Chapter 500, 498: The Black Dog of Misfortune

Chapter 500, 498: The Black Dog of Misfortune

“The wizard, just like I said, from afar…”

Butler Pukchi's voice was deep.

Strangely, there wasn't a single wizard around it.

So who is it talking to?

A passing witch glanced at it curiously a few more times.

Before she could figure out what was going on, Pukchi, leading the black dog, left.

Sheen watched as the butler, Pukchi, left, and as he gazed at the emaciated black dog, more thoughts came to mind.

He needs to travel to the forests of Albania. While the chances of finding Voldemort are slim, Sheen can test more of the Soul Relics' abilities—such as attempting to forcibly pull Voldemort's soul into a dream.

Secondly, he had already retrieved the Slytherin locket from Black's old house, and Sheen could easily recall a hero hidden in the dust of history—Regulus Black.

Returning his body to his brother, Sirius, was Sheen's way of showing respect to this Slytherin hero.

In addition, once the locket is destroyed, Sheen must begin searching for Nagini's whereabouts, and he thinks that perhaps Sirius can help.

So, no matter what, Sheen decided to meet Sirius again.

While he was pondering, Sheen silently watched Harry as he came to his senses.

"A sign of impending death..."

Harry muttered to himself, staring at a spot not far away, in the same direction as Sheen's gaze—the place where the black dog had disappeared.

Harry thought about the black dog on the book cover, as big as a bear, with its bright eyes... How could it be so similar to that black dog?

"That couldn't be a sign of death."

Harry muttered.

The omen of death, the black dog, has now appeared in room 10 of the Leaky Cauldron.

In the dimly lit room, the emaciated man was pressed against the wall, and even just one glance at him was enough to overwhelm one's surging emotions.

He opened his mouth but made no sound, letting tears slide down his skin-covered, bony cheeks.

"Why bother? Are all wizards as foolish as you...?"

Butler Pukchi muttered something to himself.

“If you knew everything, if your master possessed such powerful magic… you would know how foolish I was.”

Blake said with a bitter laugh.

“No, wizard. It’s Mr. Green who’s great. But I want to know how you escaped from there? My husband says that stuff makes people lose their minds…”

Butler Pukchi suddenly became somewhat interested in the man in front of him.

"You want to know?"

Blake raised his bloodshot eyes.

"Generally speaking."

"That's what Butler Pukchi said honestly."

"It seems that you don't fully understand everything either, which is consistent with my perception of these kinds of people."

I'll tell you, but I also have a small question: how often can I see your husband again?

Blake's eyes flickered.

Those tears had been quietly wiped away; he had more important things to do, and now, a wizard he knew nothing about, yet who was incredibly powerful and mysterious, might be able to help him.

"Humph……"

Butler Pukchi chuckled.
"A loyal butler has no worries..."

My husband will be there at 6 PM this afternoon.

Butler Pukchi suddenly changed his tune, seemingly because of the ripples appearing on the mirror in front of him. Blake recognized it as a magical object very similar to a two-way mirror, but much smaller. He was certain it was a new type of alchemical creation he had never seen before.

"Now, can you tell me how you did it, wizard?"

"Butler Pukchi asked."

"I don't know how I did it,"

Having received a reply, Blake spoke slowly.
"I think the only reason I didn't lose my mind is because I knew I was innocent."

That wasn't a pleasant thought, so the Dementors couldn't suck it out of my head... but it kept me conscious and aware of who I was...

It also allows me to preserve my magic... so when things get... too unbearable... I can shapeshift in my cell... into a dog.

You know, Dementors can't see..."

He swallowed.

"Dementors, they approach people by sensing their emotions... When I turned into a dog, they probably sensed that my emotions weren't very strong—not very human-like, nor very complex..."

Of course, they assumed I was losing my mind like the other prisoners, so they didn't pay any attention.

But I am so weak, so very weak, and without a wand, I have no hope of banishing them…

But then, when I saw that mouse in the photo Fudge was holding… I realized that guy was at Hogwarts, right next to Harry…

If word gets to him that the underworld is making a comeback, that would be the perfect place for him to strike…

Blake revealed a deep-seated hatred; he gritted his teeth.

"...Once he has secured allies, he will take action...to give them the last member of the Potter family."

If he could offer Harry up, who would dare say he betrayed Voldemort? He would be welcomed like a hero…

So I had to do something, because only I knew that Peter was still alive…

Butler Pukchi doesn't quite understand human emotions, but it can clearly sense Sirius Black's hatred at this moment.

"It was as if someone lit a fire in my head, and the Dementors couldn't extinguish it... It wasn't a pleasant thought... It was an obsession... But it gave me strength and kept my mind clear."

So one evening, when they opened the door to bring in their food, I turned into a dog and sneaked over...

They're not very sensitive to animal emotions, so they got confused... I'm so thin... so thin I could squeeze through the iron fence...

I swam back to the mainland using a dog's body... heading north... I wanted to see him, but you found me."

That concludes Sirius's story.

The room fell silent until the door creaked open.

"Mr. Black."

Sheen walked in.

“Mr. Green…”

Sirius glanced at the clock; it was exactly six o'clock, without the slightest error.

"Are you looking for me?"

Sheen said softly.

Why...why are you helping me?

Sirius asked the question that had been accumulating for a long time.
"Just because I'm innocent? There are so many witches in the world who have suffered injustice..."

"Because we share the same goal, sir."

Sheen said.

"What? Target? Fight the mysterious man? You must be kidding me..."

Sirius chuckled self-deprecatingly, but then he seemed to recall something, such as a wizard named Grimm once revealing the servants of the Mystic at Hogwarts, or something like…
