“Someone must be helping us.” Shen Ye glanced around and thought that Scarlett must have tampered with this place. After all, as the head of the weapons department, they were responsible for manufacturing all the weapons and equipment of the Shinra Corporation.

“That won’t do. The price has already been agreed upon and can’t be changed,” Shen Ye said to Barrett, then followed Claude.

“Yes, Shen is right, Barrett, we must be people of integrity!” Jesse said in a very serious tone.

"See that, Heidegger? Our automatic defense system actually let the enemy go. Why do you think that is?" The Shinra president interlaced his fingers, resting them on his chin, his eyes still fixed on the surveillance video.

Although his tone was calm and his aged face was expressionless, Heidegger, who came back in to report to him, still broke out in a cold sweat.

As the head of security for Shinra Corporation, he bears the greatest responsibility now that the Mako Reactor has been hacked but the automatic defense system has failed.

However, he quickly found a way to share his responsibilities.

“Mr. President, perhaps there’s a minor problem with the defense system. I think we should have Scarlett take some people to check it out.”

“Scarlett is busy with other things lately, don’t bother her.” How could the Shinra president not know what Heidegger was thinking? A cold smile immediately appeared on his lips.
