Peter decided to compromise once again.

Let's capture Dr. Lizard and hand him over to Sheriff Stacy.

Isn't this much stronger evidence than photographic evidence?

Meanwhile, Dr. Lizard realized he couldn't defeat Peter anytime soon and was starting to consider giving up.

His goal was simply to spread the lizard potion throughout the city.

Once the die is cast, it's too late for that stinky spider to stop it!

With this in mind, Dr. Lizard began searching for a way out.

He remembered that when he fought Spider-Man earlier, his body was wet, and Spider-Man's webs became much easier to tear.

"Hehe!" Dr. Lizard chuckled; he had found a way out.

The next moment, Peter suddenly lunged out and pounced on Dr. Lizard.

Dr. Lizard turned and ran. Although he had only lived in the city sewers for less than a day, lizards are naturally fond of this damp environment and have a much stronger sense of water than most animals.

He knew where to quickly find a water channel!

Peter didn't realize his thoughts at first, but when the sound of rushing water reached his ears, he suddenly came to his senses.

He saw through Dr. Lizard's thoughts!

But he found that he was powerless to do anything about it.

Dr. Lizard could usually dodge the spider silk he shot out.

If we had something like a bouncing spider web, we could shoot it directly in front of Dr. Lizard even if we didn't hit him, blocking his path, instead of being in such a passive position as we are now!

Dr. Lizard is very strong, which makes him incredibly powerful, allowing him to jump around in the sewers with great speed.

However, Peter gradually learned some coping skills during the chase.

His regenerative abilities are very strong, but the spine is the nerve center of vertebrates!

No matter how strong a person's resilience is, as long as it remains within the realm of living organisms, it must still adhere to basic biological laws.

Peter also went all out.

He had already decided that on one side were villains who were about to wreak havoc on the city's more than 800 million people, and on the other side were 800 million innocent New York City residents.

And Peter, even though The Amazing Spider-Man hasn't reached his peak yet, still has a strength of over 10 tons!

The difference in strength of several tons made Dr. Lizard look like a weak child in front of Peter, unable to move.

After being punched several times, Dr. Lizard felt dizzy and lightheaded, as if he had suffered a concussion.

Peter used spider silk to stick his head shut, then turned his gaze to Dr. Lizard's tail, reached out and pulled it off again.

He wanted to try and see if he could make Dr. Lizard use his energy to repair himself by constantly pulling off Dr. Lizard's tail, thereby quickly depleting the potency of the lizard medicine in his body.

In this way, Dr. Connors might be able to return to human form.

However, Peter waited for a long time, but his tail did not grow back.

It seems that the rapid regeneration of the tail is actively controlled by Dr. Lizard, rather than being a spontaneous behavior of the body.

“Dr. Lizard,” Peter greeted him.

"Do you know what I'm doing? I'm doing this for the progress of humanity. If you stop me, you're a sinner against humanity." Unable to resist, Dr. Lizard started rambling on again.

“Yes, you’re right, I am a sinner.” Peter felt he couldn’t communicate with Dr. Lizard.

He now understood that the doctor in this state was Dr. Lizard. Although he was rational, he was extreme, stubborn, and impossible to communicate with.

So he's waiting for the doctor to regain his human form.

"Survival of the fittest, natural selection!"

"I can save them, I can save everyone!"

Dr. Lizard was still raging in a state of impotent fury.

But his voice grew softer and softer, and his strength became weaker and weaker.

Anyone could tell he was all bark and no bite.

About half an hour later, Peter noticed that Dr. Lizard's body was starting to shrink, and a lot of dirt was scattered on the ground, which were cells that had died because they had not received energy to repair themselves.

The spider silk that had been tightly binding them became loose.

Finally, Dr. Lizard completely transformed back into a human face.
