"I can tell you have a problem, so go ahead and ask."

The principal rested his elbows on his desk, leaned forward, and looked at Lu Mingfei.

Lu Mingfei thought for a moment, then raised his head and calmly asked:
"Ronald Don? How can he be the King of Bronze and Fire? Can dragons take human form?"

The principal nodded:
“You used to think that slaying a dragon was just killing a big monster. But dragons can indeed appear in human form, but they are still a different race. Their understanding of the world is different from ours, and they cannot be regarded as human.”

A large envelope was handed to Lu Mingfei. Lu Mingfei opened the envelope, his hand trembling slightly. Inside was a photo of Old Tang. Old Tang was playing cards with a group of people at a table. The background was a coffee shop, and sunlight streamed in through the floor-to-ceiling windows, making Old Tang's young face appear bright.

The principal gave a slight nod to Lu Mingfei.

One of his almost only three friends was the Dragon King.

Lu Mingfei didn't want to recall this.

"All right."

Angers suddenly changed his amiable expression and tone, becoming serious.

"That concludes the Q&A session. As the principal, I will now ask you a few questions on behalf of the Board of Trustees."

Lu Mingfei was startled by this change and immediately sat up straight.

"During the operation, several agents witnessed you exhibiting some dragon-like behavior. Did you secretly use prohibited drugs or perform forbidden rituals to forcibly enhance your bloodline, causing it to go out of control?"

His gaze was as sharp as a hawk's, as if trying to pierce through the gauze and look directly into Lu Mingfei's soul.

Lu Mingfei blurted out, his voice rapid and clear:
“I absolutely did not use any prohibited substances, and I did not lose control.”

Lu Mingfei let out a long sigh.

Angers looked at the young man before him, whose body was wrapped in gauze yet already exuded a sharp edge, and couldn't help but chuckle softly as if he had heard something extremely amusing:

“Mingfei, you seem to lack a clear understanding of your current ‘weight’.”

He leaned forward slightly, his tone solemn:

"If it weren't for the fact that the top brass of the Secret Party was intentionally protecting you and blocking the news, by now, the name 'Lu Mingfei' would have already resounded throughout the global mixed-race world, known to everyone. Right now, just circulating within the academy and the party's core circle has already made you the center of the storm."

He emphasized his tone:

"Be confident, young man. You have personally ended the reign of Norton, the King of Bronze and Fire! You are the first original Dragon Lord in human history to be confirmed to have been completely killed!"

Lu Mingfei was somewhat stunned by this huge "hat" he was hit with. He could only awkwardly rub the bandage on his chin with his bandaged fingers.

"It is Beowulf, the 'Dragonblood'."

Angers revealed the answer, his tone calm:

"Their family history is a living epic of dragon slaying, with a tradition of directly consuming ancient dragon serum to strengthen themselves. They are absolute hawks within the Secret Society. They greatly admire you."

The principal paused deliberately on the word "appreciate":
"They even expressed a strong desire to meet with you directly."

He abruptly changed the subject, his tone decisive and leaving no room for argument:
"However, I took it for you."

Lu Mingfei bowed his head in thanks.

"Thank you, principal."

"One last question."

Angers slightly raised his hand, indicating that he didn't need to do that.

“We haven’t found Norton’s remains. You witnessed his death; do you have any clues about where the remains are?”

Lu Mingfei certainly had a clue.

Because the remains of the Dragon King Norton are hidden in his space!
"No."

Lu Mingfei, without changing his expression or skipping a beat, said:
"I was exhausted at the time. If Caesar hadn't acted decisively and sent out small boats to search for me, I probably would have drowned in the Three Gorges Dam."

Originally, it was just a last-ditch effort to ask questions; as long as there was a decent answer, the principal could get by.

Finally, Angers stood up, walked around the large mahogany desk, and stood in front of Lu Mingfei. He reached out again, this time not with a light pat, but with a heavy weight pressing down on Lu Mingfei's bandaged shoulder.

The old man leaned slightly forward, his gaze fixed on those brown eyes, his voice low but clear:

"Finally, there is one more commendation. It does not represent Kassel College, the Peruvian Party, or the Board of Trustees."

He paused for a moment, then said, word by word, "On behalf of myself, Hilbert Jean Angers."

"Well done."
