Sun Wukong's Flower Fruit Mountain is located in the Eastern Continent of Divine Victory, and the sea area opposite the Eastern Continent of Divine Victory is naturally the East Sea.

Chapter 445 Dragon King of the East Sea

The East Sea is connected to the South Sea, West Sea, and North Sea, with no boundary, forming a single, interconnected body of water, as if they were one. All aquatic creatures in the world are under its rule. Furthermore, the Dragon Kings of the South Sea, West Sea, and North Sea are brothers with the Dragon King of the East Sea, born of the same mother, and are very close.

The Dragon Kings of the Four Seas were also well-connected, having deep friendships with countless immortals. Furthermore, they were bestowed the title of Dragon God by the Jade Emperor, who controlled the clouds and rain, nourishing all things. Countless beings in the four continents of the Earthly Immortal Realm lived because of them, and their merits were immeasurable.

Even gods and ancient immortals would show some respect to the Dragon King of the Four Seas if they encountered him.

Sun Wukong was born from a stone monkey, and having just returned from his apprenticeship, he was arrogant and unruly, thinking he had some strength. He didn't even bow to the Dragon King of the East Sea, and sat down casually.

Fortunately, the Dragon King of the East Sea was not a narrow-minded person. He was not angry when he saw this and asked, "When did you attain enlightenment, Immortal? What immortal arts did you learn from me?"

Sun Wukong said, “Since I was born, I have been cultivating myself and have obtained a body that is neither born nor dies. Recently, I have been teaching my children and grandchildren and guarding the mountain cave, but I have no weapon. I have heard that the Dragon King of the East Sea has treasures of the world in his palace, and there must be extra divine weapons. So I have come to ask for one.”

The Dragon King of the East Sea was a generous man, so he couldn't refuse. He turned to a salmon spirit beside him and said, "Go and bring out that big, fierce sword from the palace. Let the immortal see if it's suitable."

Sun Wukong said, "Thank you, Dragon King, but I don't know how to use a sword. Please have someone change my sword!"

The Dragon King hurriedly ordered the salmon spirit to find someone, and together they carried out another knife-shaped fork.

Sun Wukong jumped down, caught the knife and fork in his hands, and brandished them for a while before putting them down, saying, "Light! Light! Light! It's really not handy! I beg the Dragon King to give me another one."

The Dragon King of the East Sea laughed and said, "Immortal, did you not see this fork? It weighs three thousand six hundred catties!"

Sun Wukong said, "Three thousand six hundred catties is not good enough! Not good enough! Let's get another one!"

Hearing Sun Wukong say this, the Dragon King was somewhat surprised. He had originally thought that Sun Wukong was a wild demon king, and he only brought out the sword and fork from his palace to send Sun Wukong away because of Sun Wukong's status as a Great Luo Golden Immortal.

But who would have thought that the 3,600-pound knife and fork, once in Sun Wukong's hands, would be as light as a feather, without any weight at all.

If it were a wild demon king, such a heavy weapon would be a huge problem, let alone wielding it.

After all, without superior cultivation techniques, it's simply impossible for a wild demon king to develop divine power.

Seeing that Sun Wukong wielded the sword and fork with such ease that it seemed weightless, the Dragon King of the East Sea began to take Sun Wukong more seriously.

Seeing that the knife and fork were not handy, the Dragon King hurriedly ordered the salmon spirit to bring out a halberd.

The halberd was over two people tall, its entire body a mercury-colored luster, radiating a dazzling light that blinded the eyes. Frosty rays of light flickered incessantly on its sharp blade.

That halberd weighed over 7,200 jin (approximately 3,150 kg), and it was impossible for the salmon spirit to lift it alone. Behind the salmon spirit, there were also many shrimp soldiers and crab generals, who were also trying their best to lift it.

The Dragon King of the East Sea said, "Immortal, try this halberd and see if it suits your hand."

Sun Wukong stepped forward, took the halberd, and used it to his advantage. He unleashed a couple of techniques, and a chilling aura filled the air. The shrimp soldiers and crab generals nearby were all terrified and dared not approach.

