Zicomo heard that after the Dementors returned, they sucked the souls of a group of non-death row prisoners.

As for how he knew, it was naturally because some of his men were among those Dementors.

At first, Zicomo was just having a hamster fetish and wanted to catch two to keep as collectibles.

After capturing and imprisoning them, Zicomo found that he seemed to have nowhere to keep them.

These portable central air conditioners, which have a built-in freezing effect on the environment, will freeze and kill plants wherever they go, making the "Zen Garden" completely unsuitable for them.

Moreover, Zicomo had nothing to feed them. So Zicomo released them back into the herd, essentially letting them roam freely.

To his surprise, even after the two Dementors returned to Azkaban, Zikomo was still able to sense them.

And so, the two Dementors became Zicomo's inside players in Azkaban, even though he didn't really need them.

Zicomo's life was uneventful, but Harry's was not so easy.

As the saying goes, a friend of a friend is a friend.

However, this statement does not hold true between Harry and Draco.

Although they both have a mutual friend named Zicomo, they are mortal enemies, or perhaps they are bickering lovers.

Zicomo is also hard to describe.

Although these two disliked each other and would fight every now and then, each time they would only suffer minor injuries at most.

I don't know if they were reluctant to use drastic measures, or if they really couldn't do anything to the other party.

Of course, most of the time it was Draco who provoked Harry. The kid had learned his lesson and no longer resorted to tricks; he just faced off openly. As a result, the professors couldn't easily stop him, and after a while, they all got used to it, some even joining the ranks of spectators.

Most of the duels between the two ended in Draco's victory.

Although Harry was talented, he was still no match for Draco, who had been enhanced by Zicomo's runes.

But Harry wasn't stupid; although his reasoning skills were a bit flawed, they were quite useful most of the time.

He recalled his first duel with Draco last year, when Draco wasn't as strong as he thought, and they were at most evenly matched.

However, since the Easter holidays, Draco has undergone a significant change. Not only has he made great progress in spellcasting, but his attitude towards people has also changed.

Before that, Draco was outspoken and would mock anything that displeased him, spitting venom like a viper.

But since the holiday, Draco, though still arrogant, has become much more composed and no longer wears his emotions on his sleeve.

Not only that, during the summer vacation, Harry discovered that Draco had become friends with Zicomo. And their relationship was so good that Draco would visit Zicomo.

Zicomo was the most powerful and intelligent peer Harry had ever met, making it hard for him not to associate Draco's changes with Zicomo.

After some reasoning, Harry approached Zicomo, who was fishing, and shared his conclusions.

Zicomo didn't deny it, nodding and saying, "Draco's strength improvement was indeed due to my help. What, you want to do the same?"

“Of course! What price do I need to pay?” Harry asked.

Although Harry wanted to improve his strength, he wasn't the type to take things for free. He knew that every bit of power came at a price.

Zicomo thought for a moment; he no longer needed Galleons. Since Lani developed the plant mutation potion, he had acquired several more Marigolds. Now he could harvest hundreds of Galleons daily.

...... ...... .......

As for why not more, the main reason is that too many Galleons would disrupt the wizarding world's monetary system.

Finally, Zicomo offered his price: "I'm quite interested in the Black family's book collection. You can ask your godfather if I can make a copy."

Zicomo's words relieved Harry; it wasn't something he couldn't do.

His godfather once said that he wanted to find a way to thank Zicomo.

Without Zicomo's help, Sirius Black would probably still be a wanted criminal by the Ministry of Magic, living in darkness.

Unlike now, I can stroll freely in Diagon Alley and occasionally go to a bar with Lupin for a couple of drinks.

Of course, Harry didn't immediately agree to Zicomo's conditions. Instead, he said he needed to go back and discuss it with Sirius. After all, it was the Black family's library, and he didn't have the authority to make a direct decision.

Sirius replied the next day, agreeing to Zicomotti's request.

However, since the Black family had too many books to mail by owl, he invited Zicomo to his home during the Christmas holidays to pick up the books.

This suited Zicomo perfectly; what he had never really wanted was the Black family's book collection. Of course, it would have been even better if there were books that interested him.

Zicomo's true purpose was to hide a Horcrux belonging to Voldemort, Slytherin's locket, in the Black family's old house.

This Horcrux was originally hidden by Voldemort in a cave on a remote island.

Inside the cave, Voldemort placed the locket at the bottom of a glass container, then filled the container with a magical potion that would make people feel like they were dying. Only after drinking the potion could one obtain the locket.

(Don't ask why the water wasn't scooped away; it's magic.)

