Chapter 57 The Detective and the Little Celebrity

Chapter 57 The Detective and the Little Celebrity
"Wess! Something big happened when you were not in the academy!" Wess, who had just returned to Hogwarts, was blocked by Ron.

"Huh? What? How about the death anniversary party you attended?" Weiss asked while handing out gifts.

"Oh! Thank you! Muggle world cake! That Deathday party was a hell of a time, a whole room full of ghosts. I'm dying of cold!" said Ron, taking the cake.

"But fortunately, they gave us proof, otherwise we would be regarded as the murderers who petrified Mrs. Norris!" Harry continued.

"Huh? You said Mrs. Norris was petrified? On the night we left?"

"Someone who has a grudge against Filch must have done it," Ron affirmed.

"Then almost everyone can't rule it out." Hermione replied angrily.

"Tch, it's just a cat, but what I'm more curious about is: why did that person leave a paragraph like that on the wall." Ron didn't have any affection for Mrs. Norris who had been annoying him.

"What? Forget it. I'm just about to give a gift. Just tell me where it is." Weiss didn't want to chat with Ron, who couldn't figure it out for a long time.

"The bathroom on the second floor! It's the bathroom of the female ghost on your first day of school," Harry interjected.

"Okay, I'll take a look later." After finishing speaking, Wes walked out of the lounge door, thought for a while and then turned around and said, "Hermione! Come with me for a while! I don't want to get lost because of this on the first day back All day."

"Well, I'm going to the library by the way."

After giving gifts to each professor, every professor's face was full of unresolved worry because of the attack, except for Lockhart.Hermione also said that Lockhart was full of courage, it must have belonged to Gryffindor back then!
Weiss passed by the corridor of the bathroom on the second floor, and when he was about to go in to have a look, a gloomy voice that seemed to be dripping water came over: "Little devil! It's Mrs. Norris that you killed! Isn't it!"

"Mr. Filch! It's not us." Said the cowering girl behind Wes.

"Huh? It's you? Let's go! You're not welcome here!" Filch clearly saw Wes and drove him away impatiently.

"Mr. Filch, this is the dried fish I brought back." Weiss took out the dried fish from the stretch bag, "Ms. Norris used to like to eat it."

"Ms. Norris! Woohoo..." Filch took the dried fish tremblingly, and couldn't hold back any longer, sobbing loudly.

"Mr. Filch, I want to go in and take a look." Weiss pointed to the corridor of the bathroom.

"No! There must be something there! It's too dangerous! No!" Filch stood up suddenly, stretching out his arms to block Wes.

"It's like this, Hermione and I just came back, you know? I was taken out on an adventure by Professor Dumbledore during the summer vacation, you also know that? So when I was going to deliver something to the principal, I would like to say my opinion by the way , in case he asks me and I can't answer." Weiss looked at Filch and nodded, and continued talking in a winding manner.

"Huh? Principal?" Filch was obviously a little dizzy, but he still insisted: "I must be present!"

"Okay, Hermione, let's go." Weiss dragged Hermione and walked inside.

"You're so amazing, you've made sense of it even though you have nothing to do with it." Hermione whispered.

"I just made Filch feel that we were sent by Professor Dumbledore." Weiss shrugged, looking indifferent.

"That's the word?" Weiss said when he saw the dry scarlet letter.

"Yes!" Filch stared fiercely at the words.

"I looked at 'The secret chamber has been opened, and those who are enemies of the heir, beware', um, it's quite scary." Weiss was about to reach out to touch it as he said that.

"Don't touch it! I didn't wipe it off with Mrs. Skoll's All-Purpose Miracle Stain Remover! It's cursed!" Filch hurriedly stopped Weiss.

"Curse? It's okay, I won't touch it." After speaking, he continued to extend his hand.

"Huh? Hermione, come here." Weiss said, pulling Hermione to stand in his place: "Stretch out your hand and pretend that you are writing on it." Seeing Hermione bending her arms and pretending to write, Weiss said . "All right. Thank you Mr. Filch, we need to go to Professor Dumbledore."