After showing off a couple of moves, Sun Wukong threw his halberd aside and shouted, "Still too light! Still too light! Dragon King, bring me a heavier one!"

Although the halberd was half again as heavy as the fork, to Sun Wukong it was only slightly heavier. It still felt awkward to wield; the halberd seemed to float.

Seeing Sun Wukong's immense strength, the Dragon King of the East Sea was terrified and said, "Immortal, in my palace, this halberd is the heaviest; there is no one heavier than it."

Previously, Sun Wukong's handling of the sword and fork had already surprised him. Now, since Sun Wukong still found the halberd light, the Dragon King's heart was no longer filled with surprise, but with fear.

Sun Wukong was short and thin, no more than four feet tall. To say that Sun Wukong possessed such terrifying power from birth was something the Dragon King of the East simply did not believe.

If Sun Wukong's strength wasn't innate, but rather cultivated, then as far as he knew, there were only a handful of body-refining techniques in the world that possessed such terrifying power.

Those books, regardless of which one they are, all have a tremendous history. For an ordinary person to want them is nothing short of a pipe dream. However, judging from Sun Wukong's appearance, he clearly has cultivated a body-refining technique. Regardless of which of those books he has cultivated, it still demonstrates that Sun Wukong's identity is definitely not as simple as he claims.

Then, recalling what Sun Wukong had said before—that he had gone out to learn martial arts more than a decade ago and acquired a body that was neither born nor dies—he realized that Sun Wukong's master must have been a renowned master of supernatural powers in the world to have enabled his disciple to reach this level in just over a decade.

Immediately, the Dragon King of the East Sea was filled with conflicting emotions. The heaviest weapon in the Dragon Palace was the halberd, and it was simply impossible to produce another heavy weapon.

However, if they refused Sun Wukong and his master found out, Sun Wukong's master would definitely not treat them well. By then, it would be too late for them to regret it.

After thinking for a moment without coming up with a solution, the Dragon King of the East Sea had no choice but to apologize to Sun Wukong and turn around to disappear inside.

Upon reaching the back, Granny Long emerged and asked, "Your Majesty, weren't you entertaining that naturally born saint from Flower Fruit Mountain? Why are you in the back? What is that naturally born saint's cultivation level?"

Chapter 446 Monkey Head Searching for Treasure

The Dragon King of the East Sea said, "His cultivation is quite strong, possessing the cultivation of a Great Luo Golden Immortal, and his strength is comparable to mine."

Long Po said, "Ever since the primordial continent was shattered by ancient cultivators, every cultivator who has reached the Great Luo Golden Immortal realm has a sage behind them. Why doesn't Your Majesty go and properly entertain them? What are you doing here? Is that born sage difficult to deal with?"

The Dragon King of the East Sea sighed and said, "It's easy to get along with him, but as soon as that monkey came to the Dragon Palace, he asked me for a weapon. I brought him a knife, but he said he wasn't used to using a knife. I then ordered the salmon spirit to bring him a halberd, which he swung around in his hand a couple of times and said it was too light. I was surprised, so I quickly ordered the salmon spirit to bring out the halberd, but that monkey also said it was too light. I was really at a loss, so I came to the back to ask what you think."

Granny Long said, "I remember that halberd weighed over 7,200 jin. Even an ordinary cultivator couldn't lift it, yet that monkey complained it was too light. That monkey has incredible strength!"

The Dragon Lady was astonished. Seeing that the Dragon King of the East Sea remained silent, she also fell into deep thought. After a moment, she said, "In our East Sea, that piece of divine iron that is fixed at the bottom of the Milky Way has been shining brightly and exuding auspicious energy these past few days. Could it be that it is about to appear and encounter this holy being?"

The Dragon King of the East Sea said, "That was a measuring rod used by Yu the Great to determine the depth of rivers and seas during his flood control efforts. It was a piece of divine iron, but what use could it possibly have?"

The old woman said, "Don't worry about whether he uses it or not, just give it to him. Let him modify it however he wants, just send it out of the palace."

The Dragon King of the East Sea came out from behind and, following the instructions of the old woman, spoke to Sun Wukong.

