It's a pity. If Hermione had met him sooner, she might have been able to save a little money on necessities.

"Then I'll trust you this once, but please don't lie to me!"

“Absolutely not,” Aaron assured him firmly.

Although she wanted to chat with Hermione for a while longer, the two hadn't exchanged more than a few words when a man and a woman walked in through the door.

"Mom and Dad," Hermione greeted her parents briefly.

"Hermione, who is this?" Hermione's father asked.

"My name is Aaron, and I'm her future classmate," Aaron said politely.

Hermione nodded, somewhat reluctantly handing the white cat back to Aaron. "It was nice meeting you, Aaron. Now I have to go buy a wand. See you in three days."

"Okay, see you in three days."

The two groups of people left Madam Malkin's robe shop one after the other, and then went in different directions.

A dozen minutes later, Aaron and Gaius picked up the books they had ordered, and then they visited the crucible shop and the pharmacy, where they bought the remaining instruments and equipment.

On their way back, the two passed by a shop selling magic brooms. Aaron glanced at one with interest, and a magic broom was quietly waiting for its owner in the display case.

"Young Master wants it?" Genes asked.

Aaron nodded, then shook his head. "I'm just somewhat interested, but not enough to buy it."

Besides, first-year students aren't allowed to bring their own flying brooms, so buying one wouldn't be of any use to me.

“I don’t think so. Hogwarts also has flying lessons. It wouldn’t hurt for you to try out the magic broom three days before school starts.”

"Forget it! A magic broom isn't really my thing," Aaron said. He still had a magic carpet in his system shop that he hadn't bought yet! Wasn't that much better than a broom?

Chapter 12 A somewhat dejected boy in front of the platform

On the first day of September, Aaron packed his things early in the morning and headed to Kingdom Cross Station accompanied by Genes.

He was pushing a cart with two large suitcases on it. One suitcase contained his luggage and textbooks, while the other contained other things.

He kept the two wands hidden on his person. He planned to use the black one normally, but he didn't intend to show the white one easily. He might use it as a trump card or to deal with unexpected situations.

Genes cast a small levitation spell on the two large boxes, making them less heavy than they appeared.

On top of the suitcase was a very cute white kitten dressed in clothes. Abe quietly lay on the suitcase, attracting a lot of attention to their group.

Aaron looked at Genes and smiled nervously and excitedly, "Uncle Genes, once I enter the station, you won't be able to control me anymore. Aren't you going to miss me?"

"It's not that I'm reluctant to part with it, after all, I've been mentally prepared for this for a long time."

Those who are secretly following you are probably going to be happy for quite a while.

Aaron's expression froze, a hint of anger rising in his heart. He was already eleven years old and still hadn't figured out the guard forces secretly following him, which made him a little resentful.

"Well, at this point, can you tell me who they are?" Aaron asked hopefully.

Genes hesitated for a moment, "There are six in total. Two people will secretly protect you each time, and they will change shifts every three days."

In terms of combat power, they are all elite Aurors.

"It's fortunate that you, young master, spend most of your time in Diagon Alley and the castle. If you were running around everywhere, they might have to use teleportation to catch up with your shift change."

"Heh!" Aaron sneered. He remembered these people. When he became powerful in the future, none of them would be able to escape.

A gentleman takes revenge even after ten years. He didn't consider himself a treacherous villain, but he was definitely not a gentleman either, so he couldn't wait ten years.

Genes noticed Aaron's change in expression, raised an eyebrow, and silently mourned for a second for these diligent bodyguards.

As the butler, he doesn't need to worry about being purged later, but the rest of them will probably get a beating soon.

Upon entering the station, Aaron and Genes waved goodbye.

He slowly pushed the cart alone in the aisle, feeling the breath of "freedom." Although his sense of security had decreased a tiny bit, he felt exceptionally relaxed.

He crossed the first platform, the second platform, and finally stopped at the ninth platform.

Then he noticed a boy pushing a cart not far ahead, just like him, with a white owl quietly sitting in a cage on the cart.

He was discussing something with the station guard, but the result seemed somewhat unsatisfactory. The guard strode away, but the boy stood there anxiously, looking dazed.

Aaron immediately guessed that the poor kid was also a new student at Hogwarts, but it was clear that he didn't know how to get to the platform.

It's quite something that a young wizard would ask a Muggle who knows nothing about magic where the platform leading to magic school is.

Considering they might be classmates in the future, Aaron decided to lend him a hand and simply pushed the cart over.

"Hello there!"

A simple greeting seemed to startle the boy. He turned his head in a fluster, looked at Aaron, and a look of surprise flashed in his eyes.

However, it wasn't because of Aaron's appearance, but because Aaron was also pushing something similar to him, which made him look even more nervous.

"It's clear you need a little bit of help!"

Ah! Yes, that's right.

"Do you know how to get to Platform 9¾?" the boy asked somewhat shyly.

“You’ve come to the right person. I happen to know where that platform is.”