"Well! Go! I will continue to stare here!" Filch looked fiercely at the blood on the wall.

…Principal room…

"Oh! Serena Weiss! Thank you for bringing me the cake." Dumbledore happily took the cake and couldn't wait to open it.

"Professor, I found something." Weiss looked at Dumbledore and said, "The thing about Halloween."

"Huh?" Dumbledore stopped and looked up at Wes intently.

"First of all, the prisoner is right-handed, which can be seen from the handwriting." Weiss thought about the blood-stained strokes he saw.

"Well, go on." Dumbledore folded his hands, put his elbows on the table and listened intently.

"Secondly, the prisoner is shorter than Hermione, and not much shorter." Weiss continued.

"How did you know that?" Hermione stared at him with wide eyes.

"Remember when I asked you to straighten your arms and pretend to write? Your arms must be very bent to write the upper row of words smoothly, otherwise it will be very twisted." Weiss straightened his arms and made a volley writing movement.

"Or he is very tall, and when he writes with his hands flat, there is only Hagrid in our Hogwarts." Weiss glanced at Hermione who was experimenting, and continued: "But I don't believe it. Hagrid would do that sort of thing, and Hagrid's handwriting is, well, not pretty."

"Well, it makes sense! Serena Weiss." Dumbledore looked at Hermione's head: "Then there are only first-year children."

"Yes, I couldn't see the others at the scene. Do you remember when you went, did the handwriting dry?" Weiss asked with a frown.

"Done." Dumbledore recalled, nodding.

"What time was it when Harry and the others discovered the word?" Weiss asked again.

"After 7 o'clock, the dinner just ended." Dumbledore recalled.

"Under normal circumstances, the blood coagulation time is 10 minutes, and that distance, the round trip plus writing...so as long as you know which first graders leave the dinner party 20 to 30 minutes before the end of the dinner party, then it's him." Wei Wei Stein said firmly.

"Under normal circumstances?" Hermione noticed the word keenly.

"Yes, under normal circumstances, such as changes caused by magic, I haven't seen him study it."

"Him?" Hermione wondered again.

"Well, a strange... no, let me think about it, a research madman! Well, that's about it."

"Why does he have nothing to study this?" Hermione was even more confused.

"I remember his friend said: because of interest, and Scotland Yard often finds them. What they taught me just now is called deductive method, although I don't know much about it."

"Scotland Yard! How do you know them?" Hermione's eyes widened in surprise.

"I don't know, when my mother took me on a trip, it passed by somehow, and I got a watchdog back, and it still glows!" Weiss thought of the big dog, which was beaten by his father and let it go east. Don't dare to go west.

"Wait, deductive method! The one you know is not called Charlotte..." Hermione said in surprise.

"Although I am very happy to listen to your chat, I still want to interrupt. Mr. Kabrev, are you sure there is nothing wrong with your statement?" Dumbledore interrupted Weiss and their chat.

"Well, it shouldn't be there, right? I'll try it out!" Weiss ran to take down the Gryffindor sword, turned around and looked around, his arm was cut with a slash, and blood gushed out .

"Wes!" Hermione was stunned, and hurriedly took out the stretch bag to find Bai Xian.

On the other side, Dumbledore waved his wand, and Weiss' wound healed. He said angrily, "Mr. Kabrev! Why did you do this!"

"Sorry, professor, there is no blood right now. Let's wait for 10 minutes and see if it's done." Weiss quickly apologized and motioned the two to look at the blood on the ground.

…10 minutes later…

"Professor, it's done." Weiss touched it, looked up and said to Dumbledore.

"Hmm... Minerva, Severus, Felius, Pomona, come to the principal's office." Dumbledore waved his wand, and a silver-white phoenix flew out.

"The Patronus Charm!" Hermione exclaimed in surprise.

"That's right! Miss Granger, sit down for a while, do you need some tea?" Dumbledore replied with a smile again.