Sun Wukong said, "Since you have such a treasure, why don't you show it to me sooner?"

The Dragon King of the East Sea shook his head and said, "Immortal, if you could lift it, you would have done so already. That divine iron is very heavy, and ordinary people simply cannot lift it. You must go and take a look yourself."

Sun Wukong said, "In that case, quickly lead me there to take a look!"

The Dragon King of the East Sea walked in front, with Sun Wukong following behind. Behind them were a large group of dragon sons and grandsons, shrimp soldiers and crab generals.

After walking for a while, the Dragon King of the East Sea led Sun Wukong to the middle of the sea cave, pointed to the place in the middle that was shining, and said, "Immortal, that's the place that's shining."

Sun Wukong flicked his sleeve, stepped forward, and touched it. He saw that it was an iron pillar, about the thickness of a bushel and over two zhang long. It shone with a golden light, dazzlingly bright, so bright that it was impossible to open one's eyes.

Sun Wukong stretched out his arms, hugged it around, and sighed, "It's good, but it's a bit too thick. It would be better if it were thinner!"

As soon as Sun Wukong finished speaking, the divine iron seemed to have a spirit, and it shortened by several feet and became thinner by a circumference.

Sun Wukong shook it again and said, "It's still too thick. It would be better if it were thinner!"

As he spoke, the divine iron indeed became even thinner. Sun Wukong was delighted to see this, and pulled out the divine iron. Upon closer inspection, he found that the divine iron had two golden hoops at both ends, and a section of black iron in the middle. Next to the hoops was an engraved line of characters that read "Ruyi Jingu Bang" (the Ruyi Golden Cudgel), and it weighed 13,500 jin (approximately 6,250 kg).

Sun Wukong was secretly delighted, thinking, "The Ruyi Jingu Bang (Golden Cudgel) is indeed a treasure that suits my needs!"

He held it in his hand and tossed it around, then said, "It would be even better if it were a little thinner." As soon as he finished speaking, the treasure indeed became thinner, only the thickness of a large bowl and more than two zhang long. It fit Sun Wukong perfectly in his hand.

"What a treasure! What a treasure!" Sun Wukong couldn't help but exclaim as he looked at the Ruyi Jingu Bang in his hand.

The Ruyi Jingu Bang weighs 13,500 jin (approximately 6,250 kg). When swung, it makes a whooshing sound and is awe-inspiring. It can be said that even a graze will cause injury, and a direct hit will result in death.

Although his cultivation level is similar to Sun Wukong's, both being Great Luo Golden Immortals, in fact, if we were to compare them in detail, his level might even be slightly higher than Sun Wukong's, as he has already touched the edge of Quasi-Saint.

However, if they were to actually fight, even if two or three of them attacked together, they might not be able to defeat Sun Wukong with his Ruyi Jingu Bang in hand.

The Dragon King of the East Sea said, "Immortal, please don't say such things. In the past, no one could lift this treasure. It was as if it were cast in iron and attached to the seabed. Now that you have come, not only does this treasure shine brightly, but it has also become smaller and thinner. This is due to your good fortune, and I, the old dragon, really dare not take credit for it."

Sun Wukong laughed and said, "The Dragon King is certainly full of flattery! However, although this treasure is good, there is still something to say about it."

The Dragon King of the East Sea asked, "Does the Immortal have anything else to say?"

Sun Wukong said, "If we hadn't had any treasures back then, it wouldn't have mattered; but now that we have it in our hands, and we have no clothes to wear, what can we do? If you have any armor here, why not give me a set as a token of my gratitude? How about it?"

The clothes he was wearing were still the same ones he wore when he was at the Lingtai Fangcun Mountain and Xieyue Sanxing Cave: a red robe with a yellow silk sash and black boots. He looked neither like a monk nor a layman.

Those clothes weren't anything special; they were just ordinary clothes. After so long, they were already quite tattered, and when Sun Wukong wore them, the golden monkey fur on his skin was showing.

The Dragon King of the East Sea said, "Immortal, we do not have this precious garment."

