Chapter 100-99: Apology
Chapter 100-99: Apology
"We've never seen that Green come to training..."
Wood paced anxiously back and forth on the wet ground, ignoring the mud clinging to his feet.
"He's definitely Ravenclaw's secret weapon! Just like you, Harry."
You have to help the team figure this out, Harry. Only you can do it...
If we go, we'll definitely alert them. Those Ravenclaws will never let us know the real answer; they're masters of scheming.
Just like how we always part ways with you as soon as we leave the Quidditch pitch, they're definitely trying to keep this a secret!
Wood's task is causing Harry a lot of distress.
So he found Ron.
"Grimm's Notebook, oh no, you mean that Ravenclaw Grimm?"
Inside the auditorium, Ron was writing something on a piece of parchment, scratching his head and biting his pen.
Harry could totally understand how he felt, after all, it was the weekend and they hadn't even touched their homework.
If they couldn't finish, the other professors wouldn't know, but Professor Snape would definitely throw them out of the castle.
Well, now Harry has one more thing to worry about.
"Yes, Ron, what kind of person do you think he would be?"
Harry said in a low voice.
What else can we do!
Ron suddenly slammed his quill on the table, looking like he knew everything.
“Okay, okay, you know Percy, right? People like him are always so self-important, acting superior, and liking to boss everyone around them around…”
Ron agreed wholeheartedly.
“Remember Platform Nine and Three-Quarters? My mom told you to watch out for Peeves, and he said, ‘It’s Barrow the Blood, not Peeves, Mom.’ Seriously, you’re so ignorant.”
He imitated Percy's tone, and his appearance was quite funny.
But Harry couldn't laugh at all; he retorted somewhat uncertainly:
"But Sheehan Green and the prefect... aren't they different?"
"Seriously, Harry, how could you think that?"
Ron shrugged.
"If he were different, he wouldn't be playing with Hermione..."
As if remembering something, Ron almost gritted his teeth.
“Remember? ‘So you think this is a reward for breaking the school rules’? I think he’s a nightmare, just like Hermione!”
Ron's words left Harry silent for a long time.
Until Neville, who had just walked by, suddenly stammered out a few words:
“Sheen… he’s not what you guys said…”
"Oh, come on, Neville, I guess they're just pitying you, like Hermione..."
Ron realized he had said the wrong thing halfway through his sentence. He knew he must have been so overwhelmed by his homework that he had said such hurtful things.
"Hug, hug, I'm sorry, Neville, that's not what I meant."
He stammered an apology.
He only breathed a long sigh of relief after Neville forgave him.
“Sheen, it’s different.”
Mentioning Sheehan lessened Neville's cowardice considerably; he repeated it again, his resolve hardening.
"Sheen said: If you want to understand someone, you can't listen to rumors and gossip; you have to actually get to know them, just like... me..."
After Neville finished speaking, his face turned red. These were the words Sheen used to comfort himself. He never thought that one day he would be able to bravely say them.
“Well said, Neville!” Justin walked over, his exclamation making Neville blush bright red.
"To bravely stand up for one's friends is also a kind of courage."
Justin whispered sincerely to Neville,
“You did a really good job—by the way, Harry, good evening.”
"Good evening--"
Harry responded somewhat uncertainly, after all, he and Ron had just spoken ill of others.
Justin ignored Ron; he knew that if a person cannot choose his own life, cannot have hope and sincerity, then he will only become more and more narrow-minded.
Just like that red-haired wizard.
That's when.
Sheen left the auditorium with the book in his hand. He had an hour before he reached the cellar, and he planned to go to the classroom to practice his spell-stopping technique for a while.
He took out a piece of parchment with a schedule that Professor Flitwick had happily written for him, which would make it easy for Sheen to find him during his free time.
Although the professor was constantly pushing his own limits—for example, getting drunk at the Three Broomsticks bar and losing track of the time—Sheen would practice his spells on his own until the professor returned.
As Sheehan passed the fireplace in the corner, he saw Justin, Harry, Ron, and Neville huddled together talking.
Ron looked somewhat frightened after making eye contact with him, and Harry wasn't much better off.
Sheen didn't pay any attention and walked straight out of the auditorium.
"It's over, it's over..."
Ron stared blankly, his mouth agape. His hair was a mess, and his head, which had been foggy from all the homework, suddenly cleared up considerably.
"Did Green hear us? Merlin, I don't understand anything, what did I say?!"
His eyes turned completely gray; he seemed to already see the words written in large letters on Green's notebook:
"Ron and the dog must not be seen."
Justin was somewhat surprised to see Ron grabbing his hair.
This Gryffindor doesn't seem bad, just... a little reckless.
Harry and Ron were not much different in their states of mind, and he subconsciously took Ron's words as the fault of both of them.
The fire crackled in the fireplace. Harry and Ron exchanged a glance, as if they had made a huge decision:
“Neville is right…we seem to have made another mistake. Justin, can you tell me how to find Sheehan?”
He looked at Justin, his eyes seeming to hold a lion.
“Sheehan will appear in the second-floor hallway at six o’clock tonight, Harry. If you and… Mr. Weasley want to apologize, you can find him at that time.”
Justin couldn't help but laugh until Harry and Ron left.
She thought to herself that Sheen would definitely be startled by this unexpected turn of events.
……
evening.
A stained-glass window in the corridor flashed across Sheen's face. He glanced into the distance and saw a giant carrying a lantern walking by outside the castle. The lantern in the giant's hand was several times larger than the one in Sheen's hand.
Just then, Harry and Ron waited anxiously beside a gleaming suit of armor.
Perhaps, as Ron said, Sheen is indeed an arrogant person?
He would definitely scoff dismissively and leave.
Or should I teach myself a lesson like Hermione did?
Harry thought that if he really took out his wand, he would be doomed, since he couldn't beat the trolls and he couldn't defeat the werewolves with his bare hands.
But the reality was completely different from Harry's expectations—
"Are you saying that you spoke ill of me without my knowledge, and now you want to apologize to me?"