However... it's quite strange that you, a young wizard about to enroll, don't even know where the platform is.

Did you come with no family members?

The boy hesitated for a moment, wanting to say something but then stopping himself.

Aaron could tell that he had something difficult to say, so he didn't ask any more questions. "Come with me! I can tell that you don't get along very well with your family."

"Thank you!" the boy said softly, silently following behind Aaron.

The two walked a short distance forward and arrived between platforms nine and ten.

Aaron pointed to a stone wall at the junction of Platforms 9 and 3/4, "That's it, Platform 9 3/4, just crash into it."

The boy nodded, then pointed in astonishment at the stone wall in front of him. "You mean we have to crash into it?"

“That’s right, you go first,” Aaron said calmly.

The boy hesitated, and his gaze toward Aaron became more suspicious. Was this guy deliberately messing with me?

"Why don't you go first? I have no experience."

"That's why I let you go first, because you lack experience. If I go in, I won't come out to help you," Aaron said, then looked at the somewhat hesitant boy who was still unwilling to move, and frowned. "You don't trust me, do you?"

“I…” the boy hesitated for a moment, “Yes, a little. After all, it’s a wall, and this is the first time we’ve met.”

Aaron felt offended. He had kindly led his future classmate to Platform 9¾, but he never expected that the other party would doubt him.

"Excuse me for asking, are you a half-blood wizard or a pure-blood wizard? Or are both your parents Muggles?"

“My parents are both wizards,” the boy said hesitantly.

"Huh?" Aaron scrutinized the reserved boy in front of him and asked in confusion, "That shouldn't be the case! If that's the case, you're practically a true member of the magical world, but you seem to know very little about it."

“My parents passed away when I was one year old, and he has been living with my uncle ever since.”

“Oh! That makes sense.” Aaron said with a look of realization. “They’re definitely not good people.”

"Indeed, wait, how did you know?"

“You’re wearing clothes that are more than one size too big, and your glasses are taped on. I really can’t understand what kind of family would treat their relatives like this.” Aaron pointed to the boy’s coat and glasses, his eyes twitching slightly.

This is the first day of school! It's a bit inappropriate to dress like this.

Fortunately, they wear school uniforms at Hogwarts, so these casual clothes are unnecessary. However, this boy's situation is exceptionally bad, and it's hard to say whether he even had a school uniform prepared.

“Since that’s the case, it’s understandable that you doubt me, since your thinking is still stuck in the Muggle world. I’ll reluctantly forgive you,” Aaron said, then pointed to the wall in front of him. “This platform is a wall to Muggles, but it’s a door to wizards, and for you, it’s a door to the magical world.”

I'll only demonstrate once, but after that I can't control what happens next. You'd better watch yourself.

Hearing this, the boy became anxious, or rather, he regretted it, because he felt that Aaron didn't seem to be lying to him.

Besides, even if I lied to him, so what!

Is it really that hard to hit a wall compared to escaping the miserable school arranged by that family and aunt and uncle? At most, you'll just be laughed at.

"Wait, let me go first!" the boy said hurriedly.

Aaron stopped in his tracks, turned around, and looked at the boy with a playful expression. "Are you sure?"

"Um... I'm not sure."

But I don't know any other way, so I might as well give it a shot!

“Beautiful.” Aaron snapped his fingers. “You’re a little smarter than I thought, so… please.”

The boy took a deep breath, pushed the cart forward with all his might, and closed his eyes as he approached the wall, bracing himself for being knocked away.

However, nothing happened; he did pass through the wall and arrive at the actual Platform 9¾.

Aaron watched the boy disappear, shrugged, and calmly pushed the cart into the wall.

After all, only those who come for the first time and find it fun or are not mentally prepared need a running start; he doesn't need one at all.

Chapter 13 A Chance Encounter – It Must Be a Coincidence, Right?

A red and black train was parked at the platform, its locomotive spewing out hot white steam.

At the very front hangs a sign for the Hogwarts Express, and on one side of the aisle is marked Platform 9¾.

The platform was quite crowded, after all, it was the first day of school, and many wizard parents came to send their children to school, and almost every one of them was carrying a stroller.

Cats and owls, the two pets allowed by the school, are everywhere, and only a very few people are holding a toad.

After Aaron passed through the wall, he found the boy staring wide-eyed, curiously looking at everything around him, his gaze lingering on the train the longest.

He couldn't help but feel a little more sympathy. This kid wasn't just unfamiliar with the magical world; judging from his expression, he probably knew even less about the Muggle world than normal people. His delighted demeanor showed that he had hardly ever ridden a train.

"Ahem! I can tell you're excited, but just a friendly reminder, the train will be leaving in about ten minutes. What you should do now is find a carriage and put your luggage and owl away."

The boy realized what was happening and said gratefully, "Thank you. Could you tell me your name?"

"Just call me Aaron, no need for thanks, it was nothing at all."

"Oh." The boy nodded, wanting to say something but then stopped himself.
