Wen Senlin smiled kindly, "Detective Ma Hong, you can't just say things like that. I didn't mean it that way at all."

"Do you have a business card?" Ma Hong asked without further ado.

“Of course,” Vincent readily took out a business card from his inside suit pocket and handed it over. “Feel free to contact me anytime if you need anything. However, my fees are rather high.”

Ma Hong took the business card and said, "Okay."

"Can we go now?" Vincent asked.

Although Ma Hong could easily stop Vincent if he wanted a reason, it wouldn't make sense, and considering the secret Ding Ze knew, the risk of stopping Vincent was simply too great.

Taking all factors into account, not interfering is the best option.

“Let’s go, see you in Chicago,” Ma Hong said after weighing the options, and stepped aside.

-

The city of Polis is about 280 kilometers from the city of Chicago.

It takes about three hours to drive there.

Up to this point.

Ding Ze and his two companions had been on the road for more than two hours.

Coming.

"John, are you ready?" Ding Ze glanced at the time, looked at the calm-faced Abruzzi, and asked with a smile.

“Of course,” Abruzzi replied with a laugh.

Ding Ze didn't say anything more. He took out a cigarette, lit it, and looked out the window.

Outside the window, the wind howled.

How many people will die in Chicago today?

Chapter 57 People and weapons, the more the better!

"Lan, check with the department and the Chicago Police Department to see if there are any suspects currently under investigation or about to be apprehended who have connections to the Abruzzi family. They have to be influential figures with some influence."

After leaving Anna Westmoreland's hospital room, Mahone hurried towards the elevator, intending to rush back to Chicago, and dialed Agent Lan's number, saying the following.

“Okay,” Agent Lan said, not quite understanding, “what is it used for?”

“Abruzzi was betrayed by that Fibonacci and ended up in Fox River State Prison. If someone like him gets wind of Fibonacci’s whereabouts, he’ll definitely show up,” Mahone said calmly. “I’m going to give him that information to lure him out.”

"If Abruzzi comes out, Ding Ze will most likely come out too."

Detective Lan understood. "Okay, I'll go check right away."

Time flies.

About an hour later.

Under Mahone's leadership, the Chicago FBI branch made a deal with the head of another Chicago mob family.

Shortly afterwards.

Ron, who had just arrived in Chicago, received a phone call.

After listening.

Ron turned around and stared intently out the window. As Abruzzi seemed to be lost in thought, he spoke, "John, someone has discovered Fibonacci."

As soon as these words came out.

Abruzzi's expression changed instantly, becoming distinctly fierce as he asked, "Who?"

Ding Ze, with a cigarette dangling from his lips, guessed that this was Ma Hong's doing, smiled, and had an idea.

“Jimmy Montau,” Ron offered a name.

“Jimmy,” Abruzzi muttered, the impulse he had felt upon hearing Ron’s words subsiding slightly. He then turned to Ding Ze, “Mr. Ding?”

Ding Ze exhaled a puff of smoke and smiled, "This is a trap, but perhaps we can take advantage of it."

“I suspect it’s a trap,” Abruzzi laughed. “The FBI wants to lure me out?”

“Hmm,” Ding Ze nodded gently.

"Then what do you mean by 'exploitation'?" Abruzzi asked again.

“We’ll play along,” Ding Ze said casually. “If you act like you’ve taken the bait, the FBI will definitely send a lot of people to arrest you. More importantly, Mahone will likely be there.”

After a pause, Ding Ze countered, "Do you have enough manpower and firepower to encircle that group?"

Hear the words.

Abruch: "!!!!"

Ron: "!!!!"

Abruzzi and Ron both fell silent.

The term "counter-encirclement" is a bit too subtle.

A counter-attack is a more accurate description.

and so.

Who knows how many FBI agents they could take down in one go?

It is indeed exciting...

But isn't doing this just courting death?

After much hesitation, Abruzzi finally spoke, "Mr. Ding...would killing those people be of great benefit to our future?"

“Of course,” Ding Ze said with a smile, “Putting everything else aside, Ma Hong will definitely be shocked to see everyone around him die. After that, the time will be ripe, and we can move on to the next step and disappear without a trace.”

That sounds a bit too far-fetched.

Knowing his life was at stake, Abruzzi, though fierce, dared not be careless. After a moment's thought, he didn't speak too directly, but asked tactfully, "Are you sure? This is not the same as killing a few police officers."

"Don't worry," Ding Ze nodded, "I still have money to spend, and I don't want to die so soon."

As he spoke, Ding Ze thought for a moment, "Well then, I think it's time to let you know about another of my skills."

"Ron, finding two people with similar face shapes and sizes to me and John shouldn't be too difficult, right?"

Ron was taken aback, puzzled. "It shouldn't be difficult. You want it?"

"I want to borrow their faces."

Ron: "???"

Abruzzi: "??????"

Ding Ze could understand the two men's reaction and explained, "Simply put, I'm going to peel off their faces completely, process them using certain methods, and make them into two masks."

"Put on those two masks, and we become them."

“Speaking of which, Ron, I need you to capture them alive, and preferably bring me their identification documents and cars along with them.”

Ron: "??????"

Abruzzi: "??????"

Why do I suddenly feel so cold even though the sun is shining brightly?

-

Ron and Abruzzi exchanged a glance, their eyes filled with genuine terror.

For the two of them...

Murder? No problem, it's nothing, I'm used to it.

Facial surgery?

This is holy crap, this is too weird, this is too scary.

However strange and frightening it may be...

Abruzzi was silent for a moment, then had to admit that this method would indeed allow him and Ding Ze to move around freely in the future, provided that...

"Mr. Ding, is it possible for others not to be able to tell the difference from this kind of mask you're talking about?" Abruzzi asked.

"You absolutely can't tell unless you look closely," Ding Ze was certain of this.

"Great!" Abruzzi was genuinely excited upon hearing this. "Ron, find him as soon as possible."

Ron felt that ever since he met Ding Ze, the three of them were like a high-speed train, rushing wildly along a track called "The Road of No Return".

What is the end of this road of no return?

Is it wealth and glory? Or is it hell?

He really can't see clearly.

But now that things have come to this, it seems there's no turning back.

“Hmm,” Ron sighed silently, agreed, and then turned the steering wheel, driving the car into a warehouse.
