As it turns out, playing Dou Dizhu (a popular Chinese card game) is also a skill.
So half an hour later, Funina lost the match by a narrow margin of 25 to 100.
"Hehe~ Tonight's mine!"
Fucarus makes a victory sign.
"No, no!" Funina laid out her cards. "Let's play again, best of three!"
"What? You didn't say that before."
"They didn't say before that it was a best-of-three game by default!"
Despite being in the wrong, Funina was defiant and unwilling to back down.
“I think…” Su Chen said in a low voice, “we can switch to another game.”
"No! My motto in life is 'Get up from where you fall down!'"
Su Chen thought to himself, "Are you going to keep falling down wherever you fall?"
Fukaros clearly thought the same thing, and thus readily agreed to Funina's request.
An hour later, as expected, Funinna suffered another crushing defeat.
"I...I lost again ┭┮﹏┭┮" Or2
Su Chen was speechless: "You actually used 'actually'? At this rate, even the God of Gamblers couldn't save you."
With tears welling up in her eyes and her lips quivering, Fu Ningna said, "But I've already tried my best."
"That's why I asked you to change the competition content just now."
"Then tell me, what do I need to compete in to win?"
"Uh..."
After thinking about it carefully, Su Chen realized that there really wasn't much of a chance of winning.
"Alright, alright~ A bet's a bet, right?" Fukaros said, beaming. "You can go home and rest tonight."
Funina scoffed, "You don't even have a body, what more do you want?"
"Hehe~ Don't worry about that. Even if it's just a consciousness, with my current power, I can temporarily materialize my body. After all, it's not like I'm going to fight... Hmm, it does count as fighting, though not that kind of fighting." Fukaros pondered. Fighting, well, that's what some humans call it.
Su Chen was embarrassed. Fukalos, can you be a little more reserved?
He discovered that since the crisis in Fontaine was resolved, Fukaros had increasingly revealed her true nature. He had thought she was a dignified and virtuous goddess, like the Great Tree King and Raiden Shin, but he never expected her to be a demon like Alice.
"You!" Funina looked aggrieved and was furious. "We clearly agreed on this before."
Fukaros said matter-of-factly, "But wasn't it supposed to be a wedding? Now that the wedding is over, we'll decide who stays in Ryder's room tonight through a competition, right? You agreed to that, didn't you?"
“┭┮﹏┭┮ Ryder…” Unable to argue with Fucaros, Furina could only turn to her husband for help, “We’re getting married during the day, and you’re going to sleep with other women at night. Do you really want that to happen?”
Su Chen: "..."
Hey, hey, hey, don't talk like it's a scene from a Japanese adult film.
“A bet is a bet,” Fukaros said seriously. “Miss Frinina, you don’t want the people of Fontaine to say that Lord Water God is an untrustworthy person, do you?”
"And they don't know..."
Fu Ningna muttered to herself.
But in the end, they compromised.
She walked out of the room, looking back every few steps; if she had been any slower, Su Chen would have tried to stop her.
boom!
The moment the door was closed, the light source was also cut off.
The corridor outside was deserted and cold.
┭┮﹏┭┮
Funina walked down the corridor for a while, making a clattering sound with her footsteps, but the more she thought about it, the more resentful she became. Why? Today was a major event in her life. She had been busy for so many days, only to have Fukaros steal it from her in the end.
Even though the wedding was given to her, it should have been hers to begin with... No, no, Funina, you have to pull yourself together! You can't just give up like this, you have to at least...
Eavesdrop!
Funina slipped back to the door of the room and pressed her ear against it.
There was no sound of talking inside.
All she could hear were some strange, sizzling sounds like something sticky, and a drawn-out sound of suppressed emotion, as if something was being suppressed. After listening for a while, Funina's cheeks flushed red.
"That Fukaros is so audacious!"...Frinina thought to herself, "How come I never knew she was like this before...God?"
No, no, that's not the point.
My heart was racing, I became nervous, and I felt incredibly resentful and wronged.
