Chapter 40 Master Peeves!
Outside the tent, the stars twinkled on the black velvet curtain.

Filch was like a soldier on guard, standing upright in the distance watching the situation of the tent, and would take out an old pocket watch from time to time to calculate how long it was before the curfew started

Mrs. Norris sat gracefully at his feet, her bright eyes were like emeralds.

After everyone walked out of the tent, John used his magic wand to control the tent to shrink rapidly into a palm-sized model.

There is no need to clean up the things inside, they will shrink accordingly.

When you need to use it next time, you can directly zoom in and it will return to its original shape, which is convenient and practical.

Leaving the tent to Fred and George for safekeeping, John talked and laughed with them and walked towards the castle.

Filch watched eagerly as John and the others disappeared at the gate of the castle, and his eyes immediately scanned the position where the tent was huddled just like radar.

"Ha, they really didn't clean up!"

Filch spotted a place on the grass that was glowing with light, and he ran over excitedly on his knees.

"I must tell Dumbledore that they are prohibited from holding any sales meetings here! It is best for Dumbledore to hand them over to me, and I will teach them how to abide by the school rules and be a good student!"

Filch muttered non-stop, his face distorted with excitement.

"They're all little bastards!"

Filch bent down and eagerly picked up what John had left on the grass.

It is a transparent glass jar wrapped with a wrapping paper with the logo of Diagon Alley Magic and Wheezes on the surface, and it is full of chocolates.

Filch knew the thing, and there were students using it in the hallways today.

They can float up after eating, and then put the garbage on the high place.

Then they'd step aside and watch him yell angrily at not being able to reach them, and they'd laugh out loud.

Filch remembered that scene, his face flushed red, his eyes bulged slightly, and he roared angrily: "They are all a bunch of damn bastards, they should all be punished, Dumbledore should allow me to use those things!"

At this moment, Filch suddenly noticed that there was a note stuck on the other side of the bottle, and he turned around to look.

It read: Mr. Filch, this is a gift from us.

But Filch didn't accept the kindness of John and the others at all, he angrily tore off the note and crumpled it into a ball vigorously.

"They must be thinking of some way to play tricks on me again!"

Filch had a stern smile on his face. He had long been used to Fred and George's tricks, and nothing good came out of their hands!
Filch strode towards the castle, he was going to destroy the damn thing!

After walking a few steps, Filch noticed that something was missing. He turned around and looked back. The angry expression on his face disappeared, replaced by a gentle smile: "Honey, we should go back."

Mrs. Norris took a glance, and obediently followed behind Filch.

Back at the castle, Filch poured all the chocolate down the sewer, preventing Fred and George's "murder" plan from succeeding.

Afterwards, Filch, who was in a good mood, took Mrs. Norris back to his narrow and cold room.

Putting the bottle on the table and watching Mrs. Norris finish the cat food, Filch sat down in his moth-eaten chair.

"Damn it!"

Filch looked at the bottle and cursed angrily. Then he took the bottle to the filing cabinet and opened a drawer with a seal on it: confiscated supplies, highly dangerous.

After putting the bottle in, Filch sat back in his chair.

A lone oil lamp hangs from the ceiling, the candlelight flickers, and the light and shadow in the room continue to lengthen and shorten.

Filch squirmed uncomfortably in his chair, and after a moment he reached into his pocket for a crumpled note.

He stared at it for a while, then carefully unfolded the note, his eyes scanning letter by letter.

"Mr. Filch, this is a present from us."

Filch looked puzzled, he stood up again, opened the drawer and took out the bottle, then carefully pasted the note on it again.

After doing all this, Filch heaved a sigh of relief, his mood seemed much better, and he sat back on the chair leisurely.

But it didn't take long for Filch to look at the drawer again and again.

After hesitating for a long time, he took out the bottle and put it in the drawer beside the table.

What is placed in that small space is what really belongs to him.

This is also the first time he has received a gift from someone else.
On the other side, John and Dennis walked in the corridor leading to the Ravenclaw Tower after parting with the others.

Suddenly, Dennis pulled John's sleeve cautiously, and said nervously, "Did you hear any strange noises?"

"I heard."

John raised his wand vigilantly to observe the surroundings, and arrogant laughter was approaching them rapidly from far to near.

A figure appeared from the other end of the corridor, and he shouted excitedly: "Haha, I found you!"

John's wand was raised reflexively, and a piece of bread was blocked in front of him.

Dennis reacted slowly, and even if he reacted, he couldn't do anything. His face was covered with rotten bread, and the sour smell made him want to vomit.

John looked at the child-like person in the air. He was wearing a tall hat, wearing strange clothes, with a big gap in his mouth, exuding an evil breath.

"Peves?" John frowned.

"Haha, it's me, Lord Peeves of Hogwarts!" Peeves walked proudly in the air.

This guy is not easy to deal with, at least John has not mastered the spell to deal with him.

John thought for a while, his eyes lit up.

When Peeves took out his bread and was about to attack again, John shouted loudly behind Peeves: "Good evening, Mr. Barrow!"

Peeves in the air trembled all over, the bread in his hand slipped, he turned around quickly and lowered his head, trembling like a good baby, he said: "Good night, sir, sir."

"run!"

John gave Dennis a push, and ran with him down the other corridor, which also leads back to Ravenclaw Tower.

Peeves sensed something was wrong, he raised his head carefully, squinted his eyes, and didn't see the terrifying image of the bloody Baron covered in blood.

"How dare you deceive Lord Peeves!"

Peeves reacted, opened his mouth wide and roared angrily, chasing John and Dennis frantically, he wanted them to pay the price, and let them know that Peeves is not easy to mess with!

But just after he took two steps, a hoarse and majestic voice came from behind him.

"Peves, you're in my way."

Peeves froze in place, and the entity was almost scared away.

He closed his eyes and turned around to apologize frantically: "I'm sorry, Sir, I didn't mean to."

Bloody Barrow's eyes were dull, his haggard face was expressionless, and he slowly drifted past Peeves and flew towards the corridor John left.
