The female medic turned her head, not even glancing at him: "You're from the fourth platoon of the second company, right?"

"Yes!"

Zhang Chi's voice grew louder with each note.

"What's your name?" the female military doctor asked.

Zhang Chi looked at Xiao Haiyang: "What's the name of the one who fainted?"

“Report, his name is Zhou Shengchen,” Xiao Haiyang replied, then smiled at the female military doctor, “Doctor, do you remember me? I’m the one who sent that person there.”

"I was wondering why you looked so familiar. Oh, it's you!" The female medic nodded, then looked down at the ledger. "Second Company, Fourth Platoon, Zhou Shengchen, fainted due to low blood sugar. Yes, there is such a person."

She then told Zhang Chi to have someone come to her place at noon to pick up vitamins and left without any hesitation!

She may not feel any attachment, but others do!

Zhang Chi was staring longingly in the direction she had left!

No, it's reluctance to part.

After giving the certificate to Pan Zhen, who had come on the orders of the instructor, Zhou Shengchen estimated the time and realized it was lunchtime. So he took Huangfu Shumin, who was completely bewildered by his charade, to the cafeteria.

After scanning the room, Zhou Shengchen immediately spotted the table where his classmates from his photography class were sitting.

Zhou Shengchen didn't want to go over, but unfortunately, all the seats for Huangfu Shumin and Xia Langlang's meal were occupied, so he had no choice but to return to his own class.

However, before leaving, he left a bottle of beef sauce for Huangfu Shumin and the others.

If the cafeteria weren't so crowded, Zhou Shengchen would have gladly prepared dozens more dishes for them.

For Zhou Shengchen, who possesses the "Silver Eyes of Time and Space" that controls the power of time and space, creating a small world where living beings exist is definitely impossible, but creating an independent small space on his body is still possible.

The small space Zhou Shengchen had created was filled with countless items, most of which he had looted overseas: machine guns, grenades, artillery shells, gold, red wine, diamonds...

In fact, if Zhou Shengchen could sell those shady items, he could instantly become a billionaire.

Chapter Twenty-Six: Pan Zhen, the Troublemaker

Getting back to the topic, because he often uses his superpowers to sneak out of the country, and Zhou Shengchen doesn't like the food abroad, he specially set aside a place to store food.

Some of the food was made by Zhou Shengchen himself when he was bored, some was bought from the supermarket, but most of it was ordered from a relatively clean restaurant with surveillance cameras.

Zhou Shengchen didn't know exactly how much food was in the small space.

But he felt that if he were the only one eating it, it would be fine for eight or ten years.

The canteen at the military training base.

Zhou Shengchen looked at the three dishes and soup on the table, a slight look of surprise in his eyes.

Although he already knew the food during military training would be bad, he didn't expect it to be this bad.

The two peerless beauties: stir-fried green and red bell peppers.

The ultimate double eggplant dish: stewed eggplant with tomatoes.

Potato Battle: Stir-fry potato peels with potato slices.

The three dishes were all more inhuman than the last.

As for the egg drop soup, Zhou Shengchen felt it was just dishwater, with only a few scallions and nothing else in it.

"You've wasted the food!"

Looking at the dishes on the table, Zhou Shengchen shook his head helplessly.

"This dish is far too bland and unpalatable!" Lu Qiaochuan said, his lips twitching as he took a bite of the eggplant.

Xiao Haiyang said, "Based on my experience of repeating a year for two years, let me tell you this: the meals will basically be like this for the next twenty days. Just bear with it and it will pass."

Lu Qiaochuan asked curiously, "What if you can't stand it?"

Zhou Shengchen interjected, "The convenience store has Lao Gan Ma chili sauce; they can add some oil for you. Chili can trick your stomach, making you feel that these dishes and steamed buns aren't so hard to swallow."

"Oh my god, wouldn't that kill Hao-ge?" Yu Hao said with a mournful face.

"I want to eat dumplings," Bi Shisan said calmly.

"Gah gah gah. There are no dumplings, only dry, big steamed buns, the kind you have to eat for twenty days straight." Zhou Shengchen made a strange noise, pouring cold water on Bi Shisan.

"By the way, have you guys noticed that the scallion soup we're having today is a bit bland?" Lu Qiaochuan suddenly said while drinking the soup.

"Actually, this is just a low-key egg drop soup," Xiao Haiyang corrected, then joked, "If you drink it for another two days, you'll be drinking eggshells."

Seeing their dejected looks, Zhou Shengchen pulled out a jar of beef sauce from somewhere and silently placed it on the table.

"Am I seeing things? This is beef sauce?" Xiao Haiyang rubbed his eyes, unsure.

Yu Hao's eyes lit up: "You're not mistaken, it really is beef sauce."

"Zhou Shengchen, from now on you're my older brother. I'll do whatever you ask me to do." Lu Qiaochuan said excitedly as he opened the lid of the beef sauce, scooped out a spoonful with a clean spoon, and ate it with a steamed bun.

"Brother Chen, please take care of me in the future!" Yu Hao said excitedly.

