Chapter 32 Clark the Snitch, and the Sleepy Dio (Please continue reading)

Locke carefully helped Logan, who was unconscious after being hit by Ola 100 times, onto the sofa and covered him with a quilt.

I have to say that the adamantium skull is really hard.

His fist hurt a little.

"Another future person?"

"Did you come here specifically to see me this time?"

"Wow~"

The boy whistled, a playful smile playing on his lips. "It seems my future self is very popular?"

If only the world wasn't raising its fist at Logan's head when you said that.
Sighing, Locke reached out and ruffled Dio's blonde hair.

"Stinky boy, take your substitute back first."

He glanced at the mess in the living room—

Spilled food, broken plates, and three deep scratches on the wall made by steel claws.

"Do you know why they came back?"

Dio shrugged, looking nonchalant: "It depends on the situation."

"It's definitely related to me."

"Dior!"

But before Locke could explain, Clark's voice came from outside the window:

"Dio! Why are you running so fast? Mom said she forgot to take your blueberry pie! She said Uncle Locke must not have eaten it tonight."

The voice stopped abruptly, and a pair of blue eyes widened as they looked at the scene in the living room.

"Uh is this the new birthday party decoration?"

"And who is this uncle?"

"A unconscious traveler." Locke said naturally.

"Okay, Uncle Locke."

Clark nodded obediently, while Dio beside him snorted coldly and walked towards the stairs with his hands in his pockets, his golden bangs casting a shadow in front of his eyes.

"I'm going to bed, Dad."

Without even turning his head, he said, "Also, chase him away tomorrow when he wakes up. Thank you."

Watching Dio disappear around the corner of the stairs, Locke couldn't help but smile.

He must care.

after all
"Uncle Locke." The boy stuck out his tongue and whispered, "Actually, Dio is looking forward to tomorrow."

"This kid..." Locke shook his head and took the blueberry pie from Clark's hand. The warm and sweet smell made him relax a little. He ruffled Clark's fluffy curly hair and smiled, "Thank your mother for the pie for me."

"Ok!"

Clark nodded vigorously, and when he turned around, he couldn't help but glance at Logan who was unconscious on the sofa.

The boy suddenly lowered his voice: "Uncle Locke, this uncle looks so sad. He even frowns when he sleeps."

Locke was stunned when he heard this, and then he noticed that even though Logan was unconscious, his muscles were still tense.

Even the injuries he had just suffered from being beaten repeatedly with the Platinum Star had recovered.

Adamantium?

"It's okay." Locke gently pushed Clark towards the door, "When this uncle wakes up, we'll treat him to your mother's blueberry pie, which is guaranteed to make him smile.

Clark nodded, turned around and was about to leave when he seemed to suddenly remember something.

His blue eyes shone back.

"Uncle Locke!"

"I almost forgot to tell you a secret!"

Locke raised an eyebrow and placed the blueberry pie on the relatively clean dining table: "Oh? What's so mysterious?"

Clark waved mysteriously, motioning Locke to squat down.

When Locke came closer, the boy put his hands to his mouth and whispered excitedly:
"Dio actually fell asleep in class today! He slept for two whole periods!"

"what?!"

This secret was so shocking that Locke's voice suddenly rose.

He quickly lowered his voice, "Are you sure you're sleeping? Not pretending to be asleep?"

"Absolutely true!"

Clark nodded vigorously, and his curly hair bounced.

"Physics class! Mr. Jones called him three times and he didn't wake up! Finally, I had to hit him with an eraser to wake him up!"

That's a lot of strength, no wonder Dio would
No, these are not the main points!
Locke straightened up in shock.

This is so unusual. Dio would at most skip a class he didn't like and go to the library, but he would never sleep in the classroom, let alone in his favorite subject, physics. "Well done, Clark."

Locke ruffled the boy's hair and said, "You must tell me about this kind of thing next time."

"Ok!"

Clark replied happily, skipping towards the door.

"Then I'm going back to help Mom prepare for tomorrow's birthday party! Good night, Uncle Locke!"

After seeing Clark off, Locke stood in the messy living room and fell into deep thought.

In a situation like this in the past, he might have just gone with Dio.

After all, that kid has always been at the top of his class, so it's normal for him to stay up late reading occasionally.

but.
His eyes drifted to the unconscious Wolverine on the couch.

No, Locke might be able to control himself, but it is unlikely that Locke, as an old father, can control himself.

"I have to ask that brat."

He tiptoed up the stairs and stopped in front of Dio's room.

"Dio?" Locke pushed the door open tentatively. "Dad wants to talk to you."

The words stopped abruptly.

The scene in the room made Locke's blood freeze instantly -

Dio lay on the bed, green energy ripples surrounding him.

He sat at his desk with his eyes closed, letting the world take in?!

"Shhhhh!"

With the physics textbook open, the world is still frantically writing complex formulas on the notebook with a pen without ink!

And all this.
Obviously, Dio did all this unconsciously!
Oh my god, the world is secretly rolling back Star Platinum's back!

"What the hell."

Locke subconsciously summoned Star Platinum, "Dio! Wake up!"

"boom--!"

The world disappeared and the pen fell on the table.

"Dad, what are you doing? I just went to bed."

Rubbing his sleepy eyes, Dio's red pupils were filled with impatience.

His blond bangs stuck up in a messy pattern, and the collar of his pajamas was tilted to one side, revealing the scar on his collarbone and the star birthmark on his shoulder.

Locke stood by the bed, his Adam's apple rolling.

"Dio." He tried to keep his voice steady. "Have you been enjoying sleeping lately?"

The boy's expression froze for a moment, and then he rolled his eyes: "Did that traitor Clark say that?"

"hateful!"

"Tomorrow we'll make a poster with the coordinates of his secret base and distribute it to all the kids in town!"

"That's not the point, son." Rubbing Dio's head, Locke carefully considered his words and said earnestly, "What just happened, did you really not feel anything?"

"?"

Three question marks practically appeared in Dio's head:
"What else can I do? I'll sleep if I want to!"

"and you."

Locke asked tentatively, "Did you dream?"

"No."

Dio scratched his messy blond hair and said, "I've been sleeping really well lately, sleeping through the night."

"Dad, what's wrong with you so late at night?"

"Row"

Locke took a deep breath and said, "Then show me the world."

"what?!"

Dio's expression was as if he had heard the most ridiculous request in the universe.

"You woke me up in the middle of the night just to see my double?"

However, despite complaining, the boy still snapped his fingers.

The golden stand appeared in response, emitting a soft glow in the dim room.

Locke moved in closer to observe carefully. The power of the platinum microscope allowed him to see even the tiniest lines on the world!
Then he saw it.
At the seam of the armor on the right shoulder of "The World".
A prismatic crystal mark emitting a faint green light—

Kryptonite?!
Damn, the scheduled release is stuck for me
