Chapter 76 Plan
Finally, Bai Yuetian seemed to think that the punishment time was over.

He put down his chopsticks, cleared his throat, and put on that smug look that said, "I have big news."

He leaned forward slightly, looking at Bai Yuekui with a mysterious expression.

"Yue Kui." He deliberately lowered his voice, but his excitement was not diminished at all.

"Didn't you go up that lighthouse back then?"

Bai Yuekui didn't even lift his eyelids, slowly picking up a piece of green vegetable with his chopsticks.

"Ah."

"Then... have you noticed that Gray, uh..." Bai Yuetian rubbed his hands together.

"Does he... have a wife and children?"

Bai Yuekui paused, finally glancing at him, but her eyes remained cold.

“I didn’t notice. What I talked about with him alone was that I performed a brain transplant on him. What happened?” Her tone was completely calm.

Bai Yuetian became even more excited after receiving this answer that she hadn't paid attention to.

"Hehe, you didn't know!"

He slapped his thigh hard, making a louder noise.

“Didn’t I just chat with that Red Heron for a bit? Oh right, Yue Kui, do you remember Red Heron? He’s one of the people Orange picked up from the lighthouse.”

"I just met Orange; she's sisters with the Red Bean we brought back earlier."

Yang Chen had just scooped a spoonful of soup into his bowl when he heard this, he nodded and mumbled a "hmm".

A vague sense of unease rose in his heart. Bai Yuetian's opening remarks were all too familiar; they were usually followed by some major discovery.

"Here comes the important part!" Bai Yuetian sat up even straighter, as if he was about to announce some earth-shattering secret.

"I heard some juicy gossip from Red Heron! That old scoundrel Gray, who used to use my handsome face, actually married a wife at the lighthouse! And they even had a daughter!"

Bai Yuekui frowned slightly, seemingly finding the topic utterly boring: "So?"

"So? So the best is yet to come!" Bai Yuetian's eyes lit up.

"Grena's daughter later married Morgan, the current lord of Lighthouse! She became the lord's wife! Right, Orange? I remember Red Heron saying that!"

Yang Chen poured water into his cup, trying to follow Bai Yuetian's logic: "...I didn't hear that."

"It's alright, just listen to me now." Bai Yuetian became even more excited.

"Then, Morgan and his wife, Gray's daughter, had a son! His name was Charles."

Bai Yuekui had already lowered his head to eat again, clearly having no interest in this kind of ethical drama.

But Bai Yuetian clearly had no intention of letting her go. He turned to Bai Yuekui, his smile so bright it was almost irritating.

"So! Yue Kui! You need to carefully sort out this relationship!"

He counted on his fingers with great seriousness: "Grey's daughter, born from my body, is my genetic daughter. My daughter married Morgan and gave birth to Charles, so Charles is my genetic grandson!"

He paused, looked at Bai Yuekui's exquisite profile with its calm expression, and then delivered his final conclusion.

"And you! Bai Yuekui! You are my younger sister, Bai Yuetian's own sister! So, according to seniority..."

He deliberately dragged out his words, laughing as he spoke.

"...You're that kid Charles's great-aunt! Hahahaha!"

"puff!!!"

The generational order derived by this genius logic had just been established when Yang Chen, sitting next to Bai Yuekui, was already in place.

He spat out the mouthful of water he had just taken a sip of before he could even swallow it.

Bai Yuetian, who was sitting opposite Yang Chen and waiting to see Bai Yuekui's amazing reaction, got sprayed in the face.

Water droplets streamed down Bai Yuetian's cheeks and dripped onto his brand-new clothes.

The dining table fell silent, save for the sound of water dripping.

Bai Yuekui slowly raised his head, his gaze calmly sweeping over the dazed Bai Yuetian, then looking at Yang Chen beside him, who was coughing and frantically searching for tissues.

Her aloof and stunningly beautiful face remained expressionless.

Yang Chen grabbed several tissues, leaned over across the table, and tried to wipe Bai Yuetian's face: "Cough cough... I'm sorry, I couldn't help it..." Bai Yuetian then came to his senses. He snatched the tissues Yang Chen offered and wiped his face haphazardly. He wiped the water off, but his hair was now a mess.

With this disfigured appearance, he looked at Bai Yuekui with a complicated expression, a mixture of disbelief and resentment at being ignored.

"Yue Kui? You...you don't even have any reaction?" He pointed to his disheveled face, then to Yang Chen.

"Look! Look at what he's spouting! This is such explosive news, you're now a great-great-grandmother!"

He then turned to Yang Chen: "Chengzi! Say something! You're involved too, you're a great-uncle now!"

"Such a senior figure, such a significant matter, and she's so calm?!"

Yang Chen nodded helplessly, his tone as perfunctory as if he were coaxing a child.

"Yes, yes, I'm a great-uncle now! I'm a great-uncle now..."

Bai Yuekui finally showed some reaction.

She put down her chopsticks, elegantly wiped her mouth with a napkin, and spoke to Bai Yuetian without even raising her eyelids.

"You'll have to clean it up yourself later."

“I can do it, I can do it!” Yang Chen immediately took over, stood up quickly, and began to tidy up the messy table in front of Bai Yuetian.

I crumpled up the wet tissue and went to get a clean rag.

"You two sit down, I'll take care of it," he said, quickly cleaning up.
Yang Chen neatly tidied up the mess on the table, picked up a few empty bowls and plates, and turned to go into the kitchen.

Soon, the sounds of running water and the soft clatter of dishes came from the kitchen.

Once inside the living room, the brother and sister sat down, and the air fell silent once more.

Bai Yuetian watched Yang Chen disappear through the kitchen doorway, then looked at her younger sister who was still sitting upright opposite her, as if nothing had happened.

He ruffled his messy hair haphazardly, trying to restore some semblance of his appearance, but with little success.

He cleared his throat, lowering his voice considerably this time, sounding quite serious.

He leaned forward slightly, his gaze falling on the science book that Bai Yuekui had been reading earlier, and tentatively began to speak.

"Hey, Yue Kui..."

Bai Yuekui didn't respond, but simply turned a page of the book, the pages making a soft rustling sound.

Bai Yuetian didn't seem to care and continued, "How's your plan going...?"

He paused, observing Bai Yuekui's reaction.

Seeing that there seemed to be a very slight pause in her turning the pages, he continued, "Haven't we found the general location of the particle collider?"

He leaned forward again: "Can your plan really work? Going back to the past?"

Bai Yuekui stopped turning the pages of the book completely. She closed the book and looked up at Bai Yuetian.

"Right now, it only exists in theory. If we could understand the principles behind Tasia's potential, perhaps it really would be possible."

“...Moreover,” Bai Yuekui’s voice was soft, yet carried an undeniable certainty.

Her gaze pierced through her brother, as if she had returned to a distant childhood memory.

"Brother, I've told you this more than once."

She paused for a moment: "I saw Yang Chen when I was a child, I saw him clearly, that's why I brought him back back then."

Bai Yuetian was stunned. He had indeed heard his sister mention this more than once.

Bai Yuekui had described it to him very stubbornly when he was a child.

Suddenly, a big brother with a gentle look in his eyes and wearing strange clothes appeared behind her.

When he heard his sister say that, he thought she was a human trafficker.

“Yue Kui…” Bai Yuetian opened his mouth, as if to say something.

“That’s not an illusion,” Bai Yuekui interrupted him decisively, his tone unusually certain.

“Absolutely not. His appearance, the tone of his voice… were exactly the same as the one I met later in the wasteland.”