"Where did you come from?" Xiao Haiyang looked at Zhou Shengchen in surprise. "If I remember correctly, the convenience store only has Lao Gan Ma chili sauce."

Zhou Shengchen said calmly, "Knowing that there will be military training, we naturally want to be well prepared. Everyone, let's eat!"

The group then began to eat heartily, and even three students from other classes at their table got some food.

After the meal, Zhou Shengchen and the others washed the dishes and chopsticks, then went back to their dormitory to get toiletries before heading to the public bathroom.

I need to take a lunch break later. I've been training all morning, and I can't sleep without showering because I feel sticky all over.

When the group arrived, a long queue had already formed.

"Attention everyone."

"Line up properly, only three can go in at a time."

"Don't you dare cut in line, or if I catch you, you'll have to queue again, understand?"

The dormitory supervisor stood outside the bathroom with a stern face, lecturing the people queuing up.

"Okay!" everyone said in unison.

At the back of the line, Lu Qiaochuan suddenly turned to Xiao Haiyang, who had military training experience, and asked, "Do we have to wait this long to shower every day?"

Xiao Haiyang shook his head and said, "I'll correct two of your mistakes. It's not every day, it's once every five days. And it's not taking a bath, it's having close contact with cold water for three minutes, and then being kicked out."

"Then what's the point of taking a bath like this?" Lu Qiaochuan asked, puzzled.

Xiao Haiyang replied in a serious tone: "It makes you feel, both psychologically and physiologically, that you are still living in a civilized era."

"The emergence of writing is the hallmark of humanity's entry into the civilized era, not bathing," Bi Shisan corrected from the side.

As the group was chatting, someone suddenly called out from behind them, "Hey, you from the electro-photography class, your class's vitamins!"

As soon as the words were spoken, a "plop" sound was heard, and a package of vitamins that had already been opened was thrown directly in front of the group.

Before anyone could react, the vitamin pills were scattered all over the ground.

Zhou Shengchen and Xiao Haiyang looked back together and saw Pan Zhen leading a few people from the directing class to stand behind them.

Zhou Shengchen glanced at the vitamins on the ground, his expression turning slightly cold.

From childhood to adulthood, few people have dared to be so presumptuous in front of him.

Zhou Shengchen still remembers the last time he met an ugly Chinese man abroad who provoked him like Pan Zhen, and he broke his neck.

Just as Yu Hao was about to pick up the vitamins on the ground, Xiao Haiyang reached out and grabbed him, then looked at Pan Zhen with a cold face and said, "You pick it up for me."

Pan Zhen looked at him defiantly: "You couldn't catch it yourself, so why should I pick it up?"

Instantly, Xiao Haiyang flew into a rage and roared, "I'll make you pick it up for me!"

Pan Zhen glanced at him dismissively, without making any move.

At the same time, the directing students behind Pan Zhen stepped forward and stood with him.

"Hey, hey, stop arguing, stop arguing, forget it, forget it."

Seeing that the tense atmosphere between the two sides might lead to a fight, Yu Hao quickly stepped in front of Xiao Haiyang and gave him a wink, saying, "We're going to take a shower soon, let's take a shower first."

As he spoke, he squatted down to pick up the vitamin tablets from the ground.

“Yes, Haiyang. He needs to take a bath, so let’s just forget about it.” Lu Qiaochuan glared at Pan Zhen, then squatted down to help Yu Hao pick up the trash.

"Hey, Yu Hao, what are you doing here? Girls take a shower in ten minutes. It's not safe for you to take a shower at this hour!" Pan Zhen said sarcastically.

Xiao Haiyang immediately flew into a rage and yelled at Pan Zhen, "Are you asking for a beating?"

Lu Qiaochuan quickly stopped him: "Alright, alright, alright."

Xiao Haiyang angrily asked, "Which side are you on?"

Lu Qiaochuan said, "This isn't a problem on either side?"

"What's wrong with that?" Xiao Haiyang said angrily.

"Oh ho!" Pan Zhen continued to stand there, leisurely and sarcastic, "Fighting among ourselves!"

"I find you absolutely annoying. Apologize right now!" Lu Qiaochuan, who is usually good-tempered, was now furious and yelled at Pan Zhen.

"Apologize to me," Yu Hao followed.

Chapter Twenty-Seven: The Angry Instructor

Zhou Shengchen stepped forward and looked coldly at Pan Zhen: "If you apologize now, I can pretend nothing happened."

Pan Zhen laughed heartily upon hearing this, completely disregarding the three men's words: "Who do you think you are? I'm not apologizing, so what? What can you do about it? Come and hit me if you dare!"

Looking at his smug expression, Zhou Shengchen had to admit that he was genuinely a little angry at that moment.

"I'll give you one last chance. Pick up the vitamins and apologize to Yu Hao, and I can pretend nothing happened." Zhou Shengchen's gaze was like a knife as he stared intently at Pan Zhen.

Pan Zhen curled his lip, clearly not taking Zhou Shengchen's words to heart, with an indifferent expression on his face.
