Just as Tifa went inside, Alice came over with a piece of clothing.

"Shen, where is she?" Alice asked casually when she didn't see Tifa.

"She's changing clothes; she said she wanted to try them on for me," Shen Ye said.

Alice frowned immediately, thinking that Tifa had beaten her to it. So she held up the clothes in her hand and asked Shen Ye, "How is it?"

"Beautiful!" Shen Ye nodded again.

"That's good. I'll go change now." After Shen Ye nodded, Alice couldn't wait to go into another changing room.

Before long, Tifa came out of the changing room first and walked slowly to Shen Ye.

Unlike Tifa's alluring outfit, Alice chose a sleeveless white dress that only revealed her arms and below her knees. Combined with her pure and serene face, she looked somewhat holy.

Just then, Alice and Tifa's angry voices rang out behind Shen Ye.

Hearing their voices, Shen Ye froze. He turned around and saw Alice and Tifa standing with their hands on their hips, glaring angrily at him.

"Let me explain." Shen Ye forcefully broke free from Scarlett's grasp, pushed her away, and said.

“Explain what? We all saw it, you were hugging another woman…” Alice stopped mid-sentence, stunned. As a native of Midgar, how could she not recognize Scarlett?

Tifa, who was next to her, also recognized Scarlett and was taken aback for a moment.

Then, the two women became even angrier, almost as if they were thinking in unison: it's one thing to hug and cuddle with a woman, but to actually find a Shinra woman, and a Shinra high-ranking official at that, Scarlett.

The two angry women immediately walked to Shen Ye's side, each grabbing one of his arms, and then glared coldly at Scarlett.

Seeing this, Shen Ye couldn't stand it any longer and shouted, "Enough!"

His shout made the three women tremble at the same time, and then they all looked at him with displeasure.

Shen Ye pinched the bridge of his nose and said, "There are outsiders watching. If you don't mind the embarrassment, you can continue."

The three women then noticed that quite a few people were secretly watching them. Fortunately, since it wasn't yet time to leave work, they weren't surrounded by layers of onlookers.

Even so, it was still enough to make them suffer.

Alice said somewhat flusteredly, "Why don't we leave first?"

Tifa nodded, feeling a little embarrassed.

"Where are we going? Didn't we say we were going to buy underwear? Let's go inside," Shen Ye said with a light snort.

Then, he pulled his arms out of Alice and Tifa's arms, turned around, and walked into the lingerie store.

Alice and Tifa exchanged a glance, thinking Shen Ye was angry. Just as they were about to follow him inside, Scarlett rushed in ahead of them.

"What are you doing?" Alice asked, displeased, as Scarlett entered.

“What else could I do but buy underwear, of course!” Scarlett glanced at Alice, then her gaze fell on Alice’s chest, a hint of disdain flashing in her eyes. But when she looked at Tifa, the disdain turned into wariness.

“I’ve met my match.”

Scarlett thought to himself as he looked at Tifa, whose figure was no less impressive than his own.

"Buying underwear? I bet you're up to something, aren't you? Shinra's lackey," Tifa said bluntly, clearly harboring deep hatred for Shinra.

“Call me whatever you want, but I do have ulterior motives; I’m pursuing my true love.” Scarlett said nonchalantly.

“True love? Are you kidding me? Do Shinra people even have feelings like love?” Alice retorted. Shinra’s actions over the years made her completely disbelieve Scarlett’s words.
