Liddell Eaton nodded readily. "Everything is going well. My approval rating far surpasses that of the current president. There's no suspense about it."

“That’s good. I’m in Antarctica now, on my way back. See you in Washington in a few days to celebrate your election as president,” Ding Ze said with a smile.

“Okay, I’ll wait for you,” Liddell Eaton replied.

After exchanging a few more casual words, the two hung up the phone.

Ding Ze thought for a moment, then called Pablo again.

He had indeed been under the iceberg for a long time, and the world is constantly changing, almost every moment. So, he was quite curious about the progress on Pablo's side.

Pablo answered the phone, "Hello, Mr. Ding."

"Hello, it's been a long time since we last contacted each other. How's everything going on your end?" Ding Ze asked with a smile.

“Successfully, very successfully! My dream will come true soon,” Pablo said excitedly. “Thank you, Mr. Ding. If it weren’t for you, I’m afraid it would have been a long time before I could realize this dream.”

"Haha, you're welcome," Ding Ze replied.

The two chatted for a little while, catching up on their feelings.

Time flies.

Ding Ze and his group left the frozen continent and boarded the ship. The ship immediately set sail for the nearest airport.

Upon arriving at the airport, Ding Ze and his group bid farewell to Snowy Milden and his group, agreeing to meet again at the foot of Mount Fuji in a few days. They then boarded a plane and flew to Washington.

Go round and round.

It took more than four days.

Ding Ze and his entourage finally arrived in Washington and checked into a hotel not too far from the White House.

It was already past nine o'clock at night.

The news is filled with reports about tomorrow's election results.

Then, in reality, by this point, the election results were no longer in doubt.

All media outlets concluded that Liddell Eaton was elected.

Ding Ze watched TV, smiled, and found it quite interesting.

Suddenly, at that very moment.

My phone rang loudly.

Ding Ze took out his phone and looked at it.

It was a very urgent reminder from [The Samaritan]... (End of Chapter)

Chapter 505 The darkness before dawn

Washington, D.C., USA.

After reading the Samaritan's warning, Ding Zezhen was genuinely surprised.

After all, are you kidding me?

The results will be out tomorrow, and then they'll take action against Liddell Eaton tonight?

Startled, Ding Ze chuckled and shook his head. Then, with a cigarette dangling from his lips, he decisively stood up and, while walking out, made a call to Liddell Eaton.

Liddell Eaton currently lives in a house not far from the White House, almost completely surrounded and protected by Secret Service agents.

Normally, in this kind of environment, outsiders have no way to touch Liddell Eaton.

Indeed, the warning given by "The Samaritan" indicated that an insider was about to commit a crime.

Ha ha.

Free America, gunfights every day, no doubt about it.

The call is connected.

“It’s me,” Ding Ze said, taking the initiative to speak. “I’m in Washington now.”

Liddell Eaton was delighted to hear this, and felt much more at ease with Ding Ze here. "Great! I thought you wouldn't arrive until tomorrow. Shall we meet?"

Ding Ze exhaled a puff of smoke and smiled faintly, "We do need to meet, but for different reasons."

Liddell Eaton was taken aback, not quite understanding what he meant. "What do you mean?"

“I just received word that an organization is planning to take action against you,” Ding Ze said calmly, his smile fading. “I know where you are right now. Tell me, who is with you?”

hum.

In just a few hours, everything will be settled, and he will successfully enter the White House.

Why would anyone be so foolish as to make a move at this time?

Not to mention, there were hundreds of agents surrounding the house from all sides, making it completely enclosed.

Liddell Eaton was confused and bewildered. After a couple of seconds of stunned silence, he came to his senses and replied, "Only a few close confidants."

“At this critical juncture, you have no one else you can trust but me,” Ding Ze replied decisively. “From now on, do not eat or drink anything. I don’t know how this organization will kill you, but I think that at this time, the possibility of poisoning is very high.”

Hear this.

Just as Liddell Eaton picked up a glass of whiskey and was about to drink it, his hand trembled, and he almost dropped the glass.

That's a really scary statement, though.

Liddell Eaton calmed down, naturally setting down his glass, while subtly glancing at his confidants not far away.

next second.

Liddell Eaton decided to trust Ding Ze and spoke to his confidants, "You can go out first, I have some private matters to discuss."

Several trusted confidants overheard this, said nothing, and hastily left the room and went into the corridor.

Liddell Eaton then spoke to Ding Ze again, "What should I do now? Leave here?"

“Hehe,” Ding Ze smiled faintly, “I reckon you can’t leave. If you do, that organization might just kill you, because they don’t have much time left.”

The more I talk about it, the scarier it gets.

Liddell Eaton couldn't take it anymore and became genuinely nervous, his old face full of seriousness as he asked again, "Then what should I do?"

"Lock the door, find a safe corner to stay in, away from the window, watch out for snipers, don't eat or drink, and wait for my notification," Ding Ze said bluntly.

Liddell Eaton dared not disobey and immediately nodded, "Okay."

Ding Ze didn't say anything more, hung up the phone, and got into the car that his employees had prepared while calling Eddie Thomas again.

Eddie Thomas, as the CIA director, had many methods at his disposal, including poisoning, and more importantly, he was well-informed.

Although it's quite late now, tomorrow is a big day for America, so a bunch of big shots, including Eddie Thomas, are still busy with all sorts of trivial matters.

Upon seeing the incoming call, Eddie Thomas's brow twitched slightly. After a moment's hesitation, he answered the call and casually walked towards a secluded spot, saying, "Hello."

“It’s me, I’m back, and I’m in Washington now,” Ding Ze said.

Upon hearing this, Eddie Thomas couldn't help but feel nervous, instinctively thinking that Ding Ze had suddenly returned at this crucial moment, and not to Miami, but to Washington...

"What are you planning to do?" Eddie Thomas asked instinctively, his voice trembling with nervousness.

Ding Ze chuckled upon hearing this and couldn't help but smile. "Don't be nervous. I came back this time intending to wait until the results are out tomorrow so we can all celebrate. I didn't plan to cause any trouble."

Eddie Thomas was quite quick-witted; after hearing this, he immediately raised an eyebrow. "Originally?"

“Yes,” Ding Ze responded, “There’s been a bit of a situation. I’ve received information that an organization is planning to take action against Liddell-Eton before dawn.”

"I've only received a few names so far. These are all Secret Service agents, and they're all not far from Lidal Eaton right now."

boom!

The voice reached my ears.

Eddie Thomas's mind went blank; he could hardly believe his ears. He blinked repeatedly. "Is this information reliable?"

Ding Ze smiled and said, "Of course."

In fact, Eddie Thomas realized how foolish the question was as soon as he asked it.

After all, the other side was Ding Ze, a madman and serial killer, whose intelligence network was terrifying.

Eddie Thomas quickly regained his composure. "What do you want me to do?"

“Protect Lidar at all costs,” Ding Ze said seriously, his smile fading. “Lidar’s security team is no longer reliable. I don’t yet know exactly how many agents have been bribed.”

"In that case, the safest approach would be to transfer them all away."

"You find a way to make that happen; my people and I are moving there."

“You transfer all the Secret Service agents away, and I will take over. You can also send an elite force to be responsible for the outer perimeter security.”

"Is there a problem?"

Eddie Thomas's head was spinning.

Is there a problem? Of course there is a problem.

At this critical juncture, such a huge commotion has suddenly erupted... Eddie Thomas is just the director of the CIA; he doesn't have the authority to mobilize the Secret Service.

Of course, it can be accomplished with some effort, sacrifice, and cost... but it will take a lot of time.