She was the one who arrived first.
Whether she met Ryder or married him, why was she the only one who left in the end, and even Ryder didn't try to stop her?
As she pondered, the light in Funina's eyes gradually dimmed. She straightened up, sighed softly, and prepared to leave.
But just then, the door suddenly opened.
"Eh?"
Seeing Fukaros standing at the door, Funina looked astonished.
"What are you standing there for?" Fukalos chuckled, pulled her inside, and then walked out of the room himself. "The playtime is over. Consider it what humans call a wedding night prank, Funina. What follows is a major event in your life."
Funina was stunned for a while before she finally understood. Looking at Fukaros's smiling expression, she sniffed and said, "Fukaros...you're so nice."
"Alright, alright." Fukaros smiled gently. "Frinina, consider this my compensation for the past five hundred years, an apology to you. Go inside quickly, or I'll regret it."
"What apology? I never blamed you in the first place."
"Then you come out, and I'll go in?"
"Never!"
bang~
The door is closed.
Fu Ningna let out a soft breath, turned her head and saw Su Chen coming out of the bathroom, who was shirtless and drying his hair with a towel.
The two looked at each other.
"Funina?"
"You, you, you, you..." Why aren't you dressed?! The girl opened her mouth, then dashed into the bathroom. "I'm going to take a shower!!!"

Sorry for the delay in posting this.
I should have written it a long time ago. I was even updating the side stories before, but I suddenly got sick and it lasted for more than a week. Then my cough has continued until now, almost half a month, and I'm really exhausted.
I don't know if it's because I updated too much before, or if the virus was just too bad in winter, but I feel like my physical condition has definitely deteriorated a lot. Maybe it's because I'm getting older ε=(′ο`*))) Sigh~
The extra chapter was interrupted. I wrote another chapter but couldn't post it. When I got sick and looked back, I realized it had been banned. It was a continuation of the latest extra chapter, but it was too elaborate and difficult to revise, so I just left it there.
My mind is a bit blank; it's been so long and I can't get back into the swing of things in a short time. Let me summarize what happened with this book.
This is my first time writing a simulator-themed book. The inspiration for this book came from Feilu, and I only borrowed content from Liyue. The rest is all my own writing. The plot and pacing are entirely my own. As an experienced author, I can still handle this well.
Well, simulator-themed works have their pros and cons. The good thing is that you don't have to spend time dealing with the details, the plot transitions are smooth, and you can just write a couple of sentences to get through boring parts. The bad thing is that the pace is too fast, and some things are repetitive, making it difficult to gradually improve your skills. After writing a few simulators, it becomes harder to write them.
At the same time, due to the neglect of details, it sometimes looks like reading an outline.
As you may have noticed, there wasn't much left to write about in this book after the achievement of the Heavenly Principle. The original plan was to connect with the Collapse Iron, which would allow the strength to continue to improve. However, because the Collapse Iron content was cut off, it became too invincible. Later, an Abyss enemy was created, but there was too little information, so I had no feel for it when writing. The content was unreadable and difficult to write, which was torture for me.
Actually, ending it at the point of becoming the natural order, leaving it open-ended afterward, is also a good idea.
But it also feels like that would be a bit of a rushed ending.
Hesitating and wavering, the ending I finally wrote was still not very good, a difficult one.
Thank you to all the travelers who have supported me. Perhaps many of you no longer play Genshin Impact, but I still hope that my book can bring you the anticipation and joy you desire.
As for the future, I think I should stop writing about simulators. I'm not good at it. Although my grades were good so far, it's a painful subject to write.
Take a break and recuperate. I still need to write before the New Year. Authors don't get holidays. After all the renovations, my pockets are empty. Being a full-time author is really tough. When will I finally achieve my goal and take off? Let me just dream about it for now. If it comes true, it won't be a loss.
Finally, I wish everyone a Happy New Year in advance!
The world of martial arts remains the same; see you next time.
