Ye was mentally prepared. Although he was momentarily distracted, he quickly recovered and, before the bug could get far, shot it, turning it into a bloody mess.

"What the hell is this thing?" Ada took a deep breath, forcing herself to calm down, and then asked.

Shen Ye glanced at the documents in her hand and said, "Didn't I give you the information? Take a look; maybe it contains what we want to know."

Ada nodded blankly and began flipping through the documents in her hands...

After quickly reading through the document, a hint of surprise flashed in Ada's eyes. The document actually mentioned exactly what she was looking for.

"The G virus, and William, it seems my luck has improved too."

She looked at Shen Ye and couldn't help but think, "It seems he's my lucky star."

However, she was in a dilemma, since her purpose in entering Raccoon City was not pure.

"If he knew the truth, would he forgive me?"

On a corridor leading to the chief's office, the two unexpectedly encountered a blonde little girl.

However, the blonde girl didn't ask them for help; upon seeing them, she actually turned and ran away.

Shen Ye immediately recognized the blonde girl as Sherry Birkin, the daughter of William Birkin, the genius who developed the G-virus.

Without time to explain to Ada, Shen Ye quickly chased after her.

Ada didn't want to cause any trouble, but when she saw Shen Ye chasing after him, she followed him.

The little girl ran very fast, darting around the police station. The two men lost sight of her for a moment.

"You know each other?" Ada asked, but unlike Leon, she didn't put her gun away and kept it pointed at Leon's head.

Shen Ye nodded: "His name is Leon, a police officer in Raccoon City, and he's my friend."

"Friends?"

Ada narrowed her eyes slightly, then put away her pistol, walked to Shen Ye's side, crossed her arms, and sized up the parted-haired white young man in front of her.

Shen Ye patted her shoulder, signaling her not to be nervous, and then asked, "Leon, where's Claire? Aren't you with her?"

“I got separated from her.” Lyon said regretfully when he heard Shen Ye mention Claire.

"Shortly after we entered the police station, we encountered a monster wearing a military overcoat that we couldn't kill no matter how hard we tried. On the way out, we got separated."

He then pointed to the walkie-talkie on his body and said:

“At first I could still contact her with this thing, but then she said she found a secret passage in the director’s office and asked me to come over. But after I got here, I lost contact with her.”
