"Armor protection!"

"Boom--!"

A loud bang exploded overhead.

The two, who had expected to be smashed into mincemeat, slowly opened their eyes and saw a semi-transparent spherical shield enveloping them.

Hermione's wand pointed upwards, emitting waves of energy.

The giant stick was pressed against the edge of the shield, and no matter how hard it tried, it could not advance an inch. The troll's simple brain seemed unable to understand why its movements were being blocked.

"Humph!"

Hermione gave a low, cold laugh.

Enraged by the weak human's disregard, the giant roared and raised its club once more.

"Leviosa!"

The spell took effect, and the club instantly left the monster's hand, landing on its head.

Hermione waved her wand as if she were playing Quidditch.

"Peng!"

As she waved her wand, the giant club in mid-air seemed to be under her control, making the same movement in sync, and slammed it heavily onto the troll's head.

Hermione swung her wand horizontally again, the club swung in a wide arc, and slammed it into the troll's temple.

I spent a month as a batsman, and all the skills I have are now put to good use.

"Peng!"

one more time.

"Peng!"

One more time.

"Peng!"

"Peng!"

"Peng!"

After a relentless barrage of attacks, the giant monster collapsed to the ground, blood streaming from its seven orifices, motionless.

He was beaten to death with sticks.

Harry and Ron huddled together, trembling with fear, afraid that Hermione might get carried away and accidentally hit them with her stick as well.

Putting away her wand, Hermione pulled a syringe from her pocket and, with her back to the two, plunged it into the troll's body.

As blood was drawn out, the syringe gradually faded and disappeared.

Well, it was worth the trip.

Hermione felt delighted as she looked at the spellbook in her mind.

Just as she was about to say something to the two of them, a flurry of footsteps came from behind her.

Professor McGonagall was seen rushing over with the teachers.

Chapter 25 Forbidden Forest

Seeing that Hermione and the others were alright, Professor McGonagall breathed a sigh of relief, then looked ahead.

The scene was a mess, and when she saw the giant, mushy corpse, her pupils suddenly contracted.

Snape and Quirrell behind him also looked grave.

"Can anyone tell me what's going on?"

Professor McGonagall looked at the three of them.

Hermione was about to speak when Ron suddenly said, "It was me. I wanted to see what a troll looks like, so I dragged the two of them here."

Hermione was stunned for a moment.

Seeing Ron's look, Harry chimed in, "Yeah, yeah... that's it."

"And what about the troll's corpse?" Snape discovered the blind spot.

The giant club that once belonged to the troll was stained with blood, clearly indicating that it had died from its own weapon.

Harry and Ron exchanged a glance, then both looked at Hermione.

They really couldn't explain it.

“I did it,” Hermione said succinctly.

Snape scoffed, "You're just a freshman, how could you possibly have that ability? You'd better tell the truth, and maybe we can get some points deducted from Gryffindor."

Hermione shrugged, raised her hand, and whispered the spell.

The massive club, as thick as a man, slowly floated into the air, then, under Hermione's control, it nimbly swung left and right, seemingly mocking Snape's earlier words.

Snape's face darkened, but he said nothing more.

Professor McGonagall looked at Hermione in surprise.

But the next second, her face darkened, and she said coldly, "It was a very foolish thing to do. I hope you know how lucky you are, especially Weasley and Mr. Porter. You know how serious the consequences would have been if Miss Granger hadn't been there."

Then he looked at Hermione and said, "And you, Miss Granger, I thought you always knew what you were doing, but I didn't expect you to break the rules with them this time."

"You three, each of you deduct five points from Gryffindor!"

Professor McGonagall was truly angry this time. How could a few first-year students be so reckless and risk their lives?

“Furthermore,” she added, “Miss Granger killed the troll, ensuring the safety of the other Hogwarts students and demonstrating a high level of magical ability. Ten points for Gryffindor!”

I knew it.

Hermione kept rolling her eyes inwardly.

As expected, Professor McGonagall still favors Gryffindor.

"But as punishment for violating school rules, the three of you, along with Hagrid, will..."

Before McGonagall could finish speaking, she saw the administrator, Filch, grabbing someone and walking towards them.

Filch threw Malfoy to the ground and yelled, "This guy was hiding nearby, sneaking around here, and I caught him red-handed."

Good heavens, it seems Malfoy saw Harry had left the group and wanted to cause him some trouble, so he secretly followed him.

Hermione looked at Malfoy's dejected face and thought to herself.

“Looks like another one has broken the rules and been loitering outside. Slytherin loses five points, and the four of you are punished by having to help Hagrid tonight,” McGonagall said.

Malfoy was devastated, while Harry remarked that it wasn't the first time and he was used to it.

Hermione didn't care; let them deduct as they pleased. Dumbledore would always find a way to add it back no matter what.

Does she have to work like a primary school student in her previous life, desperately trying to earn red flowers?

……

On her way to find Hagrid, ignoring Malfoy and Harry's bickering, Hermione looked at the spellbook.

Just like with [Wonderful Items], collecting the blood of [Fantastic Creatures] will unlock the corresponding illustration in the Pokédex. This is the reason she made this special trip today. It is also one of the few legitimate opportunities to come into contact with magical creatures at Hogwarts recently, so she naturally wouldn't miss it.

What surprised her even more was that she could use the blood of magical creatures to modify similar creatures, turning them into creatures with magical attributes as well.

Another thing that surprised Hermione was that killing the troll yielded 10 points of soul energy in one go.

Does this mean that the higher the quality of the souls harvested, the more energy is generated?

Just as Hermione was thinking, Ron quietly crept over.

“That… Hermione…”

"Ok?"

"Look, I've taken the blame for you today, so can you promise me one thing..."

Seeing Ron's hesitant manner, Hermione immediately became alert.

Are you going to confess your feelings?

She knew that the original owner of this body and Ron were a couple.

But now she is Hermione, and she cannot accept this at all.
