He gave Veronica a clear and measured answer.

"in addition--"

Amata added, a decisive glint in her eyes:

"The bounty for the pioneering order has been increased to 3 gold coins."

The previously set bounty of 1 gold coins seemed too conservative in the face of the fact that even Michael's team had failed.

The dangers posed by the Black Language Caves likely far exceed initial assessments.

……

"Tsk tsk, this is truly a delicacy that even vampires would find irresistible."

Ron downed the lava fish stew that Carolina had carefully prepared, feeling the scalding hot broth, which seemed to contain the essence of the earth, slide down his throat.

He smacked his lips contentedly, the unique aroma of sulfur and deep-sea delicacies still lingering on his tongue.

"The power of the 'Soup Master' entry is truly extraordinary."

A fleeting blush of satisfaction crossed his pale face.

Carolina, standing to the side, beamed with delight, her bloodshot eyes gleaming with anticipation.

Ron is finally going to start building her own dungeon!

"What kinds of monster servants do I need to hire?"

she asked eagerly.

Ron put down the empty bowl, the bone china making a crisp, light sound against the stone table.

"Just decide for yourself."

His tone was casual, with the languid confidence characteristic of a vampire:

"No matter what race or rank of the monster, it can shine with unexpected brilliance in my hands."

"Ok!"

Compared to Lilith's previous doubts, Carolina showed almost blind trust in Ron.

She immediately stood up:

"Then I'll go take a look around the recruitment market later."

Ron then headed to the E-rank dungeon construction site that Carolina had purchased—

An abandoned underground prison, filled with an ominous atmosphere.

This place exudes a heavy sense of historical dust and despair, and its scale far surpasses that of Lilith's Black Whisper Caves.

The tattered holy emblem at the entrance indicates that it was once a place where the church imprisoned heretics.

The interior was pitch black, but fortunately Ron had the [Advanced Night Vision] skill, which allowed him to clearly outline its massive and oppressive structure.

Basement level: Minor offender ward.

This place is relatively "clean".

The vast space was divided by crisscrossing passageways, with densely packed, neatly arranged small stone cells on both sides.

Even the cold moonlight could not penetrate the thick rock layers.

Second basement level: the prison area for serious offenders.

The environment suddenly turned harsh.

A deep, dark corridor, seemingly leading to hell, runs through it, flanked by separate cells with heavy iron doors.

The iron gate had only a small, fist-sized vent, which created a suffocating sense of oppression.

The air still seemed to hold the lingering sounds of painful wails.

The third underground level: the execution ground for heretics.

This is the deepest and most terrifying area.

There were only three enormous cells, but the interior was chilling—

The rusty, terrifying instruments of torture are like silent monsters:

The menacing "Iron Maiden" opens its spiked interior, with a barbed iron cage hanging low, and other unidentifiable instruments stained with dark dirt.

This place was once the final battleground where faith and torture clashed.

Overall, the layout of this underground prison is well-organized and clearly divided, making it far superior to Lilith's primitive grotto.

As soon as Ron stepped out of the gloomy prison gates, he encountered Carolina, who was returning with a large horde of monsters.

A blush of excitement graced her fair face.

“I hired fifteen mad rats, ten earth elementals, fifteen slimes, ten wraiths, and ten giant wolf spiders.”

At this point, the vampire girl pointed to four monsters that were clearly of a higher level.

"Oh right, there are four higher-level monsters that can be bosses: the LV10 Rotten Flesh Gruk, the LV10 Spore Spider Siraya, the LV10 Rock Sac Bolum, and the LV10 Giant Bone Kem, which makes a total of 100 people."

Her calculations were incredibly precise.

"How many gold coins did all of this cost in total?"

Ron asked casually.

"Exactly 2000 gold coins!"

Carolina's smile was radiant:

"The design fee I promised you was 2000 gold, and I didn't keep a single coin. I gave it all to these servants!"

Ron thought to himself: 2000 gold coins!

What a spendthrift little vampire who doesn't know the value of money! Needless to say, he's definitely squandered a lot of gold coins on those four flashy but impractical "high-level BOSSes".

In Ron's view, whether these so-called monster bosses exist or not has little impact on the dungeon's completion rate.

The money is all gone, there's no point in saying more.

Ron immediately began setting up his "masterpiece".

First level (minor offender ward):

Let's leave it to the slimes and vengeful spirits, and add a boss to keep things in check.

He mentally scanned the panel of a slime:

[Name: Slime]

[Race: Elemental Creature]

[Level: LV1]

[Experience: 0/20]

[Racial Trait: Adhesiveness]

Skill Slot 1: Slime Spray, Skill Slot 2: Empty

As expected of the cornerstone at the very bottom of the monster chain, its skills are as plain as a stubborn rock, and its talents offer no surprises either, making it a veritable experience gift pack.

Chapter 31 Giant Bone Kem

After looking at the slime, Ron turned his attention to the vengeful spirit:

[Name: Vengeful Spirit]

[Race: Undead]

[Level: LV1]

[Experience: 0/20]

Racial Trait: Physical Immunity

Skill Slot 1: Weakness Curse, Skill Slot 2: Empty

Even the basic configuration is barely enough.

Should the vengeful spirit's 'weakness curse' be given to the slime?

It doesn't seem like there's been any fundamental change... However, giving the slime's 'slime spit' to the vengeful spirit might create some unexpected sparks?

Having made his decision, Ron immediately transferred the slime spray from the 10 slimes onto the 10 vengeful spirits.

Then, his gaze fell upon [Rock Burum], one of the four bosses:

[Name: Iwana Polum]

[Race: Elemental Creature]

[Level: LV10]

[Experience: 0/108]

[Racial Trait: Steadfast Will]

Skill Slot 1: Rumble of Shattered Rocks, Skill Slot 2: Magnetic Adsorption, Skill Slot 3: Empty

This big guy's skills are interesting...

Why not take it apart and put it on a slime that only has an empty shell?

Without hesitation, he stripped the skills [Rumble of Rocks] and [Magnetic Adsorption] from the Rock Sac Polum and then gently "pressed" them into the body of a slime that had lost its slime-spitting ability and whose skill gauge was completely empty.

"Okay, let's leave it like this for the first try."

He nodded with satisfaction:

"Let these slimes, vengeful spirits, and this 'lone commander' Rock Burum stay on this floor."

He waved his hand, and the monsters dispersed on their own, blending into the shadows and corners of the prison area.

Ron then led the remaining monsters into the darkness below.
