Chapter 1 Peter's "New Gadget"

(PS1: Foreword: This book is about a native Tom Holland Spider-Man who accidentally gains the power of "webs," allowing him to travel to different worlds and experience the lives of different Spider-Men, constantly transforming and strengthening himself. Therefore, the protagonist's personality gradually changes from the original. If you're looking for a story where he starts off indiscriminately killing everyone or is an overpowered protagonist, you can skip this. Also, the characters' personalities in the book are based on the original characters' personalities; everything is traceable.)

(PS2: This book is also known as: If the Dutch Spider Gave Birth to the Web of Fate.)

"Of the three Spider-Man generations, he's the ugliest!"

"What rubbish!"

"No progress at all!"

"Other Spider-Men solve problems, but he creates them!"

"."

Complex accusations echoed in Peter Parker's mind, causing him to open his eyes somewhat agitated.

He didn't know what was wrong with him.

Ever since a few days ago, when a spider web suddenly appeared in his mind, these sounds have been appearing in his ears from time to time.

"Spider-Man? Are you talking about me?" Peter walked into the bathroom, rubbed his head, splashed some water to clear his head, and then stared at himself in the mirror.

About a month ago, he was bitten by a spider while participating in an extracurricular science activity with his classmates.

That evening, he developed a high fever.

When I woke up the next day, I found that my body had become different from that of an ordinary person.

After a week, he roughly figured out what had happened to him: he had been bitten by a spider and inexplicably gained the abilities of a spider.

But he didn't know what to do with this ability.

Perhaps I could become a great hero who saves the world, just like Iron Man and Captain America on TV?

Peter had seen Sokovia's video; it happened around the same time he was bitten by the spider.

They even saw the live broadcast of the battle between the Hulk and a giant Iron Man!

Therefore, many of his classmates believed that the Hulk should be killed.

However, he did disappear later, and it is unknown whether he was taken away by Iron Man or secretly imprisoned.

Peter was initially worried that he would end up like the Hulk, but his admiration for the Avengers and his desire to become a hero prompted him to use this power.

So he found the performance costume he used when he was in the school drama club, added some polymer fiber materials, and made his own hero's battle suit!

—Just like Iron Man's Iron Man suit, Hulk's shorts, and Captain America's Stars and Stripes suit.

Peter believes this suit is also his symbol!

Then, following the strange synthetic formula that appeared in his mind, he secretly used materials from the school to make highly resilient artificial spider silk and a spider silk emitter during a lab class.

And so he became a friendly neighbor. Some people called him Spider-Man, Spider-Boy, Spider-Man, etc., because of his clothes and his ability to shoot spider webs.

Although opinions are mixed and many people think he's meddling, he seems to enjoy it.

But things started to change a few days ago.

After the strange spider web appeared in his mind, some strange sounds also began to appear.

Although he couldn't see who was speaking, Peter had a strange intuition that the voices were indeed talking about him!

"But why me?"

"Other Spider-Men? Are there other people in the same situation as me?"

Peter dried his face and lay back down on the bed.

He had to force himself to sleep because it was already 3 a.m. and he had something very important to do tomorrow!

Tony Stark, the famous Iron Man, sent a letter today saying he will visit him tomorrow!

"Why is Mr. Stark looking for me? Has he discovered my true identity and wants to invite me to join the Avengers?" Peter wondered expectantly, slowly closing his eyes.

When he closed his eyes, the giant spider web in his mind involuntarily reappeared before him.

But this time, the spider web is different from the others!

On the spider web, a strange bright spot appeared at one of the intersections of the many threads!

"what is this?"

Peter focused his attention on the bright spot with some doubt.

next moment.

"what!"

He felt as if his consciousness was being pulled out of his body and then instantly sucked into that bright spot!

-

"Where am I?"

When Peter came to his senses, he found himself no longer in his bed at home, but in a secluded little room.

In front of him was a small table made of boxes pieced together, with several photos and a pile of documents on it.

"what!"

At that moment, Peter called out.

In his brain, a nerve was trembling violently. Upon closer inspection, he could see a glowing nerve thread slowly reaching towards the glowing point on the giant web in his brain.

When the threads and the points of light connected, countless fragments of memory flooded into his mind!

It is now 1933, and New York is in the midst of the painful Great Depression.

Because he angered the wrong person, his uncle Ben Parker was tortured and murdered by Norman Osborn, known as "The Green Goblin," New York's biggest blackmailer.

Meanwhile, the Green Goblin extended his dark and sinister hand to Aunt May and Peter Parker, attempting to kill them.

Fortunately, they were rescued by Ben Ulrich, a photographer for the Daily Bugle. Peter also gained Ulrich's appreciation because of his personality and became Ulrich's helper.

During a recent operation to secretly film a deal between Green Goblin and the mob, Peter was accidentally bitten by a spider that crawled out of a cursed spider statue they were trading with. In the enchanted vision, he met the Spider God Annecy and thus gained mysterious and powerful new abilities, becoming Spider-Man!

But because of this, he discovered even more things hidden in the darkness.

For example, Yurik, whom he respected, was actually blackmailing the Green Goblin gang, getting hush money from Osborn by covering up their actions!

Not long ago, Yurik told Peter that he was going to expose all the evidence he had secretly collected about the Green Goblin!

Peter didn't know why he suddenly did this; perhaps it was a pang of conscience?

However, that very night, he was shot dead in his home by J. Jonah Jameson, the person he had contacted to expose!

Fortunately, Felicia Hardy took advantage of the chaos to seize the evidence that Yurik had hidden and handed it over to Peter.

Peter learned some of the truth from Felicia.

Yurik and Felicia both knew he was Spider-Man, and it was because of this that Yurik decided to expose Green Goblin and bring him to justice.

But Felicia told him not to trust Jonah!

Peter could hardly believe it; he still remembered what Jonah had said when Yurik brought him into the Daily Bugle:

“There are a million very sad stories out there, Parker. But none of them are special in this tragic age, until… we make them special!”

"I can give them facts and data; Ben's photos can help them truly understand!"

“I will tell our readers what they should think about the shitty state this city is in!”

“This dark age needs someone to stand up and light it up, to let people see the darkness within the darkness! Your Uncle Ben and Aunt May are such people, and so am I, J. Jonah Thomson!”

How can someone who can say such a thing not believe it?

Is this the darkest time of our era?
