The Return to Hogwarts

"He is Amosta Blaine, a quirky nerd."
"A nerdy guy with a strange personality?"
With her long, light blonde hair and delicate features, Filoa moved her slender eyebrows.
“That’s it,” Prian chuckled, puffing out his cheeks. “I heard from Haytham of Ravenclaw that every Saturday morning he would see Blaine sitting in the corner of the reading area at the library, with a huge pile of books in front of him. He didn’t talk to anyone and seemed to be very interested in studying, but his grades were much worse than Charlie’s brother’s. I guess it’s because he’s not very bright.”
Filoa chuckled, leaning on her light wheel 1700 as she snuggled closer to Prien's embrace.
“Perhaps we should go back to the castle and call a professor over, honey, we can’t just watch him curse a dead old man with evil dark magic, can we?”
“That’s not a good idea, Philoya.”
Prien's small eyes gleamed with amusement as he rejected his girlfriend's suggestion without hesitation. "Charlie and the others are still playing hide-and-seek with that giant spider in the Forbidden Forest. If we call the professor over, they'll all be exposed."
"Charlie said his brother Bill is the duty officer tonight. We can go and inform him. I don't think Bill would betray his own brother."
Filoa blinked and suggested again.
“That’s a good suggestion, Filoa,” Prien said with a mischievous grin, glancing at Amosta’s slender back as he looked at her on the bluestone.
“However, I have a more interesting way to punish this evil wizard. Come on, Filoa, take out your wand and let's teach him a lesson!”
There were hardly any yellow paper and gold ingots left on the ground. He gathered them together with both hands and threw them all into the red-hot copper basin, whispering his final farewell.
"—May the good deeds you accumulate in this life become blessings in your next. Grandma Ferrena, the place I lived in in my previous life was also a very good country. If you had the chance to choose, you could be born in…"
"Hey! Prepare for judgment, you Slytherin dark wizard!"
The sudden shout startled Amosta, who was just emerging from his emotional slump. Before he could react, two sharp, whistling spells echoed from behind him.
"They'll all turn to petrification!"
"Completely pulverized!"
In the blink of an eye, Amosta, who had been suddenly awakened, had no time to consider who had attacked him. He instinctively wanted to draw his wand to fight back, but was shocked to find that he had unintentionally pressed the wand under his legs. Having been sitting cross-legged in front of the brazier for more than an hour, he was dizzy and his legs were severely numb, so he had no time to make an effective reaction.
Damn it, I was too careless!
Amostella was filled with hatred. He braced himself with his left hand and fell to one side, tumbling down the bluestone path as he picked up his wand. At the last second, he narrowly escaped the spell.
However, Grandma Ferrena's photo and the brazier that Amosta conjured up were not so lucky!
Prien's petrification spell was dodged by Amosta, but it accidentally struck the brazier. Instantly, countless fire snakes filled the sky, illuminating the dark Forbidden Forest as if the dawn had arrived!
Filoa's Shattering Spell struck Ferrena's portrait precisely, and with a crisp shattering sound, the fragmented photograph was devoured by the golden fire serpent, quickly turning into black ash...
As Amosta struggled to his feet, a photograph of a shattered landscape, its edges being consumed by flames, floated past him before he fell limply to the ground.
His gaze followed the photograph, a mix of bewilderment, shock, and rage flashing in his light brown eyes. As the photograph turned to ashes, the furious Amostella finally raised his head towards the direction from which the spell had come, and slowly, but resolutely, raised his wand…
P.S.: I would be extremely grateful for any support through collections and investments!
Chapter 13 Lessons
Although they knew there were two people on their side, and that all the Gryffindor team members were nearby, Prien and Filoa still shuddered involuntarily when Amostana's eerie gaze fixed on them. It was as if a grown Hungarian wood bee had opened its ferocious maw at them, ready to devour them!
"Prian~"
Filoa gripped her boyfriend's wrist tightly, her voice trembling.
"Are you sure he's just some weird nerd from Slytherin, Prien? Why? I find his eyes frightening, a bit like that crazed hippogriff Professor Celticburn showed us last week?"
"Don't talk nonsense, Philoya, we are Gryffindor wizards—the House of Courage!"
Prian inwardly agreed with Filoa's statement. Just a moment ago, when his eyes met Blaine's, if Filoa hadn't been hiding in his arms, he might have already turned and run away.
But his pride as a man compelled him to be tough.
"Hey, you naughty boy, Blaine, don't look at us like that. You got what you deserved. Who told you to sneak into the Forbidden Forest in the middle of the night and use dark magic to curse someone? What were you doing?!"
call!
Magic surged, and the flames scattered in the soil, on the tree trunks and rocks converged at the tip of Amosta's dancing staff into a golden fireball that seemed to become a tangible entity, like a sun with endless light and heat suddenly rising on the sea under the cover of night.
The terrifying heat quickly evaporated all the moisture in the cool, humid air and spread outwards. A pine tree near Amosta was scorched and spontaneously combusted. Two young wizards a few dozen feet away were instantly drenched in sweat, as if they were standing in the crater of a volcano about to erupt!
"No, no, Amosta, we just didn't mean it."
Fear brought tears to Filoa's beautiful face. She was completely unaware of what she had said and instinctively begged for mercy.
Prien also raised his wand, but he knew very well that his Ironclad Charm, whose success was questionable, was no match for the raging golden sun at the tip of Amostella's wand.
"Get on your broom and run!"
Just as Amostella, her face ashen, swung her wand, Prien finally regained a bit of courage. With all his might, he threw Filoa and her Nimbus 1700 backward, letting out a heart-wrenching roar.
"Go find Professor McGonagall, and don't look back!"
