However, Cao Mei suddenly stopped as she stared at Jiang Dashan's chest. She said firmly, "Uncle, your heart is black. It's useless."

"No, ah, ah—!" Jiang Dashan screamed as he opened his eyes. He couldn't move at all and was drenched in sweat.

After waking up, Jiang Dashan realized that he was still in the hotel room. There was no murderer or Cao Mei here. Everything was just a dream.

Jiang Dashan heaved a sigh of relief and felt that his mouth was dry. He reached out to his side, wanting to take the glass of water he had placed on the bedside table before sleeping.

However, Jiang Dashan couldn't reach it. Suddenly, a hand reached out from under the bed and grabbed the glass. It threw the glass of water at him.

The glass hit Jiang Dashan's ribs. He grunted in pain and sat up in bed.

He turned his head toward the bedside table and saw the hand.

Jiang Dashan's hair stood on end. He wanted to scream, but couldn't. His body seemed to be frozen as a man slowly crawled out from under the bed like a cat.

The man's movements were very agile and fast. However, his body was completely distorted. His movement was like liquid oozing. His cat-like claws tore through the bedsheets and made strange scratching sounds.

"That's impossible. How did you find this place? Get lost!" Jiang Dashan picked up a pillow and threw it at the man.

The man calmly raised his hand and slashed the pillow apart with his sharp claws.

The cotton inside the pillow gushed out like intestines. Jiang Dashan was so frightened that he leaped up from the bed and reached for his phone on the other bedside table.

"Meow!" The murderer let out a meow. He leaped through the air, his movements incomparably light. He flew across the bed and stood on the bedside table where the phone was.

Everything happened so suddenly that it caught Jiang Dashan off guard. He watched, dumbfounded, as the murderer used his sharp claws to pick up his phone.

"You wanted this?" The murderer narrowed his eyes with a cold smile.

Jiang Dashan was stunned for a moment before letting out an earth-shattering scream and rushing towards the door like a lunatic.

Just as Jiang Dashan charged toward the door, the murderer jumped in front of him and blocked his path.

After licking his sharp claws, the murderer lashed out at Jiang Dashan's face, leaving deep scratch marks.

Blood immediately spurted out from Jiang Dashan's face. He fell to the ground in pain and screamed, "Ah! My face! Help! Someone!"

Unfortunately, no one responded to his cries. Jiang Dashan raised his bloodied face and looked in despair at the murderer's claws, which were moving closer and closer to his throat.

The door was suddenly kicked open just as Jiang Dashan had given up all hope.

"Stop!" It was Chi Jiao. She raised her special pistol and fired three shots.
