Hogwarts: A Chinese-Style Professor

Chapter 31: An Unexpected Encounter with Six People

Chapter 31 The Unexpected Encounter with Six People

"We should study Fiendfire with the professor."

“You know, although the professor is usually very rational, he often gets stuck on the details when researching magic. We should keep an eye on him.”

Camille and Jowell walked through Hogwarts Castle. Cedric, who was walking slightly ahead of them, heard this and gave a wry smile without turning his head.

His two assistants were his seniors, whose knowledge and learning far surpassed his own. He respected them from the bottom of his heart and would not speak rashly.

Moreover, he was happy to learn more about Professor Li Wei from their conversation.

During their conversation, the three of them arrived at the auditorium.

The spacious hall was brightly lit and decorated with live bats.

On the candlelit dining table were golden platters, and huge pumpkins were carved into lanterns, large enough to seat three people.

The students moved among the benches, each with a smile on their face, excitedly discussing how Dumbledore's Skeleton Dance Company would perform.

Just looking at such a scene is enough to make one relax.

“You’re right, Camille.”

At this moment, Joe Verri spoke up.

"Such a beautiful view, we should invite the professor to come and see it with us."

Camille did not respond to him.

In such a situation, she couldn't bring herself to say anything that would spoil the mood.

Cedric's smile brightened considerably, and he continued their conversation:
"It will be decorated even more beautifully for Christmas, and then we'll invite the professor to take a stroll around the school."

Jia Meier did not respond, but her expression clearly wavered.

Jowell ignored her and said to Cedric:
"I think it's a good idea, and I'll try to invite the professor when the time comes."

After touring the auditorium, the three continued walking towards the underground classrooms.

“I find the theory you mentioned earlier very interesting, Cedric.”

"Do you mean?"

Cedric was flattered by Jowell's affirmation.

"Wizards should experience different things and feel different emotions in order to gain abundant spiritual power."

Although I think this is premature for an inexperienced wizard and a waste of effort.

But perhaps those who are like professors should be the ones to try what you're suggesting.

The three of them walked into the dimly lit underground, and Joe Verri's voice seemed to take on a deeper, more resonant tone.

"However, the professor's knowledge and skills far exceeded my expectations, so I cannot be sure what exactly the opportunity he has been looking for is."

After all, what led you to this theory was the professor's drama teaching.

The three of them walked down the corridor leading to Nick's nearly headless party. Candles were already lit there, but the atmosphere was completely different from that of the upper auditorium.

The small, dark candles burned with a bluish light, casting an eerie glow on the three people's faces.

"Alright, let's not talk about that anymore. Is this what a ghost's party is like? It's definitely a ghost-themed event."

With each step they took, the temperature dropped, and the wizard's robes even seemed somewhat thin in the heat.

But neither Jovel nor Camille seemed to be aware of any of this; instead, a faint smile appeared on their lips.

'It seems bringing them here was the right thing to do.'

Cedric had worried that the two might prefer the atmosphere of the auditorium, and now it seemed he was right—for them, different experiences were more interesting than a single setting. This matched the impression Cedric had of them.

He secretly rejoiced.

Cedric studied with Levi for two months, unconditionally exceeding all the assignments Levi gave him. He learned more from this professor than he had in the previous two years combined (one of which was wasted).

If possible, he would naturally want to give a corresponding return.

Even if it's just to make the professor's two assistants a little happier.
"Zzzra—Zzzra—"

It sounded like the noise of a thousand fingernails scratching on a giant blackboard.

Nick, who was almost headless, stood in the doorway, draped in a black velvet curtain.

“My dear friends,” he said with infinite sorrow, “welcome, welcome! I am so glad you could come.”

Cedric greeted him and led the two into the underground classroom, explaining in a low voice:

"The ghost took what just happened... uh... as a kind of music."

Joe smiled, finding it intriguing.

Jia Meier frowned slightly, but quickly relaxed.

They entered the underground classroom, which was crowded with hundreds of milky white, semi-transparent figures. Most of them were wandering around the crowded dance floor, waltzing to the terrible, trembling sound of thirty musical saws.

The band playing the saw sat on a stage covered with a black cloth, and a thousand candles were lit in a chandelier overhead, emitting a midnight blue light.

The three people's breaths formed puffs of mist in front of them, as if they had stepped into a freezer.

Just then, Joey snapped his fingers with a wry smile, and the area around the three of them immediately became a silent zone.

"This unique musical experience is enough once. If you listen to it all the time, I think it will become a bit of a burden."

"I agree."

Cedric smiled the same way and nodded.

Just as the group was about to wander around, a hand suddenly and unexpectedly landed on Camille's shoulder—!
Camille felt goosebumps erupt all over her body at that moment! She was so frightened that she almost turned pale, and without hesitation, she grabbed her wand and turned around—"Senior Sister Camille, what are you doing here—you don't look well?"

It turns out that the hand belonged to Hermione.

Because of Jowell's spell, Hermione called out to them for a long time from not far behind, but the three of them didn't hear her. That's why Hermione did the somewhat rash thing she did when she got closer.

"No—it's nothing."

Camille knew it wasn't Hermione's fault, so she naturally wouldn't hold a grudge against her—but she still glared at Jowell, who returned an apologetic smile.

Harry stood behind Hermione and chuckled to himself—he had clearly seen Camille's startled expression earlier—how to put it, even when she was frightened, she was still so adorable.

This senior sister Jia Meier doesn't seem as difficult to get along with as she appears.

The six people met unexpectedly in this gloomy underground place, which could be considered fate, so they decided to explore together.

Hermione quickly discovered how to please Camille—as long as she talked about Professor Levi, Camille's attitude would become much more agreeable.

This is easy to spot because the other person only speaks when the conversation touches on topics related to Professor Li Wei.

Harry and Ron followed behind the two ladies and the senior student.

Ron was initially a little scared, but now that others were backing him up, he felt much more relaxed and even started discussing with Harry the knight with an arrow stuck in his forehead who had just passed by.

Harry responded absentmindedly, his mind preoccupied with how to strike up a conversation with Camille.
