"The first word that comes to mind," Morgan replied. "Ian, give me the answer now."
"understood."
Ian looked at the mirror, which had returned to normal, and answered.
"Then, Your Highness, my answer is you."
"I?"
“Yes, Your Highness.” Ian looked directly at Morgan. “I saw you in that mirror.”
Morgan's lips curled up at first, but quickly fell back into a gloomy expression.
"Ian, you're lying."
"The one in the mirror is clearly not me."
“Yes, it’s not entirely you.” Ian didn’t deny Morgan’s words.
"But because I see parts that are similar to you, and I only care about those parts, to me, that is you, and you are that."
"Ha." Morgan sneered.
"Ian, according to your logic, as long as someone has something in common with me, you would consider that person as me and then swear allegiance to them?"
"Is this what you call loyalty?"
“That’s impossible,” Ian replied. “A knight’s loyalty is only given once, and my loyalty has already been given to you, Your Highness.”
Morgan remained silent in response to your impeccable answer.
She gently touched the mirror, causing the previous image to reappear.
She explained to you that it was magic, a magic trick she had developed herself.
You believe this without a doubt because you know she is one of the few magicians in all of Britain capable of challenging Merlin.
You asked her who the person in the mirror was, but she didn't know either.
You realize that she has created a virtual, imaginary enemy based on yourself, which is why she has that ambiguous, unrealistic appearance.
"Your Highness, why did you do this?"
Ian looked in the mirror.
“An enemy that doesn’t exist will only cause you trouble, so it should be eliminated.”
"This isn't some nonexistent enemy, she..."
Morgan realized halfway through his sentence that he might have let something slip.
She turned her head away and changed her words, saying, "It's none of your business, Ian. You're just a knight. What you can know is for me to decide."
“Indeed,” Ian apologized. “Your Highness, please forgive my rudeness.”
"..."
"I'm not angry." Morgan, having composed herself, didn't intend to dwell on the matter.
"Ian, is my image really the only thing that comes to mind when you see a mirror?"
"Yes, Your Highness."
Ian answered without hesitation, which was Morgan's favorite way of responding, as it symbolized loyalty and honesty.
Morgan no longer harbored doubts as he had before.
She sat down on the edge of the bed and began to issue commands like a true queen.
"Ian, kneel down."
With just these words, her knight knelt on the ground.
This absolute command caused a barely perceptible smile to flash across Morgan's face—but it quickly disappeared.
She parted her thin lips slightly:
"Ian, you didn't tell anyone about what happened that night, did you?"
“I have never mentioned it to anyone.”
Morgan did not doubt Ian's words.
After all, if he were to reveal it, he might only lose his reputation, but he would disappear from British soil.
Morgan slightly lifted his foot.
Her slender, fair feet pressed down on Ian's forehead, leaving slight marks on his skin.
Morgan seemed to find great satisfaction in the other party's absolute submission, and she continued:
"It seems you're not entirely stupid; at least you know how to save your own life."
"But I still have to tell you that to me now, you are nothing more than the ashes of that night of pleasure, which can be scattered at any time."
"I don't like you at all, and I will never have any feelings for you, because I don't need that kind of thing that gets in my way."
“Ian, tell me you understand this.”
"Yes, I completely understand what you mean, Your Highness."
"This is what I deserve."
Morgan was quite pleased with your obedience as a knight; it seemed to make her feel something untouchable.
However, that's not the only reason she called you here.
She drew a sword from the shadows; her name was engraved on it.
She planted the sword beside you.
You realize that she might want you to do something again.
5. The knight's advance or retreat should be decided by the princess.
Your hunch was correct.
Morgan does have something for you to do.
This is another turning point in your life.
"Ian."
Morgan gently moved his feet, his toes sliding down Ian's forehead, across his nose, to his lips, and finally touching his chin.
Just as Morgan had said, she didn't care about Ian in front of her, even though the two had been intimate.
She slightly raised her toes, hooked Ian's chin, and then made him lift his head.
From this angle, the beautiful legs hidden beneath the princess's dress were fully visible to the loyal knight.
But Ian knew that what awaited him was definitely not something simple.
“Answer me, Ian, do you recognize this sword?”
Morgan was referring to the longsword that was stuck into the ground.
Ian nodded and replied, "This is Your Highness's sword, but you don't seem to use it much."
Morgan's eyes flashed with displeasure when Ian said he "didn't use it much".
However, she quickly continued:
“Ian, pick it up.”
Knowing that Morgan disliked being disobeyed, Ian simply drew the longsword engraved with Morgan's name, a task that was easy for someone who had trained for many years.
Morgan seemed to have applied some kind of magic to the sword.
[The Gifted Agent has been granted: Morgan has given you her name, and at some point in the future, someone may mistake you for her.]
[Your talent, earned through a life-or-death struggle, has been acquired: When wielding Morgan's sword, you can unleash abilities beyond your physical limits; in exchange, your life will be reduced to a flickering candle in the wind.]
Morgan assumed you knew nothing about magic, so he made no attempt to conceal the magical aura emanating from the longsword.
This makes you a little sad.
"how?"
Morgan nudged Ian’s chin with her toes.
"Did touching my sword displease you?"
“No, I have never dared to express any dissatisfaction with Your Highness,” Ian replied. “I just don’t understand why Your Highness would want to hand this over to me?”
“Ian, I think I’ve already said that you have no right to ask me things I don’t intend to let you know.”
"I'm sorry, Your Highness."
“Forget it.” Morgan changed the subject. “I don’t want to argue with you about this. I have more important things to do now.”
Having said that, the aloof princess slowly lifted your chin and spoke as if giving a command:
“Ian, stand up and please me.”
[Following Morgan's instructions, you can only do what she allows you to do.]
At the same time, she won't allow you to act recklessly like the first time; everything must be under her control.
Your freedom of movement is controlled by her as a princess; the tide rises, then falls.
This is just the beginning.
Over the next month, she repeatedly summoned you to her side, continuing to exert control over your mind and body.
Her behavior became increasingly daring, to the point that one day, when you opened the door, you found her naked, just as she had been during the day she took her oath.
But you don't feel that Morgan is seducing you, nor do you think she's inherently promiscuous.
You could feel the coldness in her eyes every time, and you realized you had never heard her voice. Just as she had said, this princess had never liked you.
[This was all part of her plan, one she didn't want you to know.]
You didn't know how long this kind of life would last, but you endured it, becoming her knight whom she could control with her body at any time.
But at this point, things began to take a new turn.
