"As if I can simply rely on a man! I must be self-sufficient! There's a new performance coming up for trials tomorrow. I'll go for the audition," Xia He said.

The two of them joked around until late at night. Xia He had made an agreement with Qiao Mei that she would move out of Qiao Mei's house after she and Deng Fan got married. After all, she had initially moved in to accompany Qiao Mei during the pregnancy and to help take care of the children after they were born.

The children were now growing up well under Feng Hua's care and Qiao Mei was also recovering well. She stayed around only because she could not bear to leave this place.
