Chapter 49 Who is the Young Lady?

After arguing for a long time, Kitagawa Ayane was reluctant to hang up the phone. When it was time for Lin Ze to rest, he said "That's it" almost without hesitation and hung up.

There was no room left for Kitagawa-senpai to continue wasting his time.

He put the phone back on the table.

For a moment, Lin Ze was unsure of his own feelings.

He pondered the words "I miss you," something that didn't sound like something a senior would normally say. There were two possibilities: one, she was genuinely upset but didn't dare break the rules, using the phone call to express her anxiety by saying strange things; two, it meant exactly what she said—that after spending so much time together, she had become dependent on him.

Lin Ze had just stepped into the classroom and put down his schoolbag when he was, as usual, in the last row of the classroom, next to Yamazaki Yu and Otomo Shoji, whom he happened to meet.

The two were full of energy in the morning, arguing back and forth.

Specifically, Xiangzhi felt that his performance yesterday was very "manly," as only a handful of people in the observation room watched the entire surgery, and he was one of them.

Self-praise is acceptable, but what Yamazaki Yu cannot accept is the subsequent attacks.

Xiangzhi's meaning is simple: he and Lin Ze are both real men, while Yamazaki Yu is slightly lacking in this aspect.

Her eyes immediately curved into crescent moons, and she turned around, her skirt fluttering, to retrieve her report.

The fragrance lingered for a long time.

Miyagi, whose looks were among the best in the entire class, or even the entire medical school, possessed a smile that was exceptionally comforting. Leaning against Lin Ze, Yamazaki Yu and Otomo Shoji immediately stopped arguing when they noticed Miyagi approaching.

They do it on their own without needing any persuasion.

The two watched as their usually aloof class monitor appeared flustered.

Their eyes met.

Then their gazes fell on the bottle of water on the table.

It's clearly just a bottle of water, but the packaging is so exquisite, even the bottle itself has a sapphire-like color.

Lin Ze, however, did not notice anything unusual about the bottle of water. He picked it up, opened the stopper, and took a sip. He raised an eyebrow and thought the water was very refreshing and quite sweet.

"What does it taste like?" Yamazaki Yu immediately leaned over and asked.

What can mineral water taste like?

Lin Ze didn't think much of it and handed the bottle to him directly.

Then he saw Shoji Otomo and Yu Yamazaki examining the mineral water bottle, even taking out their phones to take pictures, looking quite amazed.

"14100 yen!" Yamazaki Yu exclaimed as the price appeared on his phone screen after taking the picture.

"What?" Lin Ze raised an eyebrow.

"I meant the price of this bottle of water; the brand is Felix."

“Ze-san really doesn’t care about anything outside of studying…” Otomo Shoji leaned back in his chair and shrugged. “The class representative is from the Miyagi family. Her family is in the shipping industry. Her father must hold an important position in the club, since the original surname of KLIN Ocean Company is Miyagi.”

Lin Ze realized for the first time that his two brothers were quite knowledgeable, even knowing about the family backgrounds of other classmates.

It seems that everyone has strengths, and having an advantage in learning is just one of them.

"Sigh... When will I be able to make girls blush with just a smile?" Shoji Otomo sighed.

"It's all just modeling," Yamazaki Yu scoffed.

"Who says it isn't?"

The two reached an agreement, seemingly forgetting that they had just been arguing.

Associate Professor Fujita was delayed for a while, and it was long past the agreed time before he leisurely arrived at the classroom.

He still teaches one student at a time.

Lin Ze's eyes lit up instantly. It was like someone offering a pillow when you're sleepy. He was thinking that if he didn't have a chance to try out his skills, he would go to Shimazu-senpai's place to mooch off her.
