Karen Adams suddenly exploded in rage due to her bad temper, "Do I have to make it clear for you?"

"Fine! I am talking about you, Emilia. Move aside! Can't you see that there's a long line behind?!"

In fact, she only got close to Mary Grimm back then because she wanted to seek a wife for her young son.

Although Emilia had a marriage before this and even bore a daughter, the Adams weren't a wealthy family either. Would there be any decent woman out there who would be willing to suffer with her son?

Facing such harsh words along with how everyone was staring at her, Emilia frowned and said, "Well, you should at least wait for your turn, shouldn't you?

"You're here to check on something, so can I. Why are you chasing me out of here?"

This might be the Military Department, but it wasn't part of the military. It was just a place where the army could communicate with the local government.

Although they were all wearing uniforms, most of them were just officers. None of them were really soldiers. Otherwise, how dare Karen Adams make such a huge scene here?

"Emilia, you've really grown some balls!

"Is there anyone in your family who has joined the army?

"Is this the place that you should be at?"

Karen Adams had managed to express the best qualities of a 'Karen'. She was spewing out words like a machine gun and wouldn't stop. "You're angry, huh?

"When did he join the army?!

Since Karen wanted something else from Emilia, she had done her research about the entire family. Karen Adams knew that family from head to toe.

Due to the trust that Mary Grimm had in her, Mary Grimm told her everything without any caution and even took Karen Adams as someone she could spill her heart to.

In the end, those words became a weapon for Karen Adams!

Emilia looked pissed, but she was raised as an elegant lady. She had been educated since young, and she couldn't stoop low enough to talk to such a ruthless woman!

However, with so many people staring at her, she felt mad as well. Then, she quickly said, "I am here to check on my husband's records!"

Oliver Walker must have been a soldier!

She was the one who sent him off on the train! How could that be fake?!

Plus, Oliver Walker had only returned because he got injured. The Military Department would definitely have his files!

She had not been called in this manner for a long time, but ever since Oliver Walker returned, she had been hearing it repeatedly for the past 4 days.

Emilia felt as if her head was about to burst!