Sun Wukong said, "'A guest should not serve two masters.' If you don't have one, I'll stay here and not leave!"

The Dragon King of the East Sea twitched at the corner of his mouth. It was the first time he had ever heard a Grand Luo Golden Immortal cultivator speak in such a shameless and unscrupulous manner.

Chapter 447 The Stabilizing Force

"As expected, monkeys are monkeys. No matter how high their cultivation level is, their nature is hard to change."

The Dragon King of the East Sea said, "I really don't have any precious robes here. If I did, I would have already offered them to the Immortal. I would trouble the Immortal to travel around the sea again, perhaps I can find some."

Sun Wukong said, "If you really don't have one, then I'll let you try this treasure! Let's see if yours is harder, or the treasure in my hand is harder!"

The Dragon King of the East Sea panicked. That Ruyi Jingu Bang weighed 13,000 jin. How could he possibly withstand it? He hurriedly said, "Immortal, please don't make a move! Please don't make a move! Let me see if my younger brother has one. I will send one to you."

Sun Wukong, leaning on his Ruyi Jingu Bang (magic staff), asked, "Where is your younger brother?"

The Dragon King of the East Sea said, "My younger brothers are Ao Qin, the Dragon King of the South Sea; Ao Shun, the Dragon King of the North Sea; and Ao Run, the Dragon King of the West Sea."

Sun Wukong waved his hand and said, "I, Old Sun, will not go! I will not go! As the saying goes, 'Three on credit is not as good as two on delivery,' so I only hope you will send me one that is of the lowest quality."

The Dragon King of the East Sea said, “There is no need to go to the immortal realm. I have an iron drum and a golden bell here; whenever there is an emergency, just beat the drum and strike the bell, and my brothers will arrive in an instant.”

Sun Wukong said, "Since that's the case, why don't you hurry up and strike the bell and beat the drum!"

The Dragon King of the East Sea hurriedly ordered the turtle spirit beside him to beat the drum and strike the bell. The sound of the drum and bell indeed alarmed the three Dragon Kings of the three seas. In a short while, the Dragon Kings of the South Sea, the West Sea, and the North Sea all rushed over and met outside.

The Dragon King of the South Sea asked, "Brother, what urgent matter is it that requires you to beat the drum and strike the bell?"

The Dragon King of the East Sea sighed and said, “Brother! It’s hard to say! There’s some kind of born saint from Flower Fruit Mountain who came to claim me as his neighbor this morning. Later, he asked for a weapon. He thought the steel fork was too small and the halberd too light. He took out a piece of the Heavenly River’s Bottom-Stabilizing Divine Iron and showed off some of his skills. Now he’s sitting in the palace and wants some kind of armor. I have nothing here, so I rang the bells and drums to invite you, brother. Do you have any armor? Give him a set and send him on his way.”

Upon hearing this, the Dragon King of the South Sea flew into a rage and said, "Brother, don't be afraid! My brothers and I will muster our troops and deal with him!"

The Dragon King of the East Sea said, "Don't even mention taking him! Don't even mention taking him! He's quite strong, with the cultivation of a Great Luo Golden Immortal, about the same strength as the four of us brothers. Plus, that piece of iron in his hand weighs 13,000 jin. If you touch it, you'll die; if you bump into it, you'll perish. A mere touch will break your skin, a scrape will injure your tendons! How can we possibly fight him!"

"Tsk tsk! What a formidable fellow!" The Dragon King of the West Sea sighed and said, "Second Brother, wait a moment. We must not fight him. Let's just give him a set of armor and send him out the door. Then we can submit a memorial to the Heavenly Court and ask them to send troops to arrest him."

The Dragon King of the North Sea said, "That's right. I have a pair of lotus-silk cloud-walking shoes here."

The Dragon King of the West Sea said, "I brought a suit of golden chainmail."

The Dragon King of the South Sea said, "I have a phoenix-winged purple-gold crown."

The Dragon King of the South Sea said, "This monkey is extremely rude. He took our things and didn't even say thank you, but he dared to say we were noisy. I'll write a memorial to the Emperor and let him know what's what."
