In the library, the recipe for truth serum might only be found in the restricted section.

……

"Powerful Potion?"

Mrs. Pince examined the note carefully, along with Lockhart's flamboyant signature, and asked, "Mr. Gray, this is a very dangerous book."

“Yes, I know,” Wade said. “I will carefully learn the beneficial parts of it.”

“Well,” Mrs. Pince muttered, “Professor Lockhart is too capricious, approving everything for his students…”

She strode into the restricted book section, and a moment later came out with a thick, seemingly moldy book, which she handed to Wade.

Wade, holding the book, didn't leave immediately but asked, "Did Professor Lockhart approve any other banned books for other students?"

"A lowly Slytherin student has actually borrowed a book of extremely poisonous magic!" Mrs. Pince exclaimed indignantly. "He has absolutely no sense of propriety!"

“That student…could it be Draco Malfoy?” Wade guessed.

The fleeting expression on Mrs. Pince's face indicated that he had guessed correctly.

But the librarian said sternly, "Don't ask around, Mr. Gray. I won't reveal any student secrets."

……

"Don't mess with Slytherins lately, especially Draco Malfoy."

During the Umbrella House event, Wade warned everyone, and he specifically glanced at Michael.

"What's wrong?" Harry asked.

“He borrowed a book called ‘The Most Poisonous Magic’ from the library,” Wade said. “I suspect he might want to learn some dangerous dark magic and use it on someone.”

“Speaking of which…” Hermione glanced at Harry and Neville, “Malfoy hasn’t been giving you any trouble lately, has he?”

“Yeah,” Harry said, puzzled. “He joined the Slytherin team. I thought he’d be showing off for a while!”

Ryan said, "Malfoy hasn't been doing too well lately. I once saw him arguing with some Slytherins near the underground classroom, and he almost got pushed over by Crabbe."

The common rooms of Slytherin and Badger are very close together, so they often run into Slytherin students.

“That’s strange,” Harry said, puzzled. “Hasn’t Crabbe always been Malfoy’s sidekick?”

Padma suggested, "Perhaps he doesn't want to be a lackey anymore?"

Michael raised an eyebrow smugly, as if to say something. Wade, however, shook his head at him.

"Never mind Slytherin." Wade tapped his palm with his wand and asked everyone, "Have you all mastered the Stunning Charm?"

"Of course." Everyone nodded in agreement.

Hermione exclaimed excitedly, "Are we going to learn new spells?"

Vader shook his head: "You don't need a lot of practical magic, but it must be the most familiar. Ideally, you should be able to cast it successfully without thinking, without incantations, or even without a wand!"

"Silent and without a staff?" Theo muttered, "That's very difficult..."

“So that’s the goal for the future,” Wade said.

"At this stage, what we need to do is very simple—draw the wand in the shortest time possible, successfully cast the spell while dodging, and ensure that the target is hit."

"How will we train?" Michael asked eagerly. "Will it be the same as before, with real-game practice?"

Wade shook his head: "What we did before wasn't real combat training; it was more like throwing spells while standing still."

"To truly learn how to use spells, let's play a game."

His smile seemed somewhat malicious.

"What game?" Neville swallowed hard and asked nervously.

Wade smiled broadly.

"Battle Royale!"

……

"Hey, Wade, you're here!"

The Weasley twins patted the fence next to them and raised their hands in greeting.

Hagrid was trimming the bushes that were taller than a person nearby, and when he saw them, he waved happily.

Hagrid was surrounded by a pumpkin patch, and many of the pumpkins were taller than a person.

“My God, they’re huge!” Neville exclaimed.

Harry hadn't visited Hagrid for several days and was surprised by the dramatic change in his vegetable garden. He asked, "Hagrid, how did you get them to grow so tall?"

"Is it the Inflation Spell?" Hermione turned to Wade and asked, "Are we training here?"

"Yes, this environment is quite nice. It's hard to defend against a surprise attack from behind a pumpkin, isn't it?"

Fred, lying on a smaller pumpkin, laughed.

“The ideal environment would be the Forbidden Forest, but Hagrid won’t let us in, not even on the edge!” George said regretfully.

For Wade, the ideal would be the Room of Requirement, which could simulate various environments.

However, while Peter Pedirou was still at school, he didn't want to reveal this secret to Harry and the others.

Chapter 140 Survival Game

2

Vader tapped a pumpkin leaf next to him with his wand, and the leaf turned into a brass bell.

He rang the bell, attracting everyone's attention.

"Then, let me announce the rules."

"Since this is our first time playing this game, we can keep the rules simple."

"Everyone is divided into two camps. Me, Fred, Harry, and I are the Black Team, responsible for the hunt."

“The rest of you are the White Group. You can flee, you can hide, and of course you can fight back.”

"Hagrid is the referee."

"The game lasts for thirty minutes. After the whistle blows, you have one minute to hide or prepare. One minute later, the Black Team will begin the 'hunt'."

"If anyone from the White team survives in thirty minutes, the Black team loses; if no one from the White team survives, the Black team wins!"

"The rules are: no evil spells are allowed, no magical items other than wands are allowed, being hit by a spell is considered 'death,' and a 'corpse' is not allowed to provide any form of assistance to its companions."

"A group that violates the rules is immediately considered to have failed."

"Is everything clear?"

Everyone nodded, and Fred whistled, "Let's get started! I can't wait!"

Hagrid had brought a large rock beforehand, climbed onto it, and sat down, so that the entire area was in his view.

"Children, are you all ready?"

"All right!"

The young wizards, who had already spontaneously divided into two groups, raised their wands and shouted loudly, with even Hermione and Padma unable to resist joining in.

"Alright." Hagrid smiled happily, put the whistle in his mouth, and blew it hard!

"Beep——"

A clear, sharp whistle rang out, and the members of the White Team immediately ran in all directions through the gaps between the pumpkins.

In the past few minutes, everyone had already come up with a plan on how to hide or fight back.

Hagrid stared intently at the pocket watch, and after a minute, he blew the whistle again.

"Black Team, move out!"

The three members of the Black Group did not set off immediately.

Wade and Harry immediately cast the Armor Charm on themselves, and Fred exclaimed, "Wow! Armor Charm... I don't even know how to do that!"

"Need any help?" Vader asked, pointing his wand at him.

"Thanks," Fred said. After Wade cast the Armor Charm on him, he looked down and asked, "It seems a little different from the regular Armor Charm?"

“Wade’s Ironclad Charm can last for about ten minutes,” Harry reminded him. “Ordinary spells can only stop two or three times.”

“I understand now,” Fred said, glancing at the tall pumpkin beside him, and asked, “Can I climb up on this?”

Wade said, "If the law does not prohibit it, then it is permissible."

So Fred climbed up.

"Want to come along?" Wade asked Harry.

Harry shook his head: "We only have thirty minutes. Splitting up the search will be faster... I don't want to lose."

"Okay, good luck to you."

Without hesitation, Wade chose a direction and headed off. Harry, on the other hand, walked along another narrow path.

It's quiet around here.
