"Yes, it's time to let these thieves know that the Star Train is not so easy to mess with."
Walter nodded.
However, just as Welt was about to leave, Himeko called out to him.
“Walter, there’s no need to personally deal with an enemy of this level. The Star Train is not without combat capabilities.”
"Yes, I almost forgot."
Walter smiled and said, "In that case, let's leave it to the professionals."
Inside the driver's cab of the Starry Sky Train.
"You're too arrogant, Pam! You actually dared to rob the Star Train! Watch Pam beat you all to a pulp!"
Pam was already annoyed by the messages being transmitted from the other side of the train.
"Starry Sky Orbital Cannon, activate!"
White light began to gather at the front of the Star Train, and ripples began to appear in the surrounding space.
"Holy crap! Isn't that just an old-fashioned-looking train? How come it has weapons?!"
"And judging by its appearance... it's a railgun! Spread out!"
"Brothers, get out of here! This is a tough situation!"
Upon seeing that it was a railgun, a weapon of mass destruction, the ships lost all will to fight and turned to flee.
The white light of the railgun streaked across the sky, and several nearby Sovereign Samurai ships were thrown about and fell towards the surface of Talia.
In fact, Pam didn't actually hit anything; she just scared him. But unexpectedly, the aftershocks of the railgun caused the Yuuga Samurai a lot of trouble.
This also shows just how terrible the ships of these space pirates were.
Chapter 94 The Mouse Arrives
After a minor incident, Pam completed the planetary survey and finally placed Zhou Xingxing and Qiong near the ruins of a city.
"This place is so desolate."
As soon as he landed, Stephen Chow looked around.
The place looked like it had been bombed; the walls were broken and in ruins, a scene straight out of the apocalypse, with no sign of life.
Even the surrounding trees had long since withered, revealing a lifeless gray hue.
Where should we look for a carriage?
Qiong looked around and then asked Zhou Xingxing.
"According to Uncle Yang, in addition to the alien thieves, there is also a kind of rat-people on this planet, who may have mutated due to the environment."
"Rat-man?"
Qiong's eyes widened. That was a rat that had come to life!
"I don't know either, since I've never seen it with my own eyes. Let's just assume it's a rat the size of a person that can stand up and walk?"
Stephen Chow pondered for a moment and then offered his own interpretation.
"Alright...stop talking, it's creepy."
Qiong couldn't help but rub her arms.
This surprised Stephen Chow a bit. Could it be that Qiong is afraid of mice?
"Let's look for a way down. Uncle Yang said that the surface of this planet is uninhabited, but there are many cities scattered inside."
"An underground city? Somewhat like the lower districts of Belleburg."
"That's roughly the idea."
As they talked, the two began searching for a path leading downwards.
Finally, they found a downward tunnel in a place that looked like a subway station entrance.
Because there were no lights in the tunnel, it was dark and silent, with only the sound of their footsteps echoing inside.
As they were walking, Stephen Chow suddenly felt his arm being hugged.
Turning his head, he saw that Qiong had somehow gotten close to him, hugging his arm and looking around warily.
"Are you afraid of the dark?"
"Huh? No, it's just too dark. I'm afraid I'll fall if I walk alone!"
"Then you'll drag me along and we'll both fall down, right?"
"Hmph, I'll drag you down with me."
Qiong nodded with a smile and a smug look on her face, which made Stephen Chow shrug.
Da da da--
The sound of their footsteps echoed in the tunnel, and Zhou Xingxing vaguely sensed something was amiss.
So I took a few steps and then stopped, trying to figure out where this sense of disharmony came from.
"what!"
"what!!!!!"
Zhou Xingxing suddenly shouted, which startled Qiong, who also screamed.
Qiong was already huddled next to Zhou Xingxing, and this shout startled her so much that she clung to him.
"What happened!"
"I'm hanging on Zhou Xingxing," Qiong asked anxiously and flusteredly.
"It's nothing, I was just making a noise. I noticed the echo is quite strong here."
Stephen Chow said calmly.
"There's something wrong with you!"
Qiong blushed with embarrassment; wasn't this just making fun of her?
So Qiong gave Stephen Chow a little punch in the chest!
Stephen Chow HP-0.
Ha, compared to Silver Wolf's little fists, this is far inferior.
"Haha, let's ease the tension a bit, you look so nervous."
"I'm not nervous at all!"
Qiong argued that, however, after being frightened like that, she did feel a little relieved.
Just then, a dark figure suddenly darted out, and Qiong felt a lightness around her waist.
Then, Qiong subconsciously touched her pocket and realized with a start that her phone was gone.
"There's a thief!"
Qiong immediately realized this and hurriedly called out.
Zhou Xingxing stood still. He had just sensed that the footsteps were slightly out of sync, and sure enough, someone was using overlapping footsteps to follow him.
However, he was only a petty thief, which surprised Stephen Chow. He thought it would be some kind of ratman.
"Shi Bao, use the electromagnetic coil to trap him!"
Stephen Chow remained calm and pointed ahead.
"Are you playing Etherfront here? Don't order me around!"
Shi Bao angrily emerged, but still managed to unleash a bolt of electricity that wrapped around the dark figure's body.
The dark figure immediately collapsed to the ground, his life now straight.
"You didn't electrocute someone, did you?"
Stephen Chow's eyes widened. How did he become straight?
"Huh? That weak?"
Zhou Xingxing rolled his eyes at Shi Bao's somewhat insecure tone.
I hope I don't actually get electrocuted. I was planning to keep him alive to ask for directions, and this underground passage is really interconnected. I don't know which way to go.
When Shi Bao turned on the lights, Zhou Xingxing and Qiong saw that the person lying on the ground was a child of about twelve or thirteen years old.
"No...don't kill me!"
Seeing that he couldn't escape, the child huddled up and cried out, his body trembling slightly.
Qiong was speechless. Did she really look that ruthless?
Even though he stole my phone, it doesn't warrant the death penalty.
"How could that be? Do you look that violent, sister? What's your name?"
Qiong smiled and squatted down to ask the child.
"My name is... Pete."
Pete answered cautiously.
"Oh, hello Pete, could you give my sister her phone back?"
Qiong squatted down and smiled as she extended her hand to Pete.
The child paused for a moment, then placed the phone in Qiong's hand.
"Sisters, have you forgiven me?"
Pete was overjoyed; he hadn't expected the two men to be so kind.
"Forgive you? Now tell me why you stole my phone, or... you can choose one of the two sticks."
Qiong put away her phone, her previous smile vanished, replaced by a benevolent expression. She then pulled out a baseball bat from somewhere and weighed it in her hand.
I was just afraid that this kid would either fight to the death or get too scared and smash or drop my phone. Now that I have the phone in my hands, I'm not going to pretend anymore.
"Two?"
