Unknown Intrusion

Chapter 6 The Power of Schools

Chapter 6 The Power of Schools

"Damn it, I'm too weak!"

The schoolbag had fallen to the ground at some point, and the rose petals slowly slid out of the open zipper, only to be picked up by a slender, fair hand.

She was a girl with long, black hair, wearing a white dress. She looked to be about the same age as Su Yu, with a beautiful face, especially her eyes, which resembled a pool of autumn water, and a hint of purity between her brows.

She held her schoolbag and glanced at Su Yu.

In the instant their eyes met, Su Yu could clearly sense her worry and a certain aversion to Wu Lang.

"stop!"

The crowd parted, and a middle-aged man with a serious tone walked over, his sharp eyes staring intently at the young man who was holding Su Yu by the neck.

"This is a school, what do you think this place is?"

The young man immediately let go.

Su Yu's toes touched the ground again, and he came to his senses, panting heavily.

"His family owes me money."

Then I heard the young man arguing, but his voice was noticeably weaker.

"I'm asking you, do you know what place this is?"

Su Yu recognized the familiar yet stern voice; it was the school's dean of students… The middle-aged man ignored any attempts to argue, coldly repeated himself, and then turned to say, “I know you, you’re a student at our school—are you alright?”

"I didn't do anything to him, so you'd better not talk nonsense. I'll be watching you!" The young man said to Su Yu, sounding somewhat flustered.

"Shut up! You trying to threaten people?" the middle-aged man roared, waving his hand: "Take him down!"

"Yes!" Several people in light green uniforms appeared beside the middle-aged man. They had already blocked the ordinary students, and now they rushed towards the man in response.

From them, Su Yu sensed a familiar majesty, as well as a faint, mysterious aura.

Although the aura was faint, it was not concealed.

“It seems to be law enforcement; I have to reassess the school.”

The awe-inspiring presence of the judiciary is actually quite easy to discern, which is somewhat unbelievable and proves the immense power of schools, even to the point of being politicized.

Unfortunately, the natives still knew nothing.

Wu Lang seemed to want to resist. He hadn't resisted at first, he was just being held, but as soon as he resisted, he was slapped hard across the face with a loud "smack," and his face was noticeably swollen.

The two guards grinned even more menacingly and raised their batons to strike him down.

"Are you okay?"

“I’m fine, teacher. He just grabbed my neck and lifted me up.”

His throat was still a little sore, but Su Yu didn't think much of it. He was more concerned about the other side than the pain.

"It's okay."

The middle-aged man seemed to have checked and breathed a sigh of relief. He smiled and pushed Su Yu through the crowd toward the school gate.

"Leave it to the teacher. Don't worry, the teacher will handle it."

"He'll pay the price for causing trouble at the school gate!"

Su Yu was no longer listening to what the middle-aged man was saying.

The moment I stepped across the school gate, a faint scream seemed to come from a distant place.

But then, a subtle force swept across the surroundings like ripples.

"The school does have it too."

Su Yu could vaguely sense that there was indeed a power to exorcise evil and purify, but more importantly, as he lowered his gaze, a faint white light appeared, forming a data frame with faint words floating on it.

"Startup task complete, starting up now."

Upon startup, two additional resource items appeared: Ash (5) and Gray Crystal (1).

Has the cheat code been activated?

Su Yu felt a sense of relief.

His plans have succeeded.

Since encountering the evil spirit, Su Yu has been drawing upon the knowledge of the natives and knows that as long as he doesn't panic, he can deal with it.

The contract is mutual; by holding back the evil spirit and weakening the sunlight, he succeeded.

But an evil spirit is still an evil spirit; simply letting sunlight wear it down will take many days, and it will suffer backlash every night. This process is difficult and dangerous.

So, I wanted to use the school's resources.

Sure enough, the school possessed mysterious powers and effortlessly destroyed the evil spirit.

It not only resolved the cause of the host's calamity, but also completed the activation task.

From then on, their fates were completely different.

Upon reflection, it's as if the dark clouds have parted, and a ray of golden sunlight shines into the heart, slowly melting the frost and snow that have accumulated over the years, turning them into spring water...

The shadow that had plagued the indigenous people for a decade was thus easily dispelled.

Who could know how many times the natives wandered back and forth, sighing in secret during this period?
is it hard?

difficult!
The indigenous people at the time could never have imagined this!

But it's not difficult.

By cleverly utilizing the courtyard and the school, he hardly spent any time.

Walking on the smooth, tree-lined avenue, I saw groups of students chatting about their holidays, while others glanced over and discussed what had just happened.

Su Yu remained indifferent and silent.

"The biggest problem is solved, my mysterious talent is undamaged, and my fate is completely different now, but my problems are far from over!"

“Exam-based admissions, creditors, bosses, and my father, invitations…” Su Yu narrowed his eyes, a cold glint flashing in them: “I’ll figure them all out one by one sooner or later.”

"You must be Su Yu. Be careful." The middle-aged man seemed to have finished asking his question and rushed over. His calm voice rang out, carrying a hint of warning.

Su Yu looked up in surprise and met a pair of slightly worried eyes.

"That person just now... no, it was nothing." The middle-aged man seemed to want to say something, but he ultimately gave up.

They probably thought that children wouldn't understand.

"Remember, stay away from that person. If anything goes wrong, come to school immediately."

"Students are safe at school."

"I can promise."

Feeling the familiar tone of voice, Su Yu felt a wave of dizziness wash over him again.

Memories from the past surged up from the depths of my heart, resurfacing, and my eyes unknowingly welled up with tears.

"It seems that I haven't fully mastered this body yet, and during this time... I've become more and more sentimental."

"But that's good, it makes it real, no one will doubt me!"

With this self-mocking thought in his heart, Su Yu nodded heavily.

"Ah."

The nasal tone of his reply made the middle-aged man laugh.

Why are you crying? Were you scared?

"Don't be afraid. The school is not a place that anyone can mess with, and he won't dare to act recklessly here again."

"Study hard, but don't feel pressured!"

"Ah."

Su Yu responded softly, seemingly lost in thought. It seemed that the school's influence was indeed greater than he had imagined; otherwise, it wouldn't have been so assertive.

And Qiaoqiao's father is also a powerful figure.

If I had put aside my so-called pride and asked for help sooner, maybe things wouldn't have come to this... like that?
Such a thought suddenly popped into her mind, but in the blink of an eye, it was firmly shattered by Su Yu.

"No, judging from Qiaoqiao, Mr. Cheng never gave up on me either, it's just... in the end, even she fell for it."

"perhaps……"

A guess suddenly flashed through the darkness like lightning, bringing with it a thunderous shock.

"It's because of Mr. Cheng that I was able to live to see ten years from now!"

The terrifying speculation made him involuntarily slow his pace.
