“Let’s join in.” The woman named Na Yao raised her glass and then nudged her youngest companion with her elbow: “Polco, you join in too.”

The boy named Polco nodded and raised his glass to clink with theirs.

After finishing his drink, Billy casually wiped his mouth, then turned and called out to the bar, "Four more beers, please."

"Okay, please wait a moment." Tifa responded, and while pouring the wine, she said to Shen Ye, who was somewhat curious, "See them? They are from the Avalanche Main Guild, but Barrett doesn't like them. He never gives them a friendly look whenever he sees them."

"Then why are they drinking here?" Alice asked, voicing Shen Ye's question.

“Although Barrett has been fired, it doesn’t affect us at all; we’re not enemies,” Tifa said with a smile, then carried the wine on a tray over.

“Your drinks!” Tifa placed the beer in front of them.

The man named Ji Jie was the middleman who handled communication between the Wutai Provisional Government and the Avalanche Council. When Billy brought it up, he frowned and said, "We did make contact, but that was yesterday during the day. I only know they're in a village near Midgar. But as you know, after Barrett made such a big commotion, Shinra has intensified its search of us. I heard someone asking about the avalanche this morning. It seems to be people from Kuruneo in the Sixth District. They’re Shinra’s dogs in the slums.”

"Miss Tifa, may I ask you something?" Billy called out as soon as he sat down, while glancing at Alice who was chatting with Shen Ye. He had been here for drinks many times, but this was the first time he had seen her.

“Ask away,” Tifa nodded.

"Excuse me, where is that mercenary called the Midgar City Hunter? I'd like to hire him for something," Billy said. "Of course, if he's busy right now, then forget it."

"Don't worry, he has time now," Tifa said, looking at Shen Ye. "See, business is coming in."

"Him?" Billy paused, then turned to look at Shen Ye. "You're the Midgar City Hunter?"

"Where to?" Shen Ye was also taken aback. Picking someone up? It sounded like they were going out of the city!

“A village outside Midgar,” Billy replied. “That shouldn’t be too difficult, should it?”

Shen Ye shook his head, but before he could speak, Alice said, "Leave the city? No way."

"Huh?" Billy looked at Alice, puzzled. "Why?"