Prien may never know that it was the glimmer of humanity he displayed between life and death that saved him.
Amosta, who witnessed this scene, had a momentary flicker of anger in his eyes. The next second, his steady wrist suddenly pressed down slightly, and the fireball that was going to fall at his feet crashed into the ground ten feet away from him!
Boom!
Just like the dazzling brilliance of a supernova at the end of its life, the fireball, containing terrifying magic, instantly turned the cracked ground into lava with its own high temperature upon landing.
The scorching air, instantly pushed aside, exploded with a deafening roar, like a pressure cooker suddenly being opened. Prien's Ironclad Charm shattered in less than a second. He didn't even have time to scream before being blasted away by the powerful shockwave. He crashed into a tree as thick as a wrist and rolled on the ground more than a dozen times before finally coming to a stop. His back was a bloody mess!
Filoa suffered relatively less damage, as Prian shielded her from a significant portion of the impact, but even so, she was still thrown more than ten feet by the powerful blast wave.
Standing unharmed behind the milky-white magical barrier, Amosta watched with a sinister gaze as the dazed and confused Filoa scrambled onto her flying broom, not even bothering to extinguish the flames on her robes, and charged towards the castle without looking back, ultimately making no further move.
The surroundings were in complete disarray. Even without the support of magic, the magical fire, with its unique properties, continued to relentlessly devour the chaotic world.
Click, click~
Amostella walked across the scorched earth, step by step, to Prian's side. She lowered her head and looked down at the shocking scars on his back, her expression unmoved.
Prian is not dead, of course. Amosta doesn't want to go to Azkaban for further studies, at least not now.
"I was just about to let you experience the pain of a severed limb."
Amosta said expressionlessly, "This will teach you a lesson, but your final act of bravery earned you some dignity."
Amostella took out a bottle of white cinnabar and several bottles of colorful potions with unclear effects from the bag in her bosom. She mixed them in the correct proportions and poured them onto Prien's back. With the help of her wand, the granulation tissue in the torn and mangled wound began to wriggle, and new flesh quickly grew.
Prien's pale complexion had improved somewhat, but several of his ribs were still unnaturally bent. Amosta did not treat his broken bones; such a minor injury could be easily resolved by Madam Pomfrey.
"I should learn my lesson; how could I have thought I'd be safe at school—"
Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!
Suddenly, several sharp, piercing sounds came from the depths of the forbidden forest. As they drew near, they quickly split up and surrounded the area from all sides. From the swirling mist, five dark figures gradually emerged.
Amosta showed no surprise; ever since he saw Prian and Filoa wearing Gryffindor jerseys, he had known they wouldn't be acting alone.
However, when a short, stocky figure became clear from the blur, Amosta's lips twitched involuntarily.
Charlie Weasley – Bill Weasley’s younger brother, the second son of the Weasley family, the Gryffindor team’s genius Seeker, whose flying broomstick can support an eight-eyed spider the size of a car, who has been hit by at least three petrification charms at the same time!
Amost had no idea that there were eight-eyed spiders in the Forbidden Forest. These Gryffindor lion cubs certainly know how to play!
As a sharp-eyed Seeker, Charlie spotted Prien at Blaine's feet immediately. With a maturity beyond his years, Charlie didn't rush to question him. Instead, he perched high on his broomstick, carefully surveying the terrifying mess. When he saw the nearly three-foot-deep, still-smoking lava hole in front of Amosta, he gasped.
“Where is Philoia, Blaine?” Charlie’s voice was as weathered as his appearance.
"Perhaps it has already mixed with the soil."
Amosta said calmly, "You can look for it yourselves; maybe you can find a few fingernails or something."
"You killed Philoia?!"
A Gryffindor player roared in disbelief, "And Prien, where are his clothes? What did you do to him?!"
Angri shouts surged forth like a tidal wave, as they raised their wands at Amosta, some yelling that they would send Amosta to Azkaban.
Charlie Weasley certainly possessed a leadership quality that most people lacked. Among this group, he was the youngest and the most composed. He believed that Amosta couldn't possibly have really killed Philoia unless he really wanted to go to the wizarding prison. However, Prien's serious injuries were undeniable, and the top priority at the moment was to ensure Prien's safety.
Charlie pulled out his wand and cut the rope suspending the eight-eyed spider. He controlled the broom, making it dart through the air, and said in a deep voice,
“Give Prien back to us, Blaine, or you’ll be in for a rough time.”
Chapter 14 One Pot
Assessing the situation and weighing the pros and cons is not something a group of teenage Gryffindor wizards are good at. If they were from Slytherin, they would most likely be very restrained and well-mannered when they saw the devastation and damage suffered by the Forbidden Forest.
"Why waste words with him, Charlie? We'll cover for you. Find a chance to rescue Prien!"
A Gryffindor player riding a Comet series broomstick roared from the upper left of Amosta, and then decisively hurled a dazzling red beam at Amosta.
The Gryffindor players were indeed very coordinated. The Stunning Curse seemed to be a signal for an attack, and the three players other than Charlie responded immediately after receiving the signal.
To confuse Amosta as much as possible, they rode on broomsticks, constantly changing positions in mid-air. The interlocking shadows wove a large net above Amosta's head, and occasionally cast stun or petrification spells.
To be honest, Amosta originally intended to return Prian to them and had no intention of fighting them.
Filoa has already gone to the castle to get reinforcements. It's estimated that the professors will soon find out that a student has caused trouble in the Forbidden Forest. Point deductions and solitary confinement are inevitable punishments. However, Amostella still hopes that the confinement period will be a little shorter. He doesn't want to stay in Snape's office until next Christmas.
However, since the Gryffindors made the first move, there's no problem with defending and counterattacking; it's a good opportunity to vent our anger.
