Chapter 31 Strange Mission
Upon learning the code name for the first time, Fingel, just like Chu Zihang and Chen Motong, pondered the deeper meaning behind it.
As the Fool had mentioned at the last meeting, the meaning of the code names would be revealed to everyone later. Chu Zihang and Chen Motong were also curious, but they didn't ask directly.

As Bao Lie became more and more skilled at playing the Fool, he grew increasingly mysterious and dignified: "When Mr. White Tower joined, I already told him the method of acting, so there's no need to go into details again."

"Also, congratulations to Mr. Error and Ms. Dreamer on your successful promotion."

"Regarding the current role-playing method, Mr. Error, the advice remains the same: practice more."

"As for the dreamer lady, she can be guided appropriately, the key is to be gentle and reasonable."

Xu Lie's main body is already at Sequence 6, but at the meeting, it would be more appropriate to keep in line with the newcomers.

Chen Motong took a closer look at Xu Lie. She had thought that Xu Lie would be far ahead of all the newcomers, but it turned out that Mr. Mistake was just as good as her.

However, Chen Motong remembered that he had digested 70% of the Mind Reader's Potion after drinking it, and his eyebrows, hidden behind the gray mist, curved with pleasure.

Being evenly matched for the time being doesn't matter; she'll definitely be the one to advance in the future! Chen Motong was full of confidence in herself.

Xu Lie and Chen Motong both expressed their gratitude for Mr. Fool's suggestions on how to act, thanking him for his guidance.

Chu Zihang and Fingel were somewhat taken aback, completely unprepared for their fellow believers to have advanced so quickly.

Chu Zihang, in particular, remembered very clearly that during the first meeting, the Fool had said that among the new recruits, some had already drunk the potion, while others had not.

In other words, whether he was a mistaker or a dreamer, one of them drank the potion later than him, yet advanced faster.

This made Chu Zihang, who had always been number one in everything he did since childhood, feel a slight sense of urgency.

It seems that after the meeting, I need to continue to find Professor Schneider, carry out the next mission, digest the Hunter's Potion as soon as possible, and complete the promotion.

Fingel, a newcomer, didn't have many thoughts yet. He seemed honest, but in reality, he was trying his best to remember everything around him and silently gathering information.

Bao Lie skillfully manipulated the gray mist, forming four new gray papers, which floated to each member: "Everyone did a great job on the last mission. This is your new mission."

When Fingel was invited to join the group, he was already given the task of collecting materials, so Fingel was no stranger to this task.

After politely thanking him, Fingel looked at his assigned task: to obtain a pair of Glazed Dragon Eyes, a pair of large canine eyes containing dragon blood, a Dragon Blood Ancient Tree Fruit, and a Dragon Blood Wolf Heart.

Each material contributes 400 points.

All of these are relatively inexpensive alchemy materials, so it's not a difficult task for Fingel.

He didn't even need to go to the clock tower to find the vice principal; a quick stroll through the alchemy classroom at the Kassel headquarters would have been enough.

Chu Zihang frowned slightly because his task was rather strange: collect and memorize detailed information on any thirty official members of the Kassel Executive Department, and use this information to gain their trust, for a contribution of 100 points.

What is the old church plotting?

Want to win over members of the executive department?
That doesn't make sense either. It should be that the executive members join the association. Why is the mission requirement to trust Chu Zihang?
Chen Motong immediately took the gray paper and began reading her task: Use the mind reader's ability to become an assistant to the psychological counselor in Kassel, 100 contribution points.

"?" If Chen Motong could control the gray fog here, he would definitely have several huge question marks made up of gray fog on his forehead right now. This mission is too strange. Of course, Chen Motong knew that there were several psychological counselors in Kassel who were specifically responsible for treating the reasoning problems of intelligent hybrids.

The example that psychology teachers like to cite the most is that more than forty years ago, there was a genius student in Kassel with an S-class bloodline who committed suicide by shooting himself in his second year of college.

It was only after that that Kassel began to pay attention to the mental illnesses of mixed-race individuals.

But why did the old church make her the counselor's assistant? Did one of the counselors harbor a great secret that she needed to uncover?
Faced with the newly assigned task, everyone fell silent for a moment, their thoughts swirling as they speculated about the meaning behind the mission.

Bao Lie's portrayal of the Fool was spot-on. After saying all that, he leaned back and said, "You can talk freely now."

While the other three were still pondering, Xu Lie himself spoke first: "Then I'll share some information with you all."

"I'm currently in Japan and I've discovered that the Kassel branch doesn't have a very good relationship with headquarters. The local mixed-race population is almost completely outside the control of headquarters."

"Who knows when the headquarters and the Japanese branch might clash in the future?"

"I would also like to ask the three of you if any of you have or know how to preserve a soul? I would like to trade related knowledge and alchemical tools."

“!” Fingel immediately turned his head to look at Xu Lie.

The information shared by Xu Lie was nothing special; the school, including Fingel, had long known that the mixed-race members of the Japanese branch were only superficially united with the main branch.

What Fingel valued most was preserving the soul!
His girlfriend EVA's soul is preserved inside the supercomputer Norma. This soul preservation technology was only possible thanks to his teacher Nicholas's alchemy.

Why does this Mr. Error want this technology?
Compared to Fingel, who was skilled in alchemy, Chu Zihang and Chen Motong were far inferior. Each had their own expertise, and the two of them had no idea how to preserve souls.

But Chen Motong wasn't about to let Mr. Mistake have all the credit: "I also have some information. Kassel College is planning a Kuimen Project in the south of the country. I haven't gotten the details yet."

Chu Zihang has once again set his sights on Chen Motong. Rather than a mistake, this dreamer seems to be an insider at the academy, possessing very secret information.

What to do? Should we withstand the pressure of being discovered by the fools and inform Professor Schneider that the plan has been leaked?
Despite the gazes cast by Xu Lie and Chen Motong, Chu Zihang remained silent, maintaining his aloof persona and not uttering a single word.

Fingel looked around and chimed in, "Well, since everyone's so enthusiastic, I'll share some intelligence too. Several dragon-slaying families in North America are secretly joining forces, attempting to rival Cassel."

"By the way, I also regularly collect books on mysticism and alchemy, but of course, I don't want the generic ones that are available in the Kassel Library."

Chu Zihang and Chen Motong both said they would keep an eye out for him, while secretly guessing that this Mr. White Tower might be from North America.

Xu Lie was a little disappointed, as he had originally wanted to obtain the soul preservation technology from Fingel.

Because one of the main ingredients for the potion used by the Sequence 6 Fire Thief to advance to the Sequence 5 Dream Thief is a corrupted soul, which in the Dragon World would be the soul of a hybrid that has fallen into the Deadpool.

If Fingel deliberately remains silent, Xu Lie will have no choice but to sacrifice one of his Time Worm clones to store his soul in the future.

Seeing that the four people's exchange and transaction had come to an end, Bao Lie tapped the table one last time: "Then, meeting adjourned."
