Needless to say, Senior Brother Chu is always a quiet, reserved person.
Since no one was talking to Lu Mingfei, he secretly looked around to see if there was anything interesting or new.
Then he saw something very new.
In a corner of the port, an Asian youth was holding up a sign with a few words written in English, roughly meaning something like, "Lost in a foreign country, lost your wallet, can work as a cargo unloader, tall, strong and muscular, blah blah blah."
The items on the sign weren't particularly novel, but the face was the key element; Lu Mingfei found it strangely familiar.
Especially those comically droopy eyebrows; it seems like this person would have a much better future as a comedian than as a laborer here.
After comparing the person's appearance with his own memories, Lu Mingfei immediately recognized him and stopped in his tracks.
Lu Mingfei lagged a few steps behind, and Chu Zihang was the first to react, turning to look at him and asking, "What's wrong?"
"It's nothing, senior brothers, you can go ahead. I ran into a friend, I'm going to say hello," Lu Mingfei said.
……
Ronald Don lamented that he was a hero with short-lived strength and a thin horse with long hair—both idioms were taught to him by Lu Mingfei.
The mission had only just begun a few days ago, and he, a dignified senior hunter on the Hunter Network, was already struggling to even afford food.
Losing your wallet is a terrible thing.
What's worse is that his identity information is grayed out and cannot be verified, so he doesn't dare to seek help from the local police or the US embassy, otherwise it would be embarrassing if he were detained.
Fortunately, there's a port here. He may not be good at much else, but he's strong enough to help unload some cargo and earn some money.
First, deal with the immediate problem, then go to the bank to report the lost credit card and apply for a replacement...
Fortunately, he had the foresight to have photocopies of his identity information and had booked a hotel well in advance, leaving the photocopies of his identity information at the hotel.
Wait a minute, where is the hotel I booked? How do I get back?
Ronald Don lowered his head and fell into deep thought.
Until someone stood in front of him.
Old Tang immediately snapped out of his daze, his first thought being, "There's a boss here, work has come in!" But when he looked up, he saw a face he only knew in 2D.
The other person tentatively asked, "Old Tang? Is that you?"
"Mingming?!" Old Tang's eyes widened.

Chapter 83 Old Tang: Good morning, Sister-in-law Fei!
In a restaurant on a street in Viana, Portugal.
Old Tang had a slice of pizza in each hand, and three empty boxes stacked up next to him.
"Are you a reincarnated starving ghost?" Lu Mingfei couldn't help but retort.
Those three are all ten-inch pizzas; someone with a small appetite probably couldn't even finish half of one.
"To be honest, I haven't had a proper meal in two days. Last time I only ate half a loaf of bread." Old Tang took a big gulp of Portuguese-style Super Bock beer.
"Didn't you lose your wallet? How come you still have money to buy bread?" Lu Mingfei asked in surprise.
"I saw a child in the park breaking bread into crumbs to feed the pigeons," Old Tang said.
"Got it, you asked them for the bread they used to feed the pigeons, right?" Even someone as carefree as Lu Mingfei felt sorry for Old Tang.
“No, I asked him for bread but he wouldn’t give it to me,” Old Tang shook his head. “So I had to catch a pigeon and threaten him, saying that if he didn’t give me bread, I would roast the pigeon and eat it.”
Lu Mingfei gasped: "Suddenly I think it would be good if you went hungry for two days."
"I'm just a hero past his prime, there's nothing I can do about it," Old Tang sighed heavily.
"That's not how you use the phrase 'a hero's twilight'... I'll give you a dictionary next time." Lu Mingfei covered his face.
"Are you saying that my current situation doesn't count as being old?" Old Tang asked.
“I mean you’re not a hero,” Lu Mingfei said sincerely.
"I'm so sad, so sad," Old Tang said loudly, switching from Chinese to English. "Waiter, another Italian sausage pizza, please!"
Lu Mingfei's eye twitched slightly: "Is your stomach made of human material?"
“I’m heartbroken, and I need to fill the void with food,” Old Tang declared confidently, puffing out his chest. “Don’t worry, I’ve heard the story of Han Xin. I won’t forget your kindness in providing me with a meal. Once I get my bank card back, I’ll treat you to a big meal at the best burger joint in America!”
"Nonsense! Han Xin repaid the old woman with a thousand gold pieces after receiving a meal of kindness, and you only treat me to a hamburger? Where is your conscience!" Lu Mingfei shouted in dissatisfaction.
"If I had a thousand taels of gold, we'd split it in half!" Old Tang declared decisively, patting his chest—but he didn't have any anyway.
"By the way, what are you doing in Portugal? Tourism?" Lu Mingfei asked, not wanting to dwell on the matter of the meal Tang had given him.
Old Tang looked troubled.
"What's wrong?" Lu Mingfei was taken aback. "Don't tell me you're actually James Bond or 007, and you're here in Portugal on behalf of the US government to stop a deal on a weapon that could destroy the world."
“Bond and 007 are the same person, and the other 007 is British,” Old Tang said, scratching his head. “Logically, I should have made up some excuse to fool you, but we’re friends now, and I’ve already eaten so much of your food for free…”
"Stop!" Lu Mingfei quickly corrected him, "It's not free food, it's a loan from me, and I have to pay it back."
