Ding Ze shook his head. "I hope not."

Miami International Airport.

After hanging up the phone, Abruzzi smiled at Mickey, who had come to pick him up at the airport.

Interestingly, for some reason, the two got along quite well.

"Long time no see, are you still injured?" Abruzzi greeted him with a smile.

Previously at the InterContinental Hotel in Guadalajara, Comrade Mickey was unfortunately shot. After so many days, although he has largely recovered, he is still some distance from a full recovery.

Mickey shook his head helplessly. "No, it'll be a while. I just don't understand why I'm always the one who gets hurt."

"Haha, it's probably because the bullets like you more," Abruzzi joked.

"Get lost!" Mickey replied irritably.

Soon, the two got into the car, chatting and laughing, and headed straight for the mansion that Abruzzi had bought in the city... oh, to be precise, it was stolen.

The mansion is located in a rather secluded place.

Surrounded by lush greenery, the scenery is exceptionally beautiful.

It's worth mentioning that the mansions surrounding the main mansion also belong to Abruzzi, and the staff responsible for protecting Abruzzi's family currently live in those mansions.

Mickey couldn't help but feel envious when this was mentioned. "These employees are so lucky. They don't have to do anything all day. Maybe I should become your family's bodyguard too."

Abruzzi smiled and said, "I have absolutely no objection."

Amidst laughter and conversation, Mickey drove Abruzzi home, then met Abruzzi's wife and children, exchanged pleasantries, got into his car, and drove off back to the airport.

Mandy is on a plane, come over and have some fun.

Mickey has to pick someone up.

After arriving at the airport and waiting for about half an hour, Mandy appeared in Mickey's sight.

The current Mandy, thanks to Mickey's wealth and the large sums of money he's given her, is no longer the rebellious girl she was in the original series.

However, only their appearance is different; in terms of personality, there are actually not many changes.

This is also normal.

After all, the saying "It's easier to change mountains and rivers than to change one's nature" is not just a casual remark.

Upon seeing Mickey, Mandy greeted him with a smile, then said somewhat shyly, "There's something I need to tell you, don't be angry."

Mickey, following behind Ding Ze, has grown a lot after experiencing so much and has learned to be calm and composed.

More importantly, this is Miami, the headquarters of Dongfeng Security. Mickey wasn't worried that there might be something he couldn't handle, so he smiled and said, "What is it? Speak."

Seeing Mickey's reaction, Mandy breathed a sigh of relief and smiled. "I accidentally let it slip that Dad heard you were injured and came over."

When Mickey heard this, he was genuinely surprised and stunned, completely bewildered.

After a couple of seconds of stunned silence, Mickey came to his senses and looked behind Mandy. There he saw Terry standing next to the trash can, smoking and staring at them with a fierce expression.

Looking at Terry like this...

Mickey suddenly felt a pang of emotion.

Although it hasn't been long, Mickey feels that Terry seems to have aged a lot.

Overwhelmed with emotion, Mickey sighed silently, then smiled at Terry.

Terry is indeed a jerk, but no matter what, he's still a father.

Besides, Mickey has already gone this far; he's not only completely unafraid of Terry, but he could also crush Terry at will...

So let's just let go of all the pain from the past.

“Come on, let him come over, we’ll go back together,” Mickey said to Mandy with a smile.

Mandy grinned, turned around, and waved to Terry.

Seeing this, Terry quickly stepped forward and rushed to Mickey. "Mickey, you're so stupid, can't you dodge bullets?"

Mickey smiled, not annoyed at all. "I'm not as stupid as you. Stop talking nonsense and get in the car. Let's go have lunch."

The car is a Rolls-Royce.

Terry had never ridden in one before, and immediately felt a little awkward as he sat down in the car.

Then, not wanting to appear clueless, Terry quickly spoke up, "Mickey, I have a question for you, what's the deal with the specialty products business in Mexico? I've been having such a hard time getting any lately!"

Mickey, sitting in the driver's seat, laughed and scolded upon hearing this, "What kind of stuff are you messing around with? If you keep messing things up, you might get shot by the Dongfeng Group one day!"

Upon hearing this, Terry immediately became displeased, "Aren't you from Dongfeng Group? Who the hell dares to shoot me?"

“Anyone will do it. I told my staff in Chicago that if they see you, they’ll shut them down immediately,” Mickey replied with a laugh.

"Fxxk you!" Terry yelled immediately upon hearing this. (End of Chapter)

Chapter 283 Turning Lip into a Eunuch

Miami. (The rest of the text appears to be garbled and unrelated.)

Inside the Rolls-Royce.

Terry started swearing.

Mickey didn't hesitate and immediately retorted with a laugh.

The father and son continued arguing back and forth, creating quite a scene.

Mandy watched helplessly from the side. She wanted to say something but didn't know what to say, so she shut her mouth, turned her head to look out the window, and pretended not to hear.

Time passes slowly.

Terry had finished his tirade, and more importantly, he couldn't do anything about Mickey, so he angrily backed down and changed the subject, asking, "I heard you're in big trouble? Because of the Mexico issue, the government is going to take action against you?"

Mickey lit a cigarette and chuckled, "Look outside, do we look like we're in trouble?"

Terry turned his head toward the outside of the car.

Outside the car, Miami was as usual, with music and dancing, showing no signs of chaos. "So everything's alright?"

Mickey smiled and said, "The president has changed, so what could possibly happen? Nothing."

Terry breathed a sigh of relief.

Mickey is still his son, and no matter what, Terry still hopes that Mickey can live a good life.

If you die, you lose everything; it's good to be alive.

Terry didn't say anything more for the time being.

Mickey didn't say much, smoking a cigarette and enjoying the salty, humid heat unique to Miami, as he drove towards the villa.

We arrived at the villa.

Terry got out of the car, silently looked at the absolutely luxurious, even ridiculously luxurious, villa in front of him, and then turned his head to look around at the heavily armed security personnel...

My son has grown up and is far more capable than his father...

As the father figure, Terry couldn't help but feel a pang of unease.

“Let’s go have lunch,” Mickey said, a cigarette dangling from his lips.

Lunch had already been prepared; it was bought from the restaurant.

The three of them sat down at the luxurious dining table and began to eat;

"What are your plans next? What do you want to do?" Mickey asked Mandy.

Mandy has been to Miami several times and has done most of the must-see attractions, so she is quite familiar with Miami.

This was Terry's first time here, and everything was completely unfamiliar to him.

“Let’s take Dad around this afternoon,” Mandy suggested.

Terry, upon hearing this, stubbornly retorted, "What's so interesting about shopping here..."

The three of them got along awkwardly like this, creating a unique kind of fun in the scene.
