Zicomo quickly cast a modified version of the head-soaking spell on himself, the kind that could cover his entire body.

Upon reaching the bottom, Zicomo saw Dumbledore appear beside him using Apparition.

Zicomo: "Wasn't it agreed that you can't Apparate at Hogwarts?"

“The headmaster always has some privileges,” Dumbledore winked at Zicomo.

Zicomo did not dwell on the issue.

He looked around at his surroundings and found many bones on the ground.

Judging from the shape of the bones, they should be from a rat.

The reason I use "should" is because the bones of these mice are excessively large, even larger than those of a typical cat.

This surprised Zicomo; were the sewers at Hogwarts really that rich in nutrients?

"It seems our basilisk has poor digestion."

Zicomo's words made Dumbledore laugh.

The two walked and talked in the underground passage, searching for the location of the Chamber of Secrets in Slytherin.

"Use your gun."

Zicomo pulled out his shotgun, about to fire a shot at the door, when Dumbledore stopped him.

"What's wrong?" Zicomo asked, puzzled.

"Making too much noise will alert the basilisk inside, and besides, this is a mechanism left by Slytherin, so I think it's better to keep it. Let's start from here."

Dumbledore cast a Silent Charm and pointed to the side next to the door.

Zicomo had no objection to this; it didn't matter where he attacked.

He fired a shot that created a large hole in the wall, and the two of them crawled through the hole.

Upon entering, Zicomo discovered that the surroundings were all water, with only a path in the very center, surrounded by snake-head statues about two meters high, guarding a huge human face statue at the end.

Zicomo knew that the face belonged to Slytherin, and that the Basilisk was hiding in the space behind his mouth.

Dumbledore looked around and said, "This is probably Slytherin's Chamber of Secrets, but where is the Basilisk?"

“Probably over there?” Zicomo pointed to Slytherin’s mouth.

Dumbledore looked closely and noticed that the mustache at the mouth of the human-faced statue did indeed resemble a door.

"Okay, so how do we get in?"

Zicomo glanced at Dumbledore and said, "Why should we go in? Why don't we just call it out?"

“Oh, that’s not a good idea,” Dumbledore disagreed with Zicomo’s approach.

It's winter now, and basilisks are usually in a state of hibernation, which is why he agreed to come to the secret chamber with Zicomo to see the basilisk and think about how to deal with it.

"Don't worry, I'm fully prepared."

Zicomo took out his wand and began waving it at the rubble that had just been fired from the shotgun.

The pile of rubble transformed into nearly a hundred majestic roosters.
