Super Magician: The Magic Network Collapsed Again at the Start
Chapter 65 Remarks on the launch
Chapter 65 Remarks on the launch
It will be available tomorrow at noon, which is 12:00 on August 27, 2025.
First of all, I would like to thank all the readers for their support. It is your continued reading and support that has brought this book to where it is today.
Your support is my motivation for writing, and I hope to work with everyone to make this book even better.
I would also like to thank my editor, Professor Bacon, for his tremendous help and advice.
This is my third book. My first book was a gift from fate. It became a masterpiece without me even realizing it, with an average subscription of over 4500. But at the time, I didn't consider making a living from it. I guess I wasn't serious enough later on.
I was really serious about my second book, but unfortunately I didn't understand online novels enough. I overestimated myself and tried to imitate the masters, and as expected, it flopped.
But it was also this book that helped me truly understand myself and roughly know how to write online novels.
My third book, "Super Magician: The Magic Network Collapsed Again at the Start," has been a source of anxiety and trepidation throughout its development, so I've put in an extremely...super...super effort!!!
If I fail again, I'll have no choice but to go back to sucking up to my boss and clients, hoping someone will give me a job.
Fortunately, the results so far have been quite good. It topped the new book charts and the overall charts just over 100,000 words ago, which is an exciting start for a fantasy novel, especially since fantasy has really declined.
I'm a novel and game enthusiast. I've read D&D novels a long time ago, but most of them are just pseudo-D&D, and they don't feel the same as what I expected (not that they're bad, some of them are quite good).
So I decided to write my own book, because I felt that if I wanted to read it, other readers would also want to read it.
To avoid making silly mistakes, I started learning the rules and knowledge of D&D from scratch, working more than ten hours a day for two months, but it wasn't boring at all, because it was really interesting!
Wikipedia, Pure Apple Garden, Bilibili, Tieba, tabletop role-playing games... I spend my days browsing these platforms, and I also watch movies and play games. I even upgraded my graphics card to a 5070 specifically to play Baldur's Gate 3.
But I still wouldn't dare say I'm "familiar" with D&D, because there's just too much information about this pioneering game that's been around since the last century.
I've read "The Incomplete Book of 5E" again and again, and I always make new discoveries.
However, I hope everyone doesn't need to worry too much about the rules, because many of the rules in D&D are designed for tabletop role-playing games, and there are many things that need to be adjusted when applied to real-world scenarios.
Furthermore, D&D itself is open, and third parties, user agents, and custom settings are also part of the rules. If you wish, you can also write rules according to your own understanding, and they may even be included in the official rules.
Anyone who has run a group knows that a pleasant experience is the result of mutual compromise, and rigidly adhering to the rules may lead to an unpleasant ending.
Happiness is what I want to bring to everyone!
In this book, I am the DM (Dungeon Master), and the readers are the players. We are embarking on a fantastical adventure with the goal of having fun.
Some people like the setting, some like the battles, some like leveling up, some are interested in magical items... In short, it can't be boring. I'm used to thinking about what I've written before every night before bed, and I write down any ideas or shortcomings, then revise them first thing the next morning.
I once deleted a main storyline of tens of thousands of words (leaving Baldur's Gate), probably because I made too many revisions, resulting in fewer and fewer drafts.
I swear, I had 40,000 to 50,000 words of drafts when I published the book, but I kept deleting and revising them every day, and the drafts became fewer and fewer, and now there are almost none left.
Guys, I'm not making excuses.
When I was writing my first book, I could write one or two thousand words per hour. This book, on average, I can only produce a few hundred words per hour, occasionally a thousand.
Of course I can write with my eyes closed, but those mundane plots can't touch my heartstrings. Even in the most ordinary chapters, I strive to include some interesting content.
I may not always be able to do it, but at least that's what I'm doing right now.

1. [Update Time Modification]
Tomorrow's update time will be changed to noon. I hope everyone will continue to support me.
The update time will still be set for 9 PM, when there are more people online.
II. [More chapters after release]
On the day of its release, approximately 10,000 words will be updated, comprising four chapters.
I will update as often as possible after the book is published, the more the better, to the best of my ability.
III. [Bonus Chapter Rules]
I'm just a small-time author. I only received a million-yuan reward from the big shot Nuanyang once, but I don't think I added any extra chapters at the time.
But not adding more chapters would be a disservice to the readers!
I promise to add more chapters for every leader of the alliance, and I will add more chapters for every thousand more average subscriptions. I will also add more chapters depending on the situation if I am on the monthly ticket ranking list.
If I'm running low on drafts, please allow me to write an IOU; I'll make up for it, really!
Thanks again for everyone's support!
Dear readers, please, please, please subscribe!