Furthermore, Voldemort placed a large number of Infernals in the waters surrounding the island to protect the Horcruxes. This was probably the most heavily guarded of all his Horcruxes.

Of course, this excludes Hufflepuff's Cup of Gold, which is still in Gringotts.

Chapter 150 Visiting the Black Family, Slytherin's Locket

Slytherin's locket was the best protected by Voldemort, and also the first one to be discovered.

His henchman Regulus discovered his evil deeds of creating Horcruxes and then had a change of heart.

Regulus decided to reform himself. He drank the potion and had Kreacher, the Black family's house-elf, take the locket and destroy it. He himself was dragged into the water by the Inferi and drowned.

However, Voldemort's Horcruxes were not something a house-elf could destroy. When Kreacher returned to the Black family, he found that he could not destroy the locket, so he hid it away.

Zicomo wanted this more than the Black family's book collection.

He is a hamster-type player, commonly known as a collector.

Of the items belonging to the four founders of Hogwarts, he now possesses the Ravenclaw crown, and the Gryffindor sword is also readily available.

Now all that's left is Slytherin's locket and Hufflepuff's golden cup.

Coincidentally, Zicomo did not find any trace of the legacy left by these two at Hogwarts.

Don't talk to him about the Chamber of Secrets in Slytherin. That place only has a basilisk, so it can hardly be considered a legacy.

These four people had so many things in their lives, so why is it that only one of them has survived to this day?

Ravenclaw's heritage is associated with her tiara, Gryffindor's with his sword, and Zicomo would never believe that Slytherin and Hufflepuff's heritage has nothing to do with their lockets and chalices.

…………

Christmas arrived in the blink of an eye. This year, Harry didn't have to spend Christmas at Hogwarts anymore; Sirius Black took him back to the Black family home, and even Lupin came. The three of them had a wonderful Christmas.

The next day, Zicomo brought Hermione to the house as promised, while Lani chose to read in the "Zen Garden." She rarely went out unless absolutely necessary.

"Zicomo, please come in!"

Harry was overjoyed to see Zicomo, because it meant he could improve his strength.

"Cough cough!" Hermione coughed twice.

Harry then noticed Hermione behind Zicomo.

“Hermione, you’re here too? I’m sorry I didn’t see you earlier,” Harry said apologetically.

Hermione rolled her eyes. Although Zicomo was tall, he didn't completely block her view. Even so, Harry hadn't seen her; she was clearly eager to become stronger.

After entering, everyone exchanged pleasantries, and then Zicomo quickly steered the conversation to the main topic.

"So, have you decided which rune to choose?" Zicomo asked Harry.

Even before the holidays started, Zicomo had given Harry a rune compendium and let him choose for himself.

Harry shook his head and said, "No, how about you pick one out for me, Zicomo? As long as it's different from Draco's."

Zicomo hadn't expected Harry to be so indecisive. As for why he didn't want Draco's approach, it was simply a young man's desire to be different.

“In that case, how about the Ghost runes from the Summoning tree? Draco has a dragon, and you can have a ghost too. This rune set is pretty strong,” Zicomo suggested.

He suggested Harry choose this option mainly because he was curious about what kind of ghost Harry would summon.

Yes, just like the rune for summoning dragons, the rune for summoning ghosts also summons ghosts in a completely random way.

Of course, Zicomo didn't screw over Harry; the runes were indeed quite powerful.

Basic rune "Ghost Companion": Summons a ghost that can fire psychic projectiles with a penetrating effect.

Advanced Rune "Vibrant Companion": Increases Ghost Companion's attack speed by 50%.

Advanced rune "Understanding Each Other": A telepathic connection between the ghost companion and the summoner, transcending distance and allowing eye contact.

Ultimate Rune "Spirit of Vengeance": Increases the attack power of ghost companions by 30% and allows them to temporarily possess the summoner.

The power of this rune set lies in the fact that it does not require extra mana to maintain the amplification of the ghosts, because the summoned ghosts themselves possess mana.

The summoner only needs to expend magic when summoning a ghost, which is perfect for a young wizard like Harry who doesn't have much magic.

After all, not everyone is as wealthy as Draco's father, able to afford a mana-boosting potion for his son.

As for Sirius Black, he has the money but not the connections. So Zicomo didn't bring it up.

Harry trusted Zicomo, and he agreed to Zicomo's suggestion without much thought.

Seeing that Harry had agreed, Zicomo said, "In that case, let's begin. By the way, you might hear Harry screaming in a moment; that's normal."