"That's not the point! I'm telling you something very important right now, so don't focus on something as trivial as pizza."
After saying that, Old Tang took another bite of pizza.
"So what exactly is it?" Lu Mingfei's curiosity was piqued.
“It’s not safe outside, let’s go to your place to talk,” Old Tang said.
"Damn it! You've already eaten your fill, so you're starting to whet my appetite, huh!" Lu Mingfei said with a dark face.
"No way!" Old Tang retorted, "I'm not full yet!"
"Waiter, the bill, please." Lu Mingfei called out, raising his hand.
"Mingfei, do you have enough money?" Old Tang asked worriedly. "What if we end up being forced to wash dishes?"
At first, he called Lu Mingfei by his ID "Mingming" in the group, but Lu Mingfei felt it was too strange to hear that name in real life. Calling him by his nickname "Big Head Bear" in the group also felt weird, so he simply asked Lao Tang to call him by his name.
"You're really underestimating me. It's just a few pizzas..."
Lu Mingfei reached into his pocket, his hand and expression freezing together.
"What happened?" Old Tang's heart jumped. "You lost your wallet too?"
“I didn’t lose it,” Lu Mingfei said, his face ashen. “I don’t think I even brought my wallet with me.”
Tulio and Little Fairy paid for everything along the way; he only used his wallet when taking out his ID.
"What do we do then! How about we skip out on the bill?" Old Tang stuffed the pizza in his mouth, then grabbed a knife in his left hand and a fork in his right, looking menacing. "Mingfei, you run first, I'll hold them off here!"
"Stop messing around, I'm going to make a phone call."
Lu Mingfei took out his phone and skillfully dialed a number.
……
Hotel, Su Xiaoqiang's room.
She was organizing the photos she had taken at the table, putting them one by one into an open, beautifully handmade photo album.
Of course, you have to bring a camera when you go out. This time they brought a digital camera, which was kept by Lu Mingfei. She also brought an instant camera for herself.
The photos on the table were taken with her Polaroid camera.
There are various photos, mostly landscape photos taken by the four of them at sea, but there aren't many, since the scenery at sea is really monotonous.
One of the photos shows Lu Mingfei holding a huge cod—of course, he didn't catch a fish that big; it was a fresh fish he bought from the old captain.
Holding the photo, Su Xiaoqiang couldn't help but chuckle, muttering softly, "Hmph... so concerned with saving face."
She had planned to put this photo in the album like the others, but then she inexplicably remembered what Lu Mingfei had said to her in the hotel living room two nights ago when they were talking about her cousin Elena's photo.
"You can't even find a picture of her, yet you dare to say you're best friends with her? Can't you hear your cousin crying all the way down the street?"
"When I watch TV dramas, don't girls usually like to keep photos of their best friends in the inner pockets of their wallets or handbags?"
By the time Su Xiaoqiang realized what was happening, she had already taken out her wallet and, while lost in thought, put the photo of Lu Mingfei holding a fish into the front pocket of her wallet.
The top part of the photo is outside the interlayer, perfectly revealing Lu Mingfei's smug, self-satisfied head.
Realizing what she had done, Su Xiaoqiang's mind went blank, her heart pounded, and she hurriedly took out Lu Mingfei's photo.
But the ringing phone interrupted her.
Glancing at the caller ID, Su Xiaoqiang's heart raced even faster. She held the phone to her ear and answered, forcing herself to remain calm, "What's wrong?!"
"Little Fairy, save me!" Lu Mingfei's wailing echoed through the phone.
……
Hotel, Lu Mingfei Suite, living room.
Lu Mingfei and Lao Tang sat on the long sofa, while Su Xiaoqiang sat on the short sofa by herself.
"Could you be any more shameless?" Su Xiaoqiang covered her face. "When I went there, the waiter said they almost mistook you two for trying to dine and dash."
She has a really sharp eye; we almost ended up dine and dash.
Lu Mingfei hesitated for a moment, but still didn't dare to utter the sarcastic remark.
"She has a pretty good eye; we almost ended up dine and dash," Old Tang said.
Lu Mingfei slapped himself in the face.
Another slap landed on Old Tang's face.
"Who are you?" The little fairy's tone was not exactly polite. It wasn't that she was targeting Old Tang; she spoke to most people in this tone.
Old Tang wasn't annoyed at all. He took Lu Mingfei's hand off his face and grinned at Su Xiaoqiang.
"Hello, sister-in-law. I'm Lao Tang, a friend I met while playing StarCraft with Fei. I live in Brooklyn, USA, and I'm of Chinese descent. I was traveling in Portugal and accidentally lost my wallet and ID. Luckily, Fei kindly helped me out, otherwise I would have starved to death on the streets. I will never forget your great kindness..."
Old Tang launched into a long self-introduction. He was quite shameless; after all, he was a young man entering society. He addressed Lu Mingfei, a high school student, as "Brother Fei" without any hesitation, as fluently and naturally as a black man picking cotton.
But Su Xiaoqiang didn't really pay much attention to what Lao Tang said next. The first three words Lao Tang uttered stunned both her and Lu Mingfei.
“Big...Sister-in-law?!” Su Xiaoqiang’s eyes widened.
